The dalvik cache stores info about your current session. sometimes this info is a lot and can take up a lot of space in the phone memory. there is an option to save this information on the SD Card hence freeing space on your phone's internal memory. This is what dalvik cache to SD-EXT means.
Hope i helped.
also that SD-EXT is a partition of the sdcard like we have in hard disk
Thanks guys!!

back up everything on your sd card to computer. then use CWM to create the partitions. There are a few tutorials on the forum so search and I am sure you'll find one. good luck.

you need to change the folder location.
Go to menu -> preferences -> backup folder -> scan the WHOLE DEVICE (not only sd) -> select the one with /legacy in it.
it should work again :good:
Thanks! Solved!
So strange it was

Finally the play store fix come here...
With this tool u can fix the 492 or 498 error on play store (NOT SURE)
There are two versions, one for RFS partition and one for EXT4 partition, download the one accoreding to your rom specs.
EXT4
RFS
HOW TO:
1. copy the zip on sdcard
2. go to cwm and install it

Oh, so try going to settings>applications>manage applications>google play store and delete its data and updates, then reboot, wait until update is downloaded and try downloading something.
Still not working

For 498 error try to use cache fixer app. Works fine for me.

Here's what I did:
1. Applied your patch in recovery
2. After that, tried to update an app, still with 492/8 issues
3. Applied cache fixer
4. Unmounted cache (# umount /cache)
5. Mounted cache (# mount /dev/stl10 /cache)
6. Installed some random app
7. ????
8. HELL YEAH!!!

Ufa! (Something like "Finally!" in Portuguese)
This last steps from El_Dark worked for me. I just tried about every reciepe people posted here, at last I found a solution.
Thanks,
Ps. BTW, I have a Galaxy Y (GT-S5360B, 'B' in the end for the Brazilian version), but the steps suited fine.
I currently have CM7.2 rom on my device.
Could I just install(clean install) cm10.1 rom or there're some things to do before installing cm10.1 after using cm7.2 ?
I'm using sd-card class 6 with 1.5-2gb ext4 partition.
Thanks in advance!

Format internal SD in recovery .(under mounts & storage)
And i would recommend you to install your Rom clean

I have cwm touch recovery and i did that but its always the same. i delete all pastes but only give me 2 gb of space
Then look into your backup folder. Every backup is about 2 GB each and CWM doesn't delete it with internal SD as the space for backups is hidden from internal memory.
Download ROM manager and delete the unnecessary backups.

Maybe you didn't format sd from recovery, so what you can't see is still right there Cm uses a sort of emulated sd
