I have remade the ROM using a 2.3 Sense ROM and CM7, it doesn't boot, or actually flash for that matter I'm uploading now, any help is appreciated, hopefully this time booting maybe something we can get to work
It is currently not booting , but i would like help from you people to get this ROM Booting
Any help/suggestions are welcome, if you would like to play with it yourself feel free to, I was gonna do this as a little project for myself, but since i can't do it a community project would be good
If you try it and get errors or it doesn't boot a logcat would be really nice so we can try fix the problems
QuBe2's port doesn't boot, but it does more than mine did, any help would be great

hmm we have the same but a real sense port ...
it is based on CM7 but we wont get it booting cause the Rom is too big to get it work

I have the system extracted, and if anyone wants it i can maybe make it into a zip and make an updater-script for it

Hmm use a other rom as base from wilfire
There is a 101 mb custom rom as original sense rom download it and port it ...
And you must also customzid cm7 kernel to get it boot

Hey all. Since Eugene's Froyo Roms support bootanimations.zip, let the bootanimation mods begin.
The one i am using now, is R2D2, ripped from a Droid2 in this link:

Oh good, so I wasn't the only one! I have the same issue. I've never flashed a theme before, thought I had messed it up.
And I'm stuck in a boot animation loop.
Hyperdroid 2.1 CM7 Tytung R10
At least the boot animation looks great!
I am very sorry for everyone experiencing boot loops. For now let us just say that it is only compatible with tytung's AOSP build

The theme on my rom IS the theme here-no need to flash this one. If you look at the OP it says that this theme is only for Tytung's build. Sorry for the confusion!

First wipe cache to be safe. Then go into CWM recovery then select install zip from sd card->choose zip from sd then reboot and enjoy.

Seems to be based on CM7 (look at the screenshots).
I would love if you cant make this "port" using AOSP 2.3.7 by miroslav as base or at least make an update.zip to "apply"/install sounds, launcher, set permissions, etc.
I will try to add manually the SIII features (launcher, fonts, sounds, etc) to AOSP (to my current installed rom)

Or you can just look at the porting methods.. like diffing, adding missing lines to smalis.. etc. etc.. Youre gonna learn with trial-error(thats how I did)

Is like a direct port by changing few stuff around (Cooked Rom For Lunch)

Just flashed this but I got a black screen. Although I'm pretty sure the ROM installed fine otherwise because the hardware buttons lit up when touched.

Got the same black screen....pretty sure rom boots cuz i get crt off effect when i press power button but cant see anything

OK, I fixed ROM boot and instead of download link there's link to goo.im folder now. 20121208_r2 is being uploaded.

You have to flash gapps. It is in instructions btw

for me, this rom its top 5 for CM7 rom.. no offence.. using over a week with cronmod script... just like OP said, AceROM "ROM Almost Perfect"... highly recommended... @Cosmic181, hope u not stop developed this rom...

I like to try but I don't have the ace L anymore but anyways I will like to update my eXperiaMe for ace L and
Have a tester cause I already have it and upload it but I don't know what's working and what's not and someone can port this ROM and about that acerom aleeexxhh too doesnt have the device anymore.
