Anyone have experience with this case? I'm currently using the Active by Seidio, and its great but I would like more bulk when hiking and less bulk at home, which makes the Convert seem like the best choice with its 2in1 design. Any opinions or other recommendations?

What is the big deal with these? 50 bucks for a case.

In my experience with various phones and cases as well, no case protects like the otterbox. It adds a considerable amount of bulk, but it's well worth it. One of my friends will confidently throw his blackberry across the room (not saying it's a good idea for us, but just demonstrating) into a concrete wall without hesitation. It also gives the phone a better feel in my opinion. The silicone they use grips, yet is still pocket friendly in that it won't grip like cheap flimsy cases.
I, personally, plan on getting the Defender series.
As stated above the quality of their cases is fantastic. A lot of sales have to be built on confidence of past buyers because the price isn't always cheap but the product is worth it.
I've used their cases in the past and I'm glad to see they'll be supplying the Incredible as well.
I'll most likely be going with the Commuter because as much as I like protection I don't want to add to much bulk.

I have been waiting for this case since phone dropped. I ended up going with seidio rugged case and if you look on Amazon you can find it for $30
Had an Otterbox for my Eris, liked it...got the Incredible last week and got my Seidio rugged case (w/innocase II combo) this week and absolutely love it. Regular and rugged case, all part of the same!

seidio and otterbox are all i'll put on my phone. they make the best cases available. you get what you pay for.
Now we just need to wait another 3 months for them to actually go on sale.
Otterbox... when you're just that damn clumsy
I miss my otterbox case for my D Eris.
I just got my seidio innocase rugged and like it a lot but its not like the otterbox cases I have had. Hurry up Otterbox!

I'm struggling with the fact that they released a case for the LG Ally before the Incredible.

Just ordered mine!
I'm between the commuter and the defender. Can't decide.
is commuter easy to come off.. only had a defender prior
Check the pdf on the webpage. It shows the parts of the commuter. Looks like a silicone wrap and a hard polycarbonate shell. Should be much easier to remove than the defender.

Just ordered the commuter. I like that the commuter has the silicone between the hard shell and the phone. The defender is backwards. The hard plastic and the the silicone wraps over it.
Got the commuter.
Due to the Otterbox Defender case being $30 from ebay-- which is out of my budget right now. Can anyone mention alternatives to this case which defends nearly or somewhat as good as the Otterbox?
I think there is none!!! otter box is the best!!!

$30 is an AMAZING deal for an OBD. But, if you want alternatives, at the cost of style (imo) try Tridentcases.com. Similar in protection and have colors. Also cheaper (but I find them bulky looking and ugly)
Would you guys say the Defender Case--- adds too much bulk to the phone ?? Or is it still decent enough not to bother you while in your pocket ?
I don't even think the OBD is supposed to be in your pocket lol. You should try the otterbox commuter case.

Have you heard of Trident cases? They make amazing cases.

Thanks guys. However "Tridentcases.com" does not offer cases for the HTC HD2. So finally im contemplating between the Otterbox Defender vs. Commuter. I just really like the --built in-- front screen protecter in the Defender case more.
I've got a pretty slim case, it's the incipio MT-141 SILICRYLIC... I'd post a link but apparently im too new.
Any chance i could use the HD Dock without taking it out of the case? The case is a pain in the ass to get on/off so this is kind of a dealbreaker on whether or not to get the dock....

It fits even with the extended battery and heavy-duty shell / holster case. (which I have) There is an insert in the dock that you can take out to accommodate cases.
Score!

Hold on, this case fits extended battery? (Smart) Only comes in ugly whit/grey (stupid) and covers LED notification (stupid again )

The hard case holster combo from verizon fits over the extended battery cover. The whole thing (minus the holster ) fits in the HD dock.

Looking at what is currently available and in development for the GN2, I'm wondering which of the premium protective "shock/drop absorbing" cases do you most prefer and why? The cases I feel best fit this category are (no particular order):
• Trident Aegis (Kraken won't be developed)
• Seidio Active
• Ballistic Shell Gel
• Otterbox Commuter
• Otterbox Defender
What Say You? Which do you prefer and why? If you already have one or experience with them for other devices, then please also share the info.

I'd probably go with a SGP screen protector and go with the Ballistic Shell Gel, Trident Aegis, or Otterbox Commuter. I don't think the Defender will be a great fit especially if you love having a smooth surface for the S-Pen. Seido's known for a loose fit and the metal concerns me. I love ballistic's drop protection (corners and lay flat). I've heard good things about trident cases and I'm gonna give them a shot. Otterbox has lived off its name these couple of years and has regressed in function and quality. For Now, I hope one of these inexpensive ebay/amazon cases do the job until I get a permanent case.
I've only ever owned an Otterbox Defender of all the tough cases. It was for my old evo 3d but I fully believed in it. It makes even tiny phones giant monsters so I can't imagine what it would do to out phone.
My friends thought it was huge too so to show them that it was worth putting my phone in for the hike we were on one day I literally tossed it down the trail downhill and showed them my phone was perfectly fine.

Does anyone have any impressions of this case, or other cases by this company? Build quality? Thinness?
I am quite happy with this case. Don't get me wrong, it is the same case, sold by various companies from the same Chinese manufacturer, but it is very light, thin, and looks quite good. Can't be beat for the money. I liked so much, that I ordered the same basic case for both my Nexus 7 and my Galaxy Note 10.1
It adds very little heft to the tablet, and holds the tablet very securely

The pictures aren't very clear. Can someone comment if the cameras and speakers are getting covered (obstructed) or not?
They are not! Great case
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
It's a simple case, doesn't obstruct anything. It has 2 levels of stand and I would recommend it if you think you are going to drop and scratch your brand new N10 like I did...
Awesome. I ordered one yesterday with one day shipping. Need it for travelling this Christmas.
Mine doesn't seem to grip the tablet on the two bottom holders.
Anyone else ? A little hard to get on too.
Anyone able to post a video review? Please and thanks!

This looks just like the Poetic case that I got.
If my case didn't actually have "Poetic" branded into the case, I'd think it was all the same company with 1 item under different names.
I have it. Its perfect.. None of the ports (including pogo) are blocked. Does not add any bulk. Has a convenient strap into which you can slide your palm when case is open, allowing single handed operation. Wake/sleep works as advertised. Very easy to convert into stand

I bought itand it makes the tablet that much better, the tablet does slip out if the grooves a little but it hasnt bothered me at all. I just put it back in without even thinking about it. the material feels good in my hands too. Does a great job protecting the tab.
Owned this case for my OG Transformer, got it again for my Transformer Pad, and am buying it again for my new Nexus 10. Love this case.
