As far as I know is the default screen multitouch, and I think there is no other phone model screen you can modify on your HD2 :/

Thanks for info...

The default one is multi-touch. You can normally find them rather cheap on ebay if you need one. Sometimes you can get lucky in the Marketplace here on XDA.

HTC Diamond II digitizer

has anyone any ideas where to get a digitizer for the Topaz? Found one on ebay but it doesnt look like it would fit Diamond II...
any help appreciated
You've broken yours already?
Doubt you will have parts available anytime soon!
no i'm not that bad with phones
my touch hd is safe and sound, just bought a broken diamond 2 as a diy project but i guess will have to leave it on the shelf for a good while..
Found this for you:

For me this two digitizer have the same size, so how can this fit on diamond2?
So awkward!
Good point! Maybe it should be described as Diamond 1 digitizer styled like Diamond 2
actually just bought that one
was in talks with the seller because he had another one listed as diamond II but now he assures me this is the right one...will wait and see I suppose..
Just got my broken D2 in the post, looks great, nice design, decent size but would never trade my HD for it
if you could post pictures etc on how you get the housing off id appreciate it as id probably want to do this down the line.
will do once I do that myself will have to google it first I suppose...
Waiting for my digitizer to come in the post, will start my DIY project then
got the digitizer, turns out to be the wrong one, they still dont have any in stock for Diamond II
but managed to hook up the DII using Pocket Controller, works a treat
bluetooth mouse and keyboard can be connected to it no problem using Blueinput, all I have to do now is figure out how to control the DII from my HD
I search one too... I mailed tens of sellers on ebay and they can't provide me this...
I eventually gave up and sold it on
got an omnia hd now, will see whats that like
I puts back him on sale because I have to repair my Touch Pro :

Replacement SLCD Screen

Hello Guys,
I'm a little stuck, I had a glass of water that spilt over my phone and it's damaged the SLCD screen.
I'm after a new screen and will fit it myself as HTC will not fit a new one at a charge as it's not a part of thier policy. I've searched around for phone repair but don't trust sending my phone off.
I've searched around for screens and where i've come stuck is that I thought that the HD7 has a SLCD screen? I've only come across LCD screens. See link below of one I may purchase if correct? Edit well turns out I can't post links.
Can any correct me if I'm wrong? I don't want to buy a cheap screen and waste my money.
Hi,
The only HD7's on the market at this time that actually have an SLCD screen are those sold by AT&T and are listed as the "HD7S". All other HD7's have a standard LCD display.
If you bought yours from AT&T then you have an SLCD, if not then its just a standard LCD.
Hope that helps...

I wonder if the s screen would work on a hd7???? A brighter screen sure would be nice.
Sent from my HD7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
This is my question too. I hope so cause from what I understand, everything else about the 2 phones is the same.

if iam not mistaked the HD7 from bell also carries an SLCD and is essentially a unbranded HD7S. Bells website clearly promotes the phones SLCD on their site. Correct me if iam wrong please.
**Ive also compared my HD7 from bell to t-mobiles and there is a difference in the quality, more so in the viewing angles and color depth.**

Galaxy S amoled screen broken but not the gorilla glass

Hey guys, my old and trusty galaxy S amoled screen shattered somehow, and I do not want to repair the phone as who knows the internal parts might die anytime?
Does anyone know of other uses for such a phone? Or is replacing the screen the only way out to make full use out of it?
It's interesting to see a phone model 2 years old still has so much development going on

If you're handy with things like this, a replacement screen is about $80, which isn't too bad. Pretty big pain to do it though. On the other end of things, if you're half decent with a linux terminal (or willing to learn a bit), ADB will be your best friend here.
EDIT: Also unless you mess something up internally or do something really wrong flashing it, it won't just die on you.

Had the same problem... i changed the display module for a new one... it's one with the glass so you need to replace the whole display
and believe me ... it's worth it... en really not exspensive!! just google it
and when replaced ...turn on the device en you'll see that NOTHING of data, pics, music etc. is lost...
sorry for my not to good english.
replace it!

Hi, I had the same issue few months ago. At that time, I found that you can buy a replacement display on e-bay, but most users claimed it was not an AMOLED display.
Also, in my case, I was not able to connect to the phone by ADB.
For those reasons I then decided to send the phone to the Samsung repair center. The only problem was that they wiped the phone (they did a factory reset). However, I didn't loose any picture I have saved on the phone. The phone is happily working and running CM10 nightlies
regards,
marco
I have a broken touchscreen (still works but is badly scatert)
So can i only replace touchscreen?
So not can i just put a new lcd with touchscreen on it. (I have amoled one is it posible to put lcd on it?) Because i know amoled is a pain to.findd parts.

Sprint HTC One Where to buy replacement screen?

Ok so I have the 801c, everything on ebay seems to list 801n 801e 801s and so on...
I would like to replace the lcd (it's cracked) but would any of the ones on ebay be compatible with my 801c? what are the major differences? (please dont preach to me about insurance this or it's impossible that....)
I would like a straight forward answer if possible (dont tell me to use the search option either, already tried that...)
Would also like to know if any of the other colored housings on ebay would be compatible aswell?

While I don't have a direct answer for you, I would believe the screen of the HTC One is the same regardless of "C" or other letter labeling. That said I also want to link you to this so you understand how difficult it will be to replace the screen: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/HTC+One+Teardown/13494
I wouldn't use insurance, definitely not impossible in fact it's simple to replace. Absolutely don't search, Google is useless. Every different color is a different size!!
