Just got Galaxy S, what now?

Ok, i just bought a galaxy s from T-mobile croatia, version is I9000BOJF1, 2.1.
How can i get 2.2 and get rooted my phone?

TMobile if they have the upgrade it will be via Kies .

I would say just about all of them. If you are with Telstra then you can only use a few modems that would give you the NextG network.
There is an OZ thread that you might want to use for this.

yup, i have the p1000 GSM model.

What about the ones with Sprint CDMA version?

Siarnq, did you ever figure this out? I got the P1000L from Telcel here in Tijuana, I am trying to root it or to move up to Honeycomb, I am stuck with Gingerbread 2.3.6 and need to either downgrade to root or flash rooted rom to it, Thanks!

My I9000M is running Slim ICS just fine.
You might just have to change the modem for 850Mhz to work

Better check the topic & ask the developer if it supports your phone,as far as i remember not all roms are the same for all SGS types .

I will wait for your answer. I'm on Ginger bread and waited long to get it to ICS, finally today found this thread on XDA, please help.

Goto slimroms.net. they made the ROM, but I am not not how much support that phone gets now.

Going from rooted sph-p100 (Sprint) galaxy tab 2.3 4 to ice cream sandwich?

I've haven't rooted in years and came across a galaxy tab 2.3.4 that I rooted using odin. I've been looking to upgrade it to at least ics but if I can go higher that would be great too. I can't seem to find a good guide to help. Can someone point out some links to where I can download the ics or higher. A brief tutorial would be great too, if possible. Thanks in advance guys.
