You'll need to flash an SBF file using RSD Lite. That will return the phone to a like-new state as far as the file systems are concerned.
Is there video for that ? Because I suck with pure writing instructions

Hi guys, I hope someone can help me, I had the version JB leak, but downgraded my phone to ICS, everything was normal and get root access and back it up with voodoo, update to JB OTA version, and recovered my root access satisfactorily, but not yo know when I lost it, because I notice it when using SQL Lite wanted to activate my wifi hotspot as he had done before, but this time the SQL Lite did not open because he said he had no access root, the root verique ckecker and had effectively lost the root, try doing a factory reset but the result was the same, try turning down grade my phone but this time the RSD Lite not allowed me, throwing one Fail.
Someone could help me with this? Someone will have an idea?
Sorry, my english is not so good

I saw the drama with Kingo and the Root de la vega thread is closed.. does this mean we should hold off on rooting for the time being?
I think many still have de la vega and many still have Kingo. Read through some of the post and decide. I had Kingo root and my phone worked perfect. Custom lock was gone after installing wanum knox was still 0 as was warranty. I think it just comes down to a choice. I chose to unroot until this issue is worked out. I still have both files on my computer just waiting s few days to see what comes of this topic

I just flashed root de la Vega again and it was fine. I'm even on MI1 firmware. No issues whatsoever. Knox still at 0x0

Been using De La Vega since DG released MI9 root. No problems ever since and still happy. I probably will go back to stock when there is a new important OTA but till then, I'll be enjoying my root
anyone try to use de la vega (current MI9) with the new att update?
Super SU survival mode will keep root according to all the other post like this.

people who lost root though... once you go to mj5, u cant reflash MI9, tht the problem, i was stupid to lash mi9 then do a update right off the bat so its my fault. guess i will have to wait for sammobile to have the firmware so i use the universal de la vega.same problem cant run the root scrip bv i dont wanna risk boot looping and without the ability to go back to mi9 tonight unitl firmware mj5 comes back
Update:
Kingo root does work with the new update. KNOX is NOT triggered.
Where do you find this at. I only see De LA Vega

They have a website
http://www.kingoapp.com
Just follow the instructions they have on the installer and you should be fine. I was rooted with RDLV and the OTA update broke my root (forgot to check survival mode in SuperSU), and now back to root using Kingo

I have a developers edition. After I installed the 4.4 update I cannot write to my usb flash drive via otg cable now. I can only retrieve files from it. I did not have this problem before on 4.3
I usually use ES for my file manager. I tried astro and everything else. Another weird thing is that after the update when I click usb on my local directory it goes to /mnt/media_rw/usb
View attachment 2426087
View attachment 2426088
It then says not found.
The only way I'm able to go and view my usb flash drive directory is if I manually go to
/mnt/usb
I checked the properties and it says it's r/w
Is anyone else having this problem? I searched everywhere but found nothing since this update is brand new I guess. Can someone try and test otg on their HTC one? I transfer files in and out on my flash drive everyday for work.

How did You solve this problem?
I'm interested in this solution as well. I mount my USB stick through the OTG cable, and I can only read files, no write access is possible. SW: Android revolution HD 51, rooted.
EDIT: I followed this guide and the app managed to solve my problem: http://gs4.wonderhowto.com/how-to/b...ns-android-4-4-kitkat-your-galaxy-s4-0152036/
me pueden ayudar como hago para que el HTC one m7 reconosca el cable otg ya fui a recovery para que lo renocosco el oprimo pero no lo reconoce no le marca la x en el cuadro de otg.

Yes you just have to find a link that had the files. How I did mine. But hearing v2 of the kingo?? Works well and doesn't have those issues like v1

Yeah you can use de la vega, that's what I just did a few days ago right after getting my note 3. I'm still on mi9 right now. Must remember to use app like titanium to freeze ATT software update ASAP, just in case an auto update ruins everything.

I work with a guy that bought the note 3 over Thanksgiving and wants me yo help root his phone. I used Root de la Vega when I had mine(i had to get rid of it). Why is his thread locked?
