Anyone try this yet? Dont have the time to try my self at the moment...

I am under the impression it is the one that's hacked to work on any ICS device, so no go for me.

Well I thought this works for gingerbread no go either for me
Sent from my VS920 4G using xda premium

I got it to load ( pushed it to /system/app ) but it won't load any web pages, just gives me a blank screen.
Sent from my Bionic using Tapatalk 2

I don't understand what's 'hacked' about this

There is no way for Chrome to work on our device. No ICS kernel = no hardware acceleration.

[Request] XDA Honeycomb App

Dear XDA,
I recently purchased the premium version of the xda app and I love it.
I was just wondering I guess if there is a honeycomb modified version in the works.
If you would like a person to beta test and report to you, I would be thrilled!
Thanks,

+1.. would also like to see a tablet version.
It's based on Tapatalk, so I think they would have to update Tapatalk first. Correct me if I'm wrong.
But, yes, that would be great!
Add me as someone who would pay again for a tablet version. I am guessing that tapatalk would need to be updated first.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
Off topic, but I don't like tapatalk (even though I paid for the premium xda app), and would like to know who decided it was a good idea to pop up the "native android" tapatalk window on every friggin' android forum so I can send them a rotten cabbage.
+1 on the rotten cabbage.
yes, my xda premium app works fine on my galaxy tablet, but always forces close on my new xoom. I would love to see an update real soon.

Yes, I get it to work sometimes but experience many force closes as well on my WiFi Only Xoom. Would love an update.

+1 on a tablet optimized version.
Using the website is nice, but it has it's bugs within the native browser. Have yet to try it on anything else, but plan to in the future.
I get so much fc with xda app. We neeeed a tablet version!!!!!

The xda premium and regular xda app both force closes on my xoom whenever I attempt to open a post. This does not happen on tapatalk or on web on xoom.
+1000 on both. Come on xda your too good for that app...

using Opera makes the site loadly nicely and respond amazing so an app isn't really necessary

Hopefully this is being worked on. I don't see why it wouldn't seeing as this is primarily an android hacking site.
It can't be done without a tablet version of Tapatalk (which I would love to see)
So xda can't create an app independent of Tapatalk? I'm not buying that. I know the current xda app is based off/connected to Tapatalk, but i don't see how they couldn't create an app.

They probably could develop a custom one but why reinvent the wheel? I recommend contacting the developers of Tapatalk if you want resolution to issues and create a Honeycomb friendly version. That would be much faster than programming a custom app.

Tapatalk Pro works fine on my wifi xoom. It seems that the xda app only has issues with the wifi only model and works fine on 3g model.

I feel you. I ended up doing that. Though honestly I probably wont be on there at all. I always ask for a dl first cuz I don't wanna waste bandwidth and database space making an account I'll prob never use, lol.
How would I continue to use this when say cm7 comes out or any other rom? Would I drop the animation.zip into /data/local or the contents of the animation

Beats the Red Eye
Easy as pie install and far more attractive that the evil red eye (that somehow makes me feel like Verizon is watching me.)
works like a champ. kinda weird on the quality but it still beats the original

Show your Droid 3 Homescreens

Hi,
I'd like to know how you are personalizing your Droid 3s homescreen. I'll start:
Im 99.9% certain that there is another homescreen thread somewhere in the D3 forums... but I'll share mine with you anyway.

There are numerous screenshot/capture apps on the market... if youre running ICS you can screenshot on the D3 by simultaneously pressing and holding the volume - & power button for a couple seconds.

Your problem could be a bad flash, or a program running in the background using up resources.
