[Q] samsung galaxy note display replacement

hello to all
a friend of mine broke my samsung galaxy note display.
my question is now - how expensive is a display replace?
or is there any chance to use the warranty for the replacement?
i would be really glad if anyone knows how much this would cost (maybe in euro?) [p.s.: i live in germany]

Gold Note 8 + blue S pen = warranty????

Here I am with one noob question.
I just bought gold Note 8 (blue isn't available here).
I really want to buy blue S pen.
This one, ebay ->
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 OEM Stylus S Pen AT&T T-Mobile Sprint Original Blue
So if I buy this, use it, will this void my Samsung warranty?

Why would it? In case you need to repair your phone, just insert the original gold s-pen and you are good to go.

The blue Note 8 has a black S pen!

I don't know why it would.. I still have my 7 blue s pen.. And it works fine.. I have never read anything that would say using a different "Samsung" official s-pen would either cause any problems or void any warranties...

Just a suggestion from an aesthetic point of view. Buy the coral blue S-Pen for the Note 7. The Note 7 and Note 8 use the same exact S-Pen, so they are interchangeable. The Coral Blue one is a blue pen with a gold cap/clicker-thing. So when its in the phone, it looks like a gold S-Pen, until you take it out, and its blue.
And no it won't void your warranty. Its an official Samsung S-Pen. The color does not affect the functionality.

if the spen is blue and a genuine Samsung it is from the Note 7 days and will work perfectly alright and no it will not void your warranty, even if you got a copy/replica pen it would not

SPEN has an electrical tie to your phone and not a digital tie. So you can use any S PEN and the phone will not care.
I have a Samsung Pen that has the eraser on the end and it works perfectly fine. I've even switched the S PENS between my phone and my wife's phone without issue.

Question about the S Pen Note 9

Hello to all
I just picked up the black model note 9. I wanted to be sure this was correct in that any of the note 9 s pen colors will work with different colors of the note 9? I was going to pick up the yellow s pen for my black model note 9. Thanks for the help!!

Hi Dconn !
Yes it works ! For that you'll have to make sure the "signature s pen color" option is activated (it should be turn on by default).
For this option you have to go through settings > advanced features > S-Pen > Screen off memo > "Use s pen signature color"
I also have a Black model but I prefer the regular black S Pen just a question of taste.

What's up brother. I actually sold my black Note 9 to buy the Mate 20 pro thinking it was going to be the near perfect device and I never warmed up to it. So I ended up sending it back and being that I was a many year pro apple user I have all but converted to Samsung. I regretted letting my note 9 go so I just picked up the ocean blue note 9 and on Saturday went back and ordered the 6.1 inch S10. Here are a couple of pics. I intended on getting the blue but when I saw the iridescent white and how it color shifted hues I was sold. Its going to become my daily driver although I think the note 9 is the best device I've ever used or reviewed as it offers everything and is lacking nowhere. No weaknesses, I prefer the one handed device or smaller device to use day in day out. Check out how killer the iridescent white S10 is.

Ah ok. Understood. I've never been a fan of emui really. Had Samsung before with the S6 then went with red iPhone 7 which I loved. Thing is a colleague had the N9 and I fell in love. He had blue though, but I simply could not refuse Samsung offering £350 for my iPhone 7!
That S10 colour looks mint! Such a nice finish, no wonder you have a clear case on it!

Hey I appt it. I actually dont have a case for the S10 yet. It just arrived today. I found a really slim case on Amazon earlier that I ordered as the S10 is quite slippery. I absolutely love the Note 9 myself. I used to be very pro apple. I did order the new iPad mini 5 so I may pick up a iPhone XR to go with the new iPad mini.

Need Samsung Galaxy Note 5 original display

I'm looking for Samsung galaxy note 5 original display so if any could help with a dead phone but working display is huge relief for me. As the phone is old, don't want to invest too much with Samsung service parts. If any could help in anyway possible to get hands on original replacement part I will be happy....!
