I am looking for which ICS roms use a tablet API.
I would like to this list to be included on the wiki page.
Thanks in advance
imilka's AOSP, ICS Stunner, Codename Android and ICS AOKP.
Yup, gotta change the DPI to 213 or lower to enable it...build.prop or AOKP and ICS Stunner both have "Euphoria" controls to easier enable it.
I recommend the stunner beta 4.3
It's very good , and you just need to change the LCD dencity to 213 in euphoria control and reboot.

Hi mates,
I am on ICS 4.03 with my SGS I9000.
I miss a lot the drag-down control panel from Gingerbread, is there a way to have it also on on IceCream?
Thanks a lot
If you really want it
If you want drop down menu with ICS then you should use ICS CM9
from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363593
Thanks,
I'd like to stay with ICSSGS RC4, so I solved using widgetsoid
what is your personal preference on the available ICS roms?
Taking into consideration functionality and stability.
(this might be a dumb question but ics roms remove the function of the capacitive buttons and the home button right?)

Go for midnote 2.0 the most stable of ICS roms. Will have touchwiz also but just replace with Nova or Apex and its just like stock ICS.
If you just want the real stock ICS then go for imilka's AOSP ICS rom.
And no the ICS roms dont remove the function of capacitive and home button. Midnote doesn't remove it. In Imilka you can flash a zip and can have onscreen buttons!
Is it possible to add the euphoria app/control to an existing rom?
I was using ICS Stunner - fantastic rom and I will go bak to it when the official ICS is released and the developer make a new ICS Stunner based on it.
I have now installed the Christelo rom but it doesn't have the Euphoria control settings, an it be added separately or does it have to part of the installed rom?
Euphoria is AOKP ICS only. To my knowledge there is no way of making it work on any other GB or non-AOKP ICS rom.

Can't you guys do a simple Google search?
I did a Google search, still not any wiser as to what it means to be as an end user or to answer my original question. I suppose I'll just have to go back to ICS stunner and lose the s-memo etc. until the official release comes out if I want to make use of the euphoria features
Before flashing Stunner please read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1633938
If you just want Euphoria and don't care about ICS then I advise you just stick with GB for the moment because all ICS roms are flawed at the moment. If you want ICS without Euphoria you can try CM9 and if you want a little more customization you can try the MIUI rom based on CM9 but it has some bugs.
AOSP = Android Open Source Project
AOKP = Android Open Kang Project
Hello.
i`m realy curious about what the difference is between PARANOIDANDROID and stock or custom ics rom from samsung
now i now the UI is different but i maybe want to flash to PARANOIDANDROID
what are the + point and what are the - sides of the rom JB PARANOIDANDROID
personal preference and customizable to a great extent.. lot of features like hybrid mode and per app dpi settings.
if you want to know more about the rom, you should definitely check out the main thread
Is there any way to port Samsung camera application on JB rom? I know that these roms are missing samsung framework, and simply copying will not work, is there any other way? I tried JB+ camera app from the market, good features, but the video recording lag as hell. Can anyone recommend another camera app that will work with JB ROMs
Thx in advance.
Im using JB 4.2.1 C-RoM BeaN v2 and i find the stock 4.2 camera works very fast and smooth. I suggest you try it.
Device: GT-i9000
Rom: JB 4.2.1 C-RoM BeaN v2
Kernel: Mackay 0.230
Interactive governor
ROW I/O scheduler
Baseband: I9000BVJJPG
RemICS 4.2 rom can also be considered
I am currently using remics 4.2 , its comparatively feature rich, a nice browser, latest touchwiz goodies, and a nice CAMERA too. But i m also missing that amazing stock camera of samsung , itz performnce is simply amazing especially at dark. IS THERE ANYWAY TO PORT IT FROM STOCK GINGER BREAD??? DEVS PLZ HELP :crying:
I think it's impossible due to different camera app code layout. New layout showed up on ICS first, so if you want to have old, good GB camera I suggest you to flash stock firmware

Plus the stock camera relies on full Touchwiz frameworks to operate- which unofficial roms lack...
