Cronos Rom now available for the Nexus S. The creator Feeyo was banned from XDA but he made great ROMs for the HTC Hero. Just wanted to show you this.
Banned user work removed
Have fun!
Edit: Still a test release. It gets stuck at the google logo at the moment
I tried flashing and I was stuck on the Google and Lock screen

Any SS to see how it looks like?
Interesting, I still have my old hero as a spare phone and use cronos gingerbread on it - he's a great dev.

So guessing only for the ns n not the ns4g?
NS4G°
There is a reason he was banned, I remember him from the Hero forum, he refused to give the source code, and gave the developers broken trash instead.
His ROM's were damn good though...
I don't know if posting it is the smartest thing to do, but we'll see.
i still remember having cronos on my old milestone, really great rom. hope this is going to be as good as on other devices!

It appears that in the "Development" Section that there are a couple new ROMs available, still waiting on my personal favorite Cyanogenmod to become available for the Optimus 3D (which is the sister phone for the Thrill)
What rom would anyone suggest I use
I mainly want 3d converter tethering mms and 4g
If I could post in the development section I would ask the starters of the threads if they are still working on them

Well you will be hard pressed to get all that, you want converter you will have to install o3d rom but, you will lose 4g and have to setup apn for mms, someone is working on getting all that fixed up right now. Converter only works with I think v10j and v10k based roms, all thriller are v10e. J and K versions are O3D only. All custom roms come with tethering
We're putting together a team Armageddon style to work on Dev. But instead of roughneck experts, it's mostly adventurous rookies. Gah I need a jacket patch for this!!!

Hey guys! I saw an ICS leak for Desire S. It uses the HTC's 3.x kernel.
I think, we can use it for our Incredible S ICS ROMs.
Here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26467348&postcount=163
Cheers!
We don't have sources therefore it won't help.

Because it is practical, faster and saves time? And I also hate it to read/write everyday the same question and give the same answers. As example this leak. I read around 5 time the same, asked it one time self if it does help. It doesn't do. But now you can see everywere a thread about it.

I don't think you would be able to install a custom ROM on that device. It's just because there are so many budget tablets and there are no developpers for them.

Rule #1 of xda, search. Search on xda for whatever you're looking for, if you didn't find it, google it. And if you can't find it there, that means it doesn't exist.

Look at the link in the first page of this thread. When you click that link it takes you to a forum for your tab. The FIRST sticky tells you how to get CWM Recovery for your tablet.
I know you did that and backed up your tab before you flashed it so you should just be able to use CWM recovery to restore the backup you made before you flashed a new ROM.
I was in a hurry and didn't back up plus I crnt see anything on the screen

You need to start reading and following directions. It's not difficult but it requires you to actually read the steps.
Give a man a fish...yada yada yada.
I told you to contact the dev first

Jmz, now that we have the kernel from HTC, does this open the door to ROM ports like CM and others, or are we still waiting on other required bits?
