Need APX driver for my Tab 8.9

Hi everybody;
I got latest version of SAMSUNG kies(2.2.0.12014_18_7) on my pc.I need to update my tab using Odin but it asks me for APX driver while i connect it in download mode.Can anyone guide me through the driver installation process please?
Also i tried "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1_3_2300_0" but it could not solve the problem

waaaaa not recognized

my galaxy tab p1000 not recognized in download mode when im using odin...
can anybody help me iwant to reflash my tab...

Did you try to flash it anyway? Just keep trying. Good idea to be fully charged too.

boss ill try it a couple times but cant read my device i want to reflash my tab is bricked....uhuhuh

many has done it.
As long as you can go to download mode, you are not bricked.
remember to have it charged for at least 4hrs.
Just connect it to Odin preferably at the same USB port as the one you used before.
Reboot it to download mode while data cable is connected, then try Odin.

Connecting in Download Mode
I had the same problem when i changed laptop. So on my new machine, the PC would not recognize my P1000 in the download mode. I was running win xp.
The problem was that it wasn't able to automatically locate the drivers. No wonder it wasn't. The drivers aren't built in to xp driver cache. So here is what you need to do:
Download Samsun Kies from samsung website. Do a search on google and you'll get to it.
Once downloaded, install Samsung Kies. No need to run it or anything. Once downloaded, plug that tab in download mode to USB of PC, and it will get detected and the drivers will get installed.
I still have KIES installed, but i never used it, i just installed it for the drivers.

Hi Dude,
Instead of installing Kies on your XP or windonws 7 for only driver, you can install driver using below guide.
Go to Google and search as Galaxy Tab Driver and go...Click Modaco Website & then Download.

Overcome's GB-stock-safe-v5 zip package contains USB drivers too, both 32bit and 64bit.
But the best is of course in linux, just a single line of definition in udev.

I had the same problem (not recognized).. What I did to resolve the problem by:
1. Re-install Samsung USB drivers (got from here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881981)
2. Set the tab in DL mode and connect to the PC... wait for windows to install drivers.... DONE!
3. Startd Odin_v1.83.. CONNECTED!!! (seen by yellow COM#)

Stuck in a bootloop

Hello, today i tried to flash cm10 on my Galaxy S i9000, using these instructions.
This guide assumes the Samsung Galaxy S already has Android 2.3 or higher installed on it. If the Samsung Galaxy S already has the clockworkmod recovery installed, skip this section.
WARNING: INSTALLING A custom recovery IMAGE ON THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
Download hardcore's Kernel with the clockworkmod recovery and the heimdall Suite:

Windows:

Now, after I did this my phone got stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SI9000 loading screen. I was kinda scared because it was my first time flashing a rom, but I waited for ~10 minutes. After this I tried flashing another kernel, semaphore kernel JVT 1.9.1 but it didn't help, I'm still stuck in the boot screen. I'm really starting to worry, I'd really, really like some help .

try to instal a fresh android 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 (stock)
after that try again to instal what u want. during instal or after instal the phone enter again in bootloop, moment when u instal again the rom. after second try should be ok.

Hi, I've been trying to do this all day, but the problem is that I can't go into recovery mode, but only in download mode. Any ideas?

i m sorry but i forgot to mention a step. (step 2)
now i resume explanation
1. instal stock rom
2. root stock rom
3. enter recovery mode and try to instal your rom, probably incomplete
4. restart and go again in recovery mode and instal again your rom this time u will finish instalation successfully.

[Q] Help. Can't install drivers

Hi everyone. I have a SGS I9000 with the eclair version of the androir and i want to update it, but here´s the problem... I downloaded the soft samsung kies and connect the smartphone to the pc and when it was installing the drivers, the mtp didn't install.
I'm on windows vista x86, but i also tried on a clean windows 7 x64, here without the samsung kies installed, and the mtp can´t install, again.
I´ve downloaded the drivers SAMSUNG USB Drivers for Mobile Phones (x86 & x64) to update manually through the device manager but it says that is up to date and... nothing! Can't connect the phone to the Samsung Kies.
Any ideias?
