HEEEEEYY GUYS .. how ya Doin? ;D
Hope yer all doin WELL...
anywhore..**
I think most of you guys have seen the "SE home launcher" made by Bakabon19 [he owns all credit] as far as i know.. correct me if am wrong
Not the point..
I have GDXv22.. And it looks like that launcher has got somethin on this ROM.. lol..
It just won't install in CWM..
well.. okay..
i Copied the files in the ZIP .. I set the permissions .. everything is damn Good..
i Reboot..
okay.. the launcher is there.. but it's not working Probably??
Damn, What's The problem?
I'm dying For this launcher..
Had enough of all Go launcher.. ADW .. What-so-fu*king-ever...
I have to mention this: i lowered the Density to 120..
i think that has effected the apps menu ..
the apps menu has a smaller window.. lmao .. ( on the active launcher ) not the same app..
if u guys could actually set it to work on multiple screen Resolutions and densities *both of the applications*..
Too much requests Huh?
Sorry ;D
I DO NOT OWN THAT APPLICATION..
Sorry for my imperfect English .. ;D it's not my Native ..
Do you have any other Xperia Homes installed?

i Think i found out why this is happening to me..
it's because the launcher DOES not support different densities .. Like the one i set my phone to display ..
when i turned it on to 150 the application was okay..
120.. is not working probably..
The way to fix this is to make it support that density ..
and i don't think somebody will actually do this for me.. Lol ..
My luck sucks ..

Yes you can, simply install the Home replacement, go into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, find Sense UI, Reset Default. When you press the Home button, it will ask which Home to go to, but if you check the box, use this default, it will go to that Home everytime you press the Home button.
But if i do that, will it erase the sense ui ? Can i erase it ? If i activate the other one, will it be slower if i don't uninstall the sense one ?
Thanks

you can't delete or uninstall sense. the steps described by gu1dry are absolutely correct. if you want to go back to sense just do the same, but delete the defaults for the homereplacement you have set as your default (gde or whatever).
You can remove the ui. I have done this to my hero.
All you need to do is remove rosie.apk from the phone and reboot.
Or try the rosie remover from modaco.
It goes very well.
just download home switcher from apps store, allows you to use the vanilla UI and any others you have installed you can easily change to different ones and change defaults
Why though?
Why get rid of the Hero's strong point?
Seems a bit weird to me.
Should of had a V8 i suppose

Hi, if you try to scroll down the apps, it will correct the position of icons, and you don´t need to rotate your device
yup , i do that
but is there a solution to solve it ?
I used launcher pro bf, also encounter this problem. Just click home and back to the drawer the should be fine..^^
Now using go launcher, more smooth and flexible..
I've done a lot of research but the i cant seem to get a clear answer about my two little problems...
Problem one ... Density I love having my ace at 140 DPI it makes everything look really nice. but it gives me one little problem the only thing i cant get to work is the dialler. I've tried different diallers but i always get the same force close if i try to call or if some one calls me.
So does anyone have a solution for those who have got it working? would it be possible to get a dialer from a 140 dpi device and use something like titanium to integrate it?
Problem two . I want to stop go launcher from constantly closing when i have other programs such as games or cool reader running.. is there anyway to kill task killers or an app that allows me to properly mutitask or flag apps as not for closing?
thanks for any help
Cm roms work well at 140 dpi. I had no prob at 140 dpi.
from XDA app
Press THANKS if I helped

For stock you can't change the density.....it causes dialer to force close because of the sudden change in resolution :/
Herpderp Defy.
Holding on to what I haven't gooooooooooooooooooot

It's just that dialer.apk doesn't have the correct files for that resolution perhaps.......whereas CM7 has different files for different resolutions

i have same problem with you, maybe we can work it together and found a great solution
maybe you can decompile your dialertabactivity.apk and look in res/layout-mdpi/dialer_app.xml
can this file help ???

Perfect Viewer can do this. Perfectly, I might add.
Open the picture you want with it, tap the middle of the screen, go to the second to last option, and set wallpaper as current screen.

from your suggestion, i did look at this.. i kept getting error .. "has stopped" or wont start or something like that..
description says to crop first..
really i do like the other app better because it uses the pic as is..really fast and accurate w/many options..
thanx tho
Try Wallpaper Wizardrii. I also use the Wallbase app and have moved some of my favorite wallpapers into the Wallbase Saved folder to apply them from within the app.
My homescreen is redrawing itself very frequently...It started when i installed JB ...and yes I tried EVERYTHING on this forum but nothing helped.....so i just want now to know what is the command/script to keep the LG launcher in memory at all cost....
I found something called "supercharger V6" but I don't know how to work with that....so Is there a alternative route to fix this problem ?
Sorry for my english...

you could try editing build.prop file yourself (which is what v6 supercharger does when making launcher "bulletproof") by using this method:
http://www.littlegreenrobot.co.uk/tutorials/quick-hacks-speed-up-your-launcher/
i haven't tried it, but it should work
edit:
just found out it wont work on ICS or higher sorry

Yep.....hopefully there is a way to do it in JB
EDIT: I think it actually works!!! I was playing games intensive to hardware/surfing on internet and screen did not redraw once....
EDIT2: After longer playing, my home screen redrawed itself.....but i think that it helped a quite bit...but that may be just my imagination

Jar files in the framework need to be edited for this to work on jb.
In the v6 supercharger there's a tool to do it all automatically, you only need root and terminal emulator.
Maybe I did something wrong but it did absolutely nothing...launcher is still reloading itself and I chose "bulletproof launcher" ....I used the "ultimatic_jar_patcher_adb.bat" file.....
