My device have problem with sound.
Maybe 2 time in one day i hear scratch sound, someone says this is open bottle sound.
And after this sound i can hear any music or notification sound but vibrate is still works.
I delete all phone and instal CM 7 .... and 2 weeks no problem with phone ..
Now 3 days back same problem coming again
Pls help me wit this ..
I got same problem, try to chang BB and RIL, it works for me
do you have any custom kernel isntalled?

mh, i'm using ETaNa kernel myself and i don't have any type of issue with sound... i can assume that is not the kernel... maybe some sound settings like voodoo.
try flashing CM7 and see if with the CM7 stock kernel those problems go away

The last time had had the sme problem ,it was after deleting the dsp equalizer ,
but all get back when i reinstall the equalizer , maybe it's that ?
Nice scratch sound is past but often my signal cant find. I instal ( getRIL ) and instal 218 europen version

Hi every one , iam new to flashing but I trained to flash like 10 times , I went from stock 2.1 to gingerbread 2.3.4 and then downgraded to 2.3.3 after having problems with F1 GS2 V6 , now I need a very solid rom because I can't see any difference between 2.1 an 2.3.3 or 4 they both lag now after flashing JV6 I found that my music plays at a veryyyyyyyyy bad quality if I raise the volume more than 8 the quality is horrible., the browser laggs , boot animation is veryyyy laggy and even the audio is out of sync from video , when I scroll in contacts list it doesn't seem smooth but laggy and slow , same for music player and any other list that has scrolling , I need u guys to tell me what's the reason for all this lag although iam on speedmod kernel , I tried darky's rom and I didn't like it same for crystko or w/e named , heow can I fix this lag and this weird sound problem? I also tried re flash but no fix , plz also tell me or recommend to me the best rom and custom rom and I will do as u guys tell me thxxx and iam very frustrated
Why don't you try a stock unrooted 2.3.4 JVQ for a while and see how that goes, before diving into custom roms?

i will look into that , but iam trying to get the best because i want to stabalize and start to customize my mobile , i need to re import my contacts and live normally ! :S
i also want to fix this sound problem iam afraid that the problem may be hardware but .... i don't think so
also JVQ has browser issues and needs to be fixed

First, I've to thank Doixanh for his great Rom, GingerDX. He had make a good job. I love this rom.
So, I've just a problem when someone call me, the phone is ringing but the call screen lag for 1 to 2 seconds before i can see it.
Call Me Louder is allready disabled. Anyone can help ?

Aint tried that one but I think its because of undervolt try to disable it and see if it goes away

Well, even in another kernel I have the screen delay.
The only thing that solves at least for me is to set minCPU to 245 MHz.
Well i am using alfs v06 and no probs so far,, mayb it has something to do with the stock kernel ? try switching to custom kernels,, but i have asked around a lot of people who use stock kernel, They said They didn't have such a problem,, than again some said that they did face this problem ,, so im kinda confused

lags screen in incoming call is because call mee lauder in dx setings disable this option and its ok try this

I have a OB with CM7 # 60 nightly and i'm impressed by the speed of my phone but..
the problem is since a few days my mobile network disconnects often for a few minutes. Thats really stupid because if I want do download a update, app, rom or something like that the connections always cuts off.
So i considered to flash the new official GB Rom and than flash the CM, so maybe i have a newer Version of Baseband. Would this work? or is there a better solution?

Better use Nova Kernel and not Huexxx, since this seems to have more bugs... But just guessing... Give it a shot and report

what's a kernel? I installed cyanogenmod with the rom manager app. It was corrible, so then I tried the zeus custom rom, but the soft key lights still don't work. Do I need to install a kernel? Where do I get a kernel? I just want a phone that works as LG said it should!
I flashed the "zeus"-Rom.

I have some problems with ( maybe ) my stock rom V20L. ( twice daily, sometimes more than once, i hear scrap sound or noise and after this sound dont play ( silent mode) any sound or notification, alarm just nothind
i must restart phone ... and after restart is all OK
I Want try instal new rom maybe test CyanogenMod9 ? or i need yours expression, because I do not know what to expect..
I never had custom rom. ( what is +pros or -cons for this rom )

At least you got root, that makes things easier...
Anyway, the thing is, you actually need to read yourself in order to choose the best rom... But, I can give you my opinion.
The best custom rom so far is in my opinion Temaseks CM7 KANG (my signature). I know CM9 is already available to us, thanks to our awesome developers , but it's still in alpha phase and not everything is working properly, So if I were you I would stick to CM7 until CM9 totally works. (which shouldn't take very long) But, it's your choice obviously...
Make sure to make a full backup though when you want to flash either CM7 or CM9, because you need to wipe everything when you come from stock...
Yeah he's right - in my opinion, try temasek's latest 71- its quite stable and awesome .....
Wipe everything after backup before flashing any rom so that everything works good

hi , the best rom is cm7 temasek 72..
make sure u do a full nandroid backup first and when u want to come back to stock rom remember to convert to ext3 filesystem first of restore the backup..
To increase the volume like stock rome use the app volume+, and to increase the camera photo and videos quality install stock camera mod by Kostia..

I really love nova HD +. It's CM9 based and it's getting updated a the time. But there are are few things which doesn't walk perfectly.

aokp 4.0.3 or kang 2.3.7
I use AOKP Mileston 4. In this rom there are same bugs of CM9 (no decoding/encoding video, some app for ICS are glitchy), but there rom is quite stable and smooth.
Also Temasek Kang CM7 with EtAna kernel by vadonka is a good choice =)
For me, the Chuck Norris Edition 1.1 is the most stable and fastest ROM!

I guys, I'm a newbie on cooking... but I was testing some kernels on my custom ROMs and I found a bug that is very annoying.
I'm using the Diana kernel (available at TANTRUMS Utilities) and everytime that I try to open GALLERY or try to play MUSIC at original LG applications it FC. Basically, the Gallery shows a blank screen for HOURS, and MUSIC shows a FC after some minutes.
I changed the kernel to the stock one and also tried marvel and voi là. The problem solved!
I switched back to the Diana kernel and the problem returns.
Is there anybody that has this bug?
Im using v20s-based ROM.

This problem occurs with boype's cm7 kernel too...
I was giving it another try... but the problem remains...
Even formatting the sdcard, I cant get my files read by gallery or music player...
Nobody has problem with this? Only me?
