[Q] [KERNEL] Gingerbread - JVK with Advanced routing

Can anbody build a kernel with CONFIG_IP_ADVANCED_ROUTER=y and tuneling for jvk kernel or any other kernel for SGS ?

without sources how should that work

Supercurio's Kernel vs CF-Root for XWJVH

Hi,
I am using Galaxy S Gingerbread XWJVH. I want to root my phone and change RFS for ext4.
Which Kernel do you prefer:
Supercurio's Kernel for Gingerbread

CF-Root It is easy to work with and you get few nice apps with it

I've tried quite a few Gingerbread kernels, and keep coming back to the Supercurio one. I've never had any problems, and the UI feels a touch more responsive on the phone compared to some other kernels. It could be my imagination, though

I've used both but prefer Supercurio Kernel's because for me is the best in terms of battery

[Q] voodoo lagfix problem I9000

Currently using Ryuu's EDB rom with Talon 0.4.1 kernel.
For some reason, I cannot DISABLE lagfix.
both CWM and Voodoo Control Plus
changing kernel with voodoo lagfix nor ROM with voodoo lagfix is no problem.
However, i also want to to try other rom using Hardcore SpeedMod

I don't understand the question, if there was one...you stated changing rom or kernel is no problem and than say you want to try another rom using speedmod kernel.......? :/

my concern is that speedMod is not voodoo EXT-4 based, i think it is with another type, which uses "EXT4 tool" to covert the lagfix

I believe ext-4 is ext-4....it doesn't differ...

thanks for your reply, i did update a new ROM with with different kernel. and after which i flashed talon 0.4.1 and no problem encountered!

Kernel question

Hello !
I have JW4 and today downloaded and installed Voodoo kernel but don't like it cause it does not support Voodoo sound or even Nstools. If I via Odin install Semaphore kernel would I need to install JW4 again or just go to PDA and install the kernel from there ? Thanking you !

No you just have to flash Semaphore via Odin without reinstall all rom (put file in PDA).

You need to flash the kernel only

Try using devil/glitch kernel.

for i9000 use semaphore ics kernel

Semaphore 1.2.3s... stratosk implemented some parts of linaro with toolchain..... he owned it...amazingly fast kernel

There is only TEST version of 1.2.3 Semaphore Kernel.
Use it at ur own risk.

U can use s vrrsion if u have f4k patch ....
sgs i9000 = god

I am also using RemICS rom 1.1
i flashed kernel script cleaner and then Semaphore 1.2.3 (without s)

i flashed 1.2.3 ....... its amazing
great game performance . great benchmark . really smouth
but i want to reflash it after the kernel cleaner script .(in case there's some mixed up stuff) . can you guys please give me a link to the kernel cleaning script ?
