HTC Sound Optimization - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Themes and Apps

When HTC Sound Enhancer failed under Mango we lost a great tool but I hear its replacement has been released - HTC Sound Optimization. Apparently its in the US Marketplace (but not NZ).
Has anyone got their hands on it?
Can anyone tell me where to get it?
Anyone tried it? On pdaimatejam's wonderful ROM?

Did the soundenhancer ever work for you? Have I missed something?
For me, everytime I started him, the biggest use I could get from him was the pushing of the max. volume, but that effect ended after every track.
The app never really "enhanced" the sound for me.

Sound Enhanced pulled out marketplace since Mango released.... not support Mango

Sound Enhancer WAS pulled but Sound Optimization is the Mango REPLACEMENT. Many articles online about it, and that is why I want I want to try it if anyone can direct me to or supply it!

I looking for this too. Actually in Polish Marketplace it doesn't appear. Anyone have an xap of it?

I've only found articles and whatnot. but i never have actually found it. i spent one whole day just searching for that. but if you figure out how to work the old enhancer, its good enough. to really tell the difference you gotta use headphones

Still no luck myself but will post if I find it!

What if some one flashes a mango rom. and then brand it like a surround or hd7 and try to get it.

My HD2 identifies as an HD7 but doesn't recognise the update is available

Hey, I don't want to open up a new thread.
So, I'm asking here - is there anyone with the new XAP of HTC Sound Optimization as is the old Sound Enhancer is now called?
I'm using Intrinsinc, I'm seeing the Attentive phone app, but not the Sound Enhancer/Sound Optimization app.
Regards,
Alex.

If there was we'd have posted it. I haven't found it or been prompted to update to it (Ansar ROM)

Celluon CL850 Bluetooth Laser Projection Keyboard

I'm stuggling to get my CL850 Bluetooth Laser Projection Keyboard working with my HD2.
I had it working fine with my HD with the manufacturers WM6.0 Drivers but I'm getting a "security database" error on my HD2?
I'm hoping that it may just be a BT Stack issue and that a new (or different) Radio Version may solve the problem.
I'm still on Rom 1.48 with Radio 2.06.51.07 - I've had so much added to my ROM I haven't had the time to upgrade it as yet
Has anyone had any success with other Rom or Radio versions?
Thanks in advance....
PS. There's a similar posting (not mine) in the HD2 General Forum but I thought it sits better here as its an accessory.....
.
Just bumping this in the hope that someone can help???
I've upgraded to ROM 1.66.405.2 with Radio 2.06.51.07 but still not having any success??? Anyone got any ideas?
.
You are a moneybag no one have such keyboard
too expensive for us (ordinary people)
wait until price will drop about 70% down
then more people can buy it, it means more people can have problems with it an more people will be involved to solve those problems.
but now it's a nonsense to get it for the price about half of HTC HD2
I'm having the same problem as well. I have tried quite a few methods with limited success. Its a shame really, the keyboard is really nice to use and would be perfect for Office Mobile on the move!
but now it's a nonsense to get it for the price about half of HTC HD2

i bought my keyboard new for £95 last month, cheapest i can find HD2 in UK is £460
I reckon Celluon have gone under though, lots of people complaining that there is no support contact for quite some time now

???? You've made me smile - a lot..... I've had the CL850 for over a year.... Maybe I had more money a year ago??? Didn't we all....?????
Thank you though for your Very (VERY) useful comments.... Its always good to see members supporting each other
Back on topic though. There are a lot of Bluetooth devices that do not appear to be working properly with the current HD2 Stack? I'm hoping HTC will take note and address in later Radio versions?
.
I just explained why you shouldn't wonder that no one replies.
Simply very few people have this keyboard.

OK - So the first time in response to you post I'm smiling and showing some patience - now I'm really wondering WHY you have replied? Do YOU have this keyboard? Are YOU having problems with the current BT Stack on the HD2 with other devices? Do YOU have something useful to share with us? Mmmmm..... I wonder?
If you can offer some useful guidance then I would be most grateful?
.
Bluinput
I got one of these for £44 on Ebay Basically as a space saver if I wanted to use my HD2 as a document editor on a train/plane (will need a kick stand battery for this though)
There is a definate problem with BT on the HD2 in trying to get this to interface. Works OK on my XDA Orbit2 though.
I'm waiting to see if BlueInput will address the issue when it is released. Currently this is in Beta testing at the moment.
Given that micro-projectors are starting to be put into phones, how long will it be before we see laser projection interfaces built into a phone?
sooooo
anything? lets hear some good news. i love my celluon
no support for 6.5
I have the same problem. There is no solution because there is no support for windows mobile 6.5. Look at www.celluon.com and write an email with a request for a new driver/firmware for windows mobile 6.5 like I did and then wait....
Have you tried the WM6.1 driver?
I think i had it working on my Kaiser.
I havent tried the driver on my HD2 yet!
I have bought a second-hand of this , but no where I can find bluetooth software for it , so I can only use it throught USB, could anybody have this keyboard kindly share a copy of the shipped CD ? or point me to some place to download ? thank in advance. My email is [email protected]

Disappearing keyboard...

Hi,
Has anyone found an actual fix for the disappearing keyboard fault on the HD7?
I don't know if there're any more models being affected, but I've had to buy an Android phone to replace my HD7 whilst my O2 contract keeps getting paid for an unusable phone.
I know it improves if I switch off background apps, but what is the point of turning live tiles into dead tiles?
I've also tried custom Rom's but they also have the same problem. And I've also tried limiting the fault by tracing each application one at a time, but no luck.
I am thoroughly appalled by the latest MS phone OS after being a long time Windows Mobile user, and, as in the past, I hope someone on XDA can provide a real repair.
Thx...

you had too little patience
fixing for it started to roll out yesterday and already some cooked rom has it
Look for roms with OS 8107, that is new update to fix the issue.

[Q] Bit of a project...

I'm trying to make a cheap 'webcam' in order to see the mouth of my local river, in order to see if is worth me going out to sea to sail. Bit random i know...
I need to make a cheap camera which uses ip or video chat to link to the phones camera.
I was thinking of using a u8180 which i got for £19 and a solar phone charger ~£15 and placing these in a watertight enclosure.
The last piece of my puzzle is the software to use. It has to be android as the phone is android but what can i use to get the phone broadcasting video either back to the web or direct to my phone?
Someone suggested 'Tango' video chat but i'm not sure whether it will work for me. I was thinking that a video chat software with 'auto answer' would be ideal but i'm open to suggestions. I don't know whether its feasable to have the phone uploading to a website but this would be the best outcome as it would let other people view the feed.
Anyone got any suggestions? Ideally it wouldn't involve anything other than ready made applications as i can't code!
thanks!

Sound recorder in stock rom?

Just tried to use the sound recorder shipped with stock rom, only to.. not find it.. Hehe..
Unless I am suffering from early senility or something I remember quite loud and clear this app being on first One, replaced a week ago because of recessed power button.
Can anyone please clear this out for me, I am with Telus, 1.29.661.5
On the other hand there was also some music, maybe 5 songs, completely missing from 2nd device, I know the seller did unwrap and opened the box before my eyes, could it be he was a professional trickster?

Isn't it in the 'Notes' app?

There was a standalone app, called sound recorder or something between these lines.
Anyway, not a big deal, already installed a sound recorder app from market, it's mostly about confirming - or not - the seller's mischief, where he made me believe the device was new from box...

As big dee and darkraven said,it's the best phone ever made with a sleek and stylish aluminium body which makes it body more durable than the S4 and xperia z.
It runs on 4.3 and will be recieving an update in Early 2014(in february,i think)
It has a 1.7 ghz krait 300 quadcore processor (the 4g lte only has a 1.5ghz dualcore) along with 2gb of ram.So performance is supossed to be surprising.the super LCD3 4.7 inches screen has a resolution of
1080 x 1920 pixels(~469 ppi pixel
density) which makes blurry shots look fantastic

It's a great phone, but should of waited a bit for it's successor which is coming out by March/April most likely. Other than that, you'll be pleased with it. Fantastic build quality and specs overall.

Just got the phone in, it is very sexy and sleek. But I am dissapointed.
It has a clean ESN but when I tried to activate the phone online, they told me that the phone was still tied to another account.
Anything I can do guys?

Contact the seller and ask them to release the phone from the account.
The guy you purchased it from has to activate another phone on that line and it will release the HTC one. That's all you can do for now.

Yeah long story short, I can't contact the guy because I bought this phone off eBay, of a store called gazelle.
Are there any guides to flash to cricket or boost? I've been trying till find some, but I can't find any

Try calling sprint to activate it or contact the store and return it for a replacement or see if they can get it de-activated for you

Also new to HTC One
Introducing myself. I'm also new to the HTC One. Previously had an HTC Evo Design 4G. I'm finding a few things which disappoint me.
1. That home screen. I don't want that feed thing on it, but it is apparently part of the OS. The only way I've found to not see it is to designate one of the other screens as my home screen. I can't actually get rid of it.
2. I just discovered that the HTC Hub soundsets aren't on this phone, and I don't find a way to go to the Hub to get them. I went over to the Evo forum here and downloaded them. I'll hook my phone up to the computer and put them in the appropriate folders.
3. Regarding the sounds, it doesn't appear that I can have different notification sounds for different messages. On the Evo, I had one sound for email, another for text messages, a third for calendar notifications, and a fourth for other notifications. I could tell by the sound if it was something I should look at immediately (text messages), something which could wait (emails), or someplace I was supposed to be (calendar notifications). So unless I there's somewhere in each individual app to customize the sounds, I'll have to either look at everything that comes in or ignore them all until I have time to go through them.
If any of you have any input on how to get the phone to do what I want (i.e. go to HTC Hub for stuff or set up individual notification sounds), let me know. I haven't finished exploring my new phone, so it might give me some pleasant surprises sometime soon.

Hello ,
1. There are a couple custom roms that disable blinkfeed, TranquilOne is one of those roms, or use a different launcher like Apex,Nova, ect.
2. I don't use MyHub so I can't comment on that
3. I'm pretty sure notifications can be separated with different sounds...or maybe just on custom roms. You may have to go into setting of each app and set the sound you want

I'll take a look at TranquilOne.
Back on the Evo, I could select a Sound Scheme and a set of sounds would be applied to several different types of notifications. On the ONE, I had to individually apply each sound to each type of notification. Doable, but a PITA after being used to the Sound Schemes on the Evo.
