Hi,does anyone know where to source a used Logic Board for LG Thrill 3D?
Mine is toast-phone is dead bricked....
Cheers,Mike
ebay
I was able to find the logic board itself on ebay, but the description made it sound damaged. Ultimately I purchased a Thrill that the seller confirmed powered on and worked but had a broken screen and busted casing.
Shipping to New Zealand
Thanks for the reply-that is a option but i have the problem of sellers only shipping within the US.I use EBAY alot but when it comes to Phones,it seems to be a issue.Any suggestions?

I (im in California, USA) recently bought an AT&T Tilt for $350 (got a great deal!) and only got a few good hours on it until dropping it (luckily i put on a protective clip on case from day one) but not lucky enough to keep my LCD from getting a nice hairline crack about a half an inch from the top toward the middle. So heres my options...
1. Replace the LCD (best i found was an lcd for about 130 including shipping from the UK)
2. Deal with the nice 0.5in x 2in area of messed up picture from the cracked LCD and use it like it is.
3. Sell it AS IS
4. Somehow convince ATT or HTC to replace it for me and little or no cost LOL
Any suggestions on this? Anyone know cheap repair services or cheap parts or need an 8925 with a broken LCD (throw me an offer ).
I'd try 3b, lol. give it a shot, you never know.
ok help me out with my statement im pretty good at working over reps, ive gotten out of 2 Cingular contracts, a SBC contract, a DishNetwork Contract...lol but getting a free repair/part i dont know about..

If you cant haggle for a repair, cnn.cn is always good for cell phone replacement parts.

throw me an offer
lol didnt see your title..sorry
Similar to you, I got my Tilt on Oct 19, and on Oct 20, I broke the screen. I searched around reading through all the threads about Tilt broken LCD in this forum, I finally find a guy named Nicholas who sold me a LCD replacement from Mainland China. Doesn't take too long I received the LCD replacement, and replaced the broken LCD by myself.
It is a little bit risky to replace the LCD by yourself if you are not technical. There are some threads you may want to read before actually replacing it. It is not very tough to replace the LCD if you knopw the tricks and right tools.
I was quoted $150 months ago for th replacement, and I am sure the price now is a lot cheaper. Please contact Nicholas if you want to get a replacement from him. I have PM you his email address. You may want to mention my ID when communicating with you.
Good Luck!

I need a new digitizer for my nexus one but when i look them up on ebay i see a lot of listings for a nexus one g5. I bought my nexus one a few weeks after it was released and was wondering if this g5 digitizer was compatible with mine? thanks.
It looks like "HTC G5" is what a Chinese knockoff company is calling itself. They made a Nexus One knockoff. It should work. I don't know what the ebay prices are like, but dealextreme.com tends to have a lot of repair parts (shipping is free, but can take a while).
Ok, so I dropped my Moto G 2014 and broke the glass. Now I have found service company in my city that will fix it for about 40% of the value of the phone. The thing is that they will not use original Motorola screen but some replacement. I can only imagine this will be bought on Aliexpress or some other Chinese site. Motorola in my country has very limited support so they will probably not want to fix anything outside of warranty repairs.
My question to you is the following. Have anyone of you had any experience with replacement screen that was not originally branded by motorola? Right now I do not know if the repair is worth it. If I am to pay some 80 dollars just to get a phone with a screen that is of doubious quality maybe it is better to sell the broken phone and buy a new one instead....
Yeah, instead of repairing it with non-original hardware, sell it for parts and buy a new one. This is truly a great advantage of buying a relatively inexpensive phone.
If you want LTE, you might want to wait a little as it seems as if a LTE version for Moto G 2014 is imminent.
About a month and a half ago I bought a supposedly original screen assembly on eBay, when it arrived it lacked all the "accesories" (speakers, gaskets, etc.). Now that I got refunded by eBay I'm looking for a website (or seller in eBay/Amazon/AliExpress, if you know from experience that what they've got isn't fake/replica) that sells original replacement parts with shipping to Mexico. I know of Witrigs and Stellatech, but none has stock of the parts I need at this moment.
Do you guys know of any other place where I could buy those parts?
anyone know the best place to get replacement lcd/digitizer ..
seems to be abundant of them on ebay ..but how we know which one?
What prices are you seeing? Last time I looked, they were $170 - $200 for the screen assembly.
I just shipped my phone off to an official Samsung repair center. It took about a week and cost $182 with tax for parts and labor on a new LCD/digitizer/screen for my Note 5. In addition to changing the screen, they also changed the metal side part, it's brand new with no scratches. That seems like a better deal to go that route if you have a spare phone you can use for a week. Just hop on Samsung's website to get the number to call. Don't fall for their ~$74 price quote. That's how much they charge just to diagnose your problem. I told them exactly what my problem was and what was needed, she told me $74. I nearly peed myself. After the repair center got it, they canceled that charge and told me it would be an extra $X for the parts and $74 was the diagnostic fee. Still, $182 total for parts and labor is a good deal, comparatively.
thanks for the write up!......
actually I have it dismantled already..... just wondering best place to buy replacement seems to average price at Same price you paid for fix.
I'm in dublin and note 5 wasn't sold in europe so I set about fixing it myself.
where to get original Samsung part and be sure it is Samsung part?
