Billa 2 teaser sets records
Published in Times of India dated April 15,2012
The teaser of Ajith's upcoming flick Billa 2 has taken Youtube by a storm.
The teaser has been trending right from the moment it appeared on Youtube and it is on its way to create a record of sorts as far as Tamil films are concerned. The official teaser has received over 4 million views since April 13, when it was first unveiled, with the comments space being filled with hundreds of pages of comments.
Billa 2, the prequel to Ajith's superhit Billa (a remake of the Rajinikanth starrer of the same name which itself was a remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Don), tells the story of how David, an ordinary man became the much-feared international don Billa. The film stars Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah as the leading ladies and Vidyut Jamwal (of Force fame) as the antagonist.
Stars about Ajith

If u ask me to choose a Tamil Actor to remake my scripts only he can do - Aamir Khan
His backbone is operated 13 times but its neven bend before anyone - Vairamuthu

Two men in India never lost a single fan even if they fail to succeed&dey are Ajith and Ganguly - Kris Srikanth Ks
so, I'm guessing shahrukh khan's not in this movie? Lol joking

Surely no doubt but its much better than DON II
Yuvan Shankar Raja Dances in Billa II
Thala’s fans went berserk when Billa 2 teaser was released. The latest buzz is that music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has danced for a song in Billa 2.
He did it for Ajith and the number will be a real treat to Yuvan’s fans. The postproduction on full swing. Cinematographer Rajasekar is working hard to set a unique colour tones to the film as the script travels through different shades in Billa’s life.
Director of photography R.D. Rajasekar says, “Ajith provided whatever the script demanded. I am currently working on base light software to enhance the colour of the film.
The amazing part of the film was Yuvan’s rocking songs.” When asked if Yuvan has danced for a song, he says, “Yuvan has danced in one of the songs. He has appeared and shaken his leg for a part of a song. He did it with his own inimitable style.”
++ Ajith's 'Billa 2' takes social media by storm++
New Delhi: Fans of actor Ajith seem to be waiting for the his next, 'Billa 2', with bated breath. In just 24 hours, the teaser got a record 3,82,338 hits on YouTube. The title was also trending on social networking site Twitter for quite a while.
The prequel to 'Billa' (2007), directed by Chakri Toleti, 'Billa 2', is said to be about the birth and early life of the don and has Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah playing the lead roles.
After being postponed a couple of times, the film is now tentatively slated for release on May 25.
Looks like Kollywood filmmakers have understood the impact of social media, following the popularity and success of Dhanush's song 'Kolaveri di', and are now hoping to promote their movies using networking sites well before the release.

Good evening peeps, on a few of my other forums I know I like to sit and talk abut the movies that come out, typically because friends and myself alwatys goto midnight showings because, well, it's way more fun and i'd like to start it here with what was the BEST movie of the summer, year, or decade for all i care lol.
The Dark Knight, the new batman movie, was amazing IMO....best movie i've seen in SO long. it was really long whicih only helped the situation, finally a movie that can have everything take place without skipping around to speedin things up. it was in my opinion by far a great movie and definitely a 10/10 + everyone should see it. christian bale was great, and heath ledger played the joker flawlessly IMHO.
We went to the midnight showing at Emagine Theatre in Novi, Michigan and they sold out 9 theatres for midnight showing..
just amazing...what do u guys think? can't wait for the next....the penguin? or mr. freeze w/ Arnold lol ;-)

errrrr...Why So Serious?
I saw it opening night. It is one of, if not the most, amazing movies I have ever seen. It's has action, comedy, whit (and a lot of it, a lot of people probably won't understand much of the meaning), and it's also a bit dark, which made this movie really good. Go see it!!!
Im in Italy, still DarkNight not in theatres
... but i think i will NOT go to first plays: too much crowd. Maybe i'll wait 1-2 week, then go with dochinka maya
Good movie...was it the best action movie ever? No. It was too long in my opinon but Heath Ledger did the Joker justice and made old Jack's take just laughable. All I kept thinking while watching it was, "when is Joker going to show up again?".
Yeah, the Joker was nice and creepy. Only thing i couldn't get was batmans scream/speaking. it always threw me off. 9/10...
ace film joker didnt bother me at all!!!! good old jack was better i feel. but harvey two face totaly stole the show for me!!!! was such a good film after gettting 13 forgian language students kicked out for talking and playing with phones still the best film since last bond.

Jack's role in Batman w/ Keaton was good
But you have to understand that "The Dark Knight" is based entirelt off the DC comics. The original Batman Movies, while taking elements of the DC comics, still were in a League of there own. You can see the differences in the Characters as well as the story line. 2-Face in the origianal Batman story was burned by Sulfyric Acid during a trial, as in the new one it was a gas burn after the explosion
Heath's role as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" is based off the comic " The Killing Joke". If you read the comic you will see that Heath nailed the role 10/10 and thats why its a shame he died because he deserve all the credit for playing such an amazing role. You can see that he plays the role from this comic because of "wanna know how I got these scars?" In the comic, everytime he said that he had a different story each time.
Jack's role as Joker in The first Batman movie w/ Keaton was also perfect if you compare the character to the conventional Joker.
I think both Jokers were played perfectly but they're hard to compare because they're based off of different Jokers.
All in all the movie was great, except for when Christian Bale talked as Batman, talk about annoying. Nobody did it better then Michael Keaton, but nobody has done it worse the George Clooney LOL
in the terms of l33t american teenagers
the movie was "the -

Heath carried the movie alot for me
and not just because he died
because he was less silly then the old series or the old movie
more dark like the new movies
and i only felt i could recognize him in few shots in the movie
and thats a point for acting i guess

i know it has been based on that but i felt it wasnt right for me. plus i felt being a 12 a in the uk was stupid children for any age under 18 maybe get away with a 15 should not be seeing people make pencils vanish using some ones face.
dont get me wrong i loved the film will be going to see it again but i prefure my nutters to almost be normal and have a sens of humility in them so when they do the really nasty stuff its alot more shocking. for instance it would be alot more of a shock if say g w bush let lose on a crowd with an uzi than some nut job (oh w8 g w bush is a nutter ok say brad pitt)
Amazing.

Details:
Directed by The Purchase Brothers.
The Escape From City 17 short film series is an adaptation based on the Half Life computer game saga by Valve Corporation. Originally envisioned as a project to test out numerous post production techniques, as well as a spec commercial, it ballooned into a multi part series. Filmed guerilla style with no money, no time, no crew, no script, the first two episodes were made from beginning to end on a budget of $500.
Additional Notes:
Valve flew the team out to Seattle last year, and the brothers have been in communication with them since.
Derek Chan, and Ian Purchase are the two resistance fighters.
David and Ian Purchase are commercial directors represented by Sons and Daughters in Toronto. They are working on an unannounced feature film. Not HL related.
They have been huge fans of HL since the days of "ivan the space biker'

Indeed, a new game is in the works but this is purely a fan-made production. They sent this to Valve without prior notice and have been working with Valve since. Amazing usage of CG and even home-made outfits. The used to Valve/Source SDK and abused it.
One of the best CG creations I have ever seen other than the Elephants Dream 9 minute short made overseas all open source. (HL 2 thing isn't open source but check out Elephants Dream)

I see what you did there. On topic, i don't have enough time to write down a list, because there are so many.
Buy my Top 6 would be:

3 Steins;Gate
4 Toradora
5 Higashi no Eden
6 Saki
Been into anime for the last 15 years and seen countless series come and go, some are still going strong. Do not consider myself an otaku, though. I don't spend money on it.
I don't have a list of favorites. That would be silly. Anime is a "use then discard" type of product for me, like movies and live action series. One thing though, One Piece IS FOREVER!!!1 As a perfectly healthy individual in his prime years, I hope I get to live long enough to see the ending.
my neighbor Totoro is the best and BYOSOKU 5 SENCHIMETORU
1. Galaxy 999
2. Star Blazers
3. Ranma 1/2
4. Elfin Leid
5. Trigun
6. Space Pirate: Captain Harlock
7. Bleach
8. Ghost in the Shell
9. Princess Mononoke
10. Attack on titans
Naroto, One-piece, Bleach. Game Over
I'm definitely not an otaku, just watches some anime, not much. Here are my favs:
1. Fullmetal Alchemist
2. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
3. [A bit... No a LOT of flamebait here] either Code Geass or Guilty Crown xD I like both
4. One Piece (the manga though... The anime is meh)
5. Nisekoi
6. El Psy Congroo

I just saw the movie "12 and Holding" the other day. It is directed by Michael Cuesta, an American film & tv director. It is doubtless one of the best movies I have ever seen and provides great insight into the lives of 3 adolescents who have been devastated by the murder of a good friend and brother to one.
After the murder of his twin brother, Rudy, by two vengeful bullies, Jacob Carges & his two best friends Maylee Chuang & Leonard Fisher each must learn to deal with Rudy's death. Maylee develops a crush on one of her psychiatrist mother's patients. Leonard, an overweight boy, decides to lose weight to the disdain of his obese mother. And Jacob must learn to cope with his now-fighting parents & his own desire for revenge.
The movie has a shocking ending that I won't describe here as I don't want to spoil it.
Here are the link to it on IMDb & Wikipedia
It is available on iTunes and I would HUGELY recommend it to anyone. The movie is incredibly touching & Michael Cuesta did an amazing job, especially with it being only his 2nd production.
I've attached both the movie poster & the DVD cover as well.
Sector 9... nice idea...
