How can i open recovery mode ?

i have the lg optimus black and i just rooted it but i dont know how to get in the recovery mode somebody can help me ?

Try downloading Rom manager from the market and then choose to rebbot in recovery mode

Download rom manager free, go in" install recovery", the app flash then the recovery partition for you,,

I have other question. I installed cwm and flashed some rom but now I am stuck on bootanimation bootloop because something went wrong. How can I go to recovery now to fix it?

Whats some rom? Be more precise please. You ll always be able to unbrick it using smartflash. But maybe you should simply use an unrooted rom... just use b2c tool and the option emergency recovery. And then first read, what you have to do, what it does and which kind of results you will be confronted with, then try again.
Dont mean to flame, but it seems you already did it wrong twice...

have you already tried using G-recovery?
I think you can do it in Marvel ROM, you just have to start pressing for a few times the G button while booting

Help ! Installation of flash cyanogenmod failed

i followed all instructions of the cda developers site ...after i rebooted my phone the logo appears but after it its just a black screen....the phone doesnt start? can anybody help me? i tried to flash again but it wouldnt help...i tried cm10...is my phone useless know?

Which phone do you have? Can you go into recovery/download mode?

my phone is samsung galaxy s plus and yes i CAN go into recovery mode

thx i will try it but can you tell me where i went wrong? is it because i didnt delete kies on my windowspc? or anything special bec i would like to have ics on my phone...do you recommend cm9 instead of 10 because it didnt worked on my sgsplus or do you recommend me to try again...carefully of course ?

First of all, chill everything is gonna be fine...
Second, please tell us which version of CM10 did you installed and how did you installed it (did you wipe data/cache/dalvik).
Third, if you have a boot loop into recovery check this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24831012&postcount=1330
If your phone doesn't have a bootloop into recovery try a full wipe again and flash CM10 again.
If you want to go back to stock to 2.3.6 go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 scroll down, choose your phone model/OS/country than use this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922505:good:.

thx though zou helped me a lot...now cm9 is working fine on my sgs plus...does cm10 works too im wondering bec i tried and it stocked after rebooting it

no i did all the steps wiping and deleting the data im pretty sure...cm9 is as i already said working fine....do you recommend to try to flash cm10 again on my phone bec im afraid to brick my phone...used the one of the xdaforum 2012-11-22: CM10 alpha4

THX but ONE QUESTION?! does cm10 alpha 5 works without any problems? i mean can you go into youre mobile internet when youre outside? bec my phone with alpha 5 cm10 by ivendor does not work....:s i decided to flash the older alpha 4 until i found out the reason why it doesnt function...any guesses? =)

OK FOUND THE FIX ZIP ALREADY O XDA DDDDDD
ONE LAST THING : the vibration of the back and menu button is for me to hard....i found out that on my sgs plzs cm10 alpha 5 in settings-advanced there is NO VIBRATION setting in there, on my friends one there were several more options to choose!
is it maybe bec i flashed my phone with an older cwmrecovery?i think its 5.0 blabla...do i have to flash it again with the newer once 6.blabla?

Phone stuck at LG logo startup after deodex attempt

Hi Guys,
I have a problem after flashing the deodex through cwm. (trying for camera mod..) I flashed a V10F file while being on a V10H firmware..
Everything went well but now my phone is stuck at LG logo boot!
Please help me on what i can do!

You can flash the original Firmware through KDZ Flash. Just google it

Ohhh! that did it! thanks very much! it's back to normal!
Though how come all my apps are still intact? i thought it would reformat my internal sd while flashing..

Which rom/kernel ? Did you pressed "Full wipe/Factory Reset" before installation ?

Which custom ROM?
Which kernel?
Which recovery?

Hey everyone , i could really need some help
I have a samsung Note 5 SM-N920P i rooted the device and everything went smoothly but after a week the phone reboots and got stuck on a bootloop i flashed a 5.1 and 6.0 , 7.0 ROMs but nothing works it's been 10 days since this happens and now ANY RECOVERY! custom or stock , every time i boot into recovery it freezes after 10 seconds
Does anyone plz knows how to fix this

Flash a different boot.img.

What do u mean by different boot.img. , like different rom or extracting the boot.img from the rom and flash it ?

There's usually different boot.img in Stock firmware and other devs usually create their own and put them on here for others... Try using a different one.

But have u tried to flash a new recovery thru odin yet? Maybe a updated twrp?.

Yes , i have tried to flash TWRP recovery from every version available same issue , and the stock recovery also freezes
I don't know what to do at this point , do u think it's a hardware problem that causing this ?

Flash an up to date Rom form sammobile and reboot to recovery (original) and clear data and cache then reboot

Try downloading pit file for ur exact model and flash it with ur Rom..
