Where can I buy masks(covers) for my Tattoo?
Any idea?
Hard to find
Tattoo is quite an old and not a very popular phone. It is quite difficult to find accessories for it. You may still try ebay.

Hi there,
Its a kinda strange way to start off in a forum but im looking for broken Touch Diamond, as we want to surprise one of our friends on his birthday
Of course i am willing to pay a few bucks for it, the only thing which is important is that i need a genuine Diamond from HTC without the branding including the backcover, the actual state doesnt matter even if youve driven your hummer over it.
if one of you could help me out with a broken device or some hints where to get one i would be really grateful!
Hey everyone,
I got my Tilt in April and at that time AT&T did not offer phone inssurance for it. The far right side of my mini-usb port is bent a little and this makes it a bit picky about charging and syncing. AT&T said it voided my warranty and that they couldn't do anything and told me to call HTC and they said I would have to replace my WHOLE MOTHERBOARD. They also said it would cost $305 to replace the whole thing.
My question: is there anything I can do about this myself? I am so concerned because I would like to sell this to a friend but get the port fixed if possible. Is there any other way to get AT&T to get me a new tilt or fix "something else wrong with it"? I can still sell it to my friend but I could get a bit more for it if this was fixed.
Thank you for any help.
You can fix this yourself by installing a new mini plug, they are fairly cheap, there is a few threads that have discussed how to do this yourself , if you do not mind taking apart your tilt...
Check the Wiki out as well
Or maybe I could have just been rude and told you to search just like you did to another user earlier...hmmmm
That was a fairly obvious question. I have not been able to find any specific threads about this for the kaiser. Also did not find it in the wiki. But it would be easy to over look seeing as I must type all this from my phone because my computer is dead at the moment. I will look tomorrow at school.
put in mini plug in this forums search , there are a couple of threads with decent info in them.. one of them has a link to taking the kaiser apart, and also has a link to a place the has the mini plug for $15 and also will says they will install it for $79....not bad if you do not have the skills..
PPC Techs are the ones offering the service

Since my soldering skills suck, this is what I would do...
Hi, this is my first post but I have been following this forum frequently. I want to say thanks in advance for any advice.
I dropped my X1 (a couple of times) and there is a lot of aesthetic damage. So, I was wondering a few things:
1. Can I purchase replacement parts; just the parts that are damaged?
2. If I can purchase replacement parts, can I purchase black parts? I currently have the silver X1 that I purchased from Best Buy and I wanted the black version. I figured if I am going to replace parts, I might be able to replace them with a black "body kit" maybe?
3. Is there a tutorial on this website (I've tried searching but I couldn't find anything) of how to replace the parts?
Once again, I want to say that I tried searching but I couldn't find anything (I hope I don't get yelled at for asking such a dumb question as my first post) and thanks.

Welcome to the posting brotherhood .
It really depends how good you are with electronics. If you fell confident enough to do the repairs yourself, then by all means, try it. Otherwise, purchase the parts and go to o a professional repair shop.

Thanks for the help, the videos definitely makes things easier. I'll post pics as soon as I begin to show the damage and then I'll take pics throughout the repair so I can post them.

I fairly confident that I can finish this myself and if I can't I refer to this forum; after all, this is a brotherhood, right?
Is this a Origanal SE Housing kit ??
--edit--
ok i bought it and gonna give it a try. this would be mine fourth full case changing on phones.
hey, does anyone know where I can get the European (not UK) prongs for the OEM HTC adapter? I don't need the whole adapter, just the part that slides in and out. I'd prefer a US located business, but if anyone can provide a link to where I can buy this, that would be awesome.

I have not done a search for these, so I do not know if they are available, but my suggestion is just buy a standard USB plug charger with the pins you want, it will probably be easier to find in the US and a lot cheaper than a HTC plug.
Same voltage.
Amazon do them, but you can probably find cheaper elsewhere.

Yeah, that's what I'll do if I can't find what I'm looking for but I'd much rather prefer the interchangeable route.
You could try one like this..

It can be used worldwide, and as spare at home
Thanks everyone for all the helpful suggestions, but I'm really just looking for that specific part. I already have lots of alternatives if I'm unable to find it.
When I saw the plug that came with the HD2 I thought it was a great idea - the same adapter for everyone, and just swappable pins. Was a little disappointed there was no euro/US pins also in the box - that would have added, what, 5p maybe to the price?
Even more disappointing if they don't sell just the pin parts separately.
Only solution I know is to get the official htc travel pack you can find it here.
The eu plug will be inside there. Of course also the us and australian and a case and a charger and cable as well. In my opnion a bit overpriced. But the only solution I know.

item in post #4 above is cheaper, does the same job, and I am sure you could get a set on ebay even cheaper.

the item above is exactly what I'm looking for. I don't think you're understanding that the point I'm trying to make is that I don't want the whole charger but just to find the prongs that slide in and out. Yes, you're right that the OEM knock-offs will do the job, and are much cheaper, but that's not what I asked for.
With that said, I'm certainly not paying the price they are asking for the travel kit. I may be picky but I'm not as stupid as HTC seems to think their customers are.
I am also looking for this "HTC EU Plug for TC P300 International Travel Charger" (this was the description that I came up with)..
Thanks to czacha234 I found the plug adapter!

I called the USA branch of expansys and they ordered it for me. It was $8.99. Kinda spendy but way better than the 40+ that people are charging for the whole kit.

I'm sure this is a long shot, but here goes... Does anyone have a dead nexus one they are looking to sell? I need the mobo from one of them. PM me if you have, or know of one.
I'm pretty sure I saw a few broken Nexus Ones for sale on eBay, try that out.
I looked on ebay, didnt see anything great on there.
