Okay so every time I put my note in sleep mode, it disconnects from wofi so when I turn on the screen, I have to wait for it to connect before being able to do anything.
It also repeatidly disconnects while I'm using the phone.
I am on stock from with root. Using abyss note kernal.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.s. I am going to send it in for warranty repair, but that won't be for another two to three weeks while I secure a phone to use while my note is away

I've been having this problem for awhile now.
Where the left part of my screen would become unresponsive in any app. Usually lock screen and back on would solve it, or just a rotate screen.
But I was wondering if anyone has the problem as well?

I had this problem a few months ago, i was told that the touchpad had a hardware problem, they gave me a replacement phone.
Mmm so it's a hardware issue?
I think it's too late for me to get a replacement now lol

Are you on ics?

Yes, but it happen before on gingerbread too
I am not so sure that it's hardware, if I rotate the screen and click on that are part of the screen which was unresponsive before it would work.

Does anyone else have this problem? It happening on and off so it's hard to pin down what is causing this.

Dear all,
I am using 2 batteries a day, when i change battery then turn the phone on, the date and time automatically reset, anyway to overcome this problem?

If you choose time by network and choose your local GMT ,no problem with that, for me it works ...

I seem to have figured out that my persistent random reboots happen when
1. My phone is idle
2. When I'm not home
3. When I'm not connected to my home wifi
I have auto wifi installed. I'm going to uninstall it and monitor my phone when i leave the house later.
Can anybody else who have the random reboot problem confirm if the conditions i've listed above are similar to yours?

Yes to the first 2, but I have an SGS2. Solved it by moving to a better rom

You also have nummber 2. Do you have wifi at home?

It's been 5 hours since I left home. No random reboot so far. Looks like auto wifi is the culprit. Not sure if it's conflicting with something. Will post another update by the end of the day.
No random reboot in 12 hours. Guess it's safe to already assume that auto wifi did infact cause it for me.

I have a Samsung Tab 8.9 LTE from ATT. I think it's called the i-957. Today, I turned it on and it flashed the Samsung logo and stayed on it until I powered down. Now it won't even turn on. I've tried everything, including Odin and recovery model. It doesn't respond at all.
Does anyone have any ideas? I don't even get a battery indicator when plugged in.
Read the thread by alboy as well as the da g oc thread. Same thing happened to him.

Happened to me too.
I warrantied it as I didn't need another paperweight.

Thanks. I sent in to Samsung for warranty as well. Does it matter if I rooted and OCed it?

Aouch, I hope for you they don't figure it out, because any flash using Odin voids the warranty :/

Hi, for some reason my note 5 (SM-N9208) only lasts for 11 or 12 hours. It is getting really annoying. Shouldn't it last longer? I don't heavily use it. I would say I medium use and occasionally heavy use it.
Ive got same problem. There is already threads about it. Note 5 has problem to go to deep sleep mode.

I am testing some thing tonight will update tmrw if it solve my stand by drain.
Ok I tried this which helped to reduce the drain.
1. Go to device administrators and unselect google device manager.
2. Go to location and click on Google location history and turn it off.
Just try this and let me know.
