HI team,
I had the ICS installed using AOKP build 31. I had issues with the SD card not reading and majorly that i did not find the file explorer option on the phone. I kept searching for that option and could not find it anywhere. Later thought of downgrading to Humber OS's version on ICS. On bot the times i had it flashed with teh same Kernel from Humber OS. The second time i used Gapps thats little older hoping for file explorer. Once i installed the other ICS, the phone just hung and not responding at all.
Can somebody help? Do we call this bricking?
WHere Does it freeze? on the GalaxyTab screen or on the Boot Animation Screen?
Have you done Factory Reset Wipe and Cache data wipe? The solution may be as simple as doing it on CWM.
Note:
For the File explorer, HumBerOS' ICS also does not have File Explorer. You need to install Root Explorer to access your External SDCard, under emmc,
or under mnt/emmc folder in root. All these are written in each respective threads, if your read carefully you should've found it before you decided to change from AOKP to HumberOS.
Cheers.

Currently, the phone does not boot up at all. With the start button 'Samsung Galaxy tab' shows up and goes all dark on me. The lights on the soft touch comes up and dies off in some time. I am unable to get to recovery, but comes to the download screen. So i tried to use Odin to get back to overcome or stock but the PC does not recognize the phone anymore. I used Kies to get the drivers but im not sure of the battery level to run odin. Other problem is that im not sure if the batt is getting charged when plugged. So im stuck nowhere..
Does it sound like its bricked? Is there anything that i can do??

Here's what you should do to make sure that is charged leave it charging turned off for about 14 to 16 hours.
Then with odin flash stock.
Best of luck a couple of times mine did the same and I could recover like this.
Thank you so much. Ill try doing that today. Ill leave it for charging overnight. Should i use the samfirmware stock or can i just use the GB STOCK SAFE V5 from Overcome experience?
But its great to know that it will be alright and you have brought it back to normal.
Yes. It worked and im on Overcome experience. Thanks a lot
I m on stock gb and want to install aokp ics on my tab.Do i need to flash the overcome gb stock safe file and then flash the overcome kernel or should i directly flash the kernel and then the overcome rom?

Well if you want to go to overcome 4.10 you have to do just overcome kernel and then overcome Rom.
For AOKP ICS same thing but with the AOKP Rom.
Make sure that you are using a GTP1000 not P1000L/N.
You can run overcome and AOKP on those but you need diff kernels.
Best of luck.
Thanks a million, im back on overcome experience. I had the tab charged for the whole night, then went on with the procedure given at the overcome link. My tab woke up like a charm. Thank you so much for the assistance.
Now that i tasted a bit of ics just cant get over it. I would like to install aokp again. As per the forum i can load aokp with the kernel given at humeros site right. Can i try that? How will i get the file explorer once i have aokp installed? Aokp ics was a visual treat even though i managed to mess that up. Please help me on how to access my sd card when i flash aokp. Hiw to get my titanium back up run for restoring my apps? I did not find a market app also , can i just download it and run using apk file?
If you read aokp Sgt thread carefully
- the rom includes kernel for p1000
- you need to flash gapps to get Gmail and Google play
- external sdcard is now /mnt/emmc

I directly wanna get aokp ics on my tab which is on stock gb.In the aokp dev post it is written that sm1 coming from a stock/rfs rom should first follow the overcome guide and then the other steps.
Does it mean that for getting aokp i have to first flash overcome and then follow the steps to get aokp on the tab?
As there is no cwm recovery for the tab,is it possible to flash aokp via odin when i m on stock gb rom?
Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk
No, it is not possible via Odin now.
I finally was able to install aokp rom on my galaxy tab.
I wasn't able to find stock video player in this rom.Isn't it included? Also the app called galaxy tab settings force closes every time I open it.Is it a common problem?

Oh god, aokp ics from is heavenly. I had it installed from overcome. The gapps trouble vanished with re flashing after first boot. Now all my Google apps are back. I have titanium back up fired up and I'm all set. Along with the camera fix, this is the best and I'm at cloud... wow wow... I'm all amazed this ice cream sandwich is so yummy....
WIFI problem
hi guys
i have problem with wifi in AOKP.i have update the last kernel of humberos and i do anythink they told to do.But i cant connect to my wifi.
i test it without the simcard and it work perfectly but when i insert the simcard the wifi doesn't work anymore.

Ive got a stock 2.2? froyo captivate and did the new [Guide] How To flash Captivate ROMs from Stock by TRusselo and when i go into recovery i cant access external sd. I put the latest nightly and gapps on the root of sd card and for some reason I cant see it? I did a clean wipe and everything. Is there something wrong that I'm doing. I've mounted everything and still nothing.
Read the instructions again INTERNAL SD not EXTERNAL and you can access it, browse sdcard to /external_sd folder, it takes you to your external sd.
you mounted what? why? dont.
BUT YOU CANT FLASH FROM EXTERNAL SD!!!!
thats why the instructions say INTERAL SD
So instead of downloading through the browser.....I'd like to move the new nightly and gapps on internal memory with a pc transfer....where would i put it in? so that CWM can see it? Thxs man. I appreciate it. noober here. htc aria was a breeze to root and flash custom roms, I'm not use to this puppy.
ANYWHERE internal sd in the root, or any folder (except external_sd)
what browser are you using? the stock brower downloads to sdcard/downloads not sdcard/external_sd/*whatever*
if you downloaded with stock browser it should be there... not in root. unless you moved it after.
Thanks so much..... I found the files I needed but when I try to flash nightly it gives me this craziness....what's going on! Thxs for the help though.
edit: Did a factory one click by odin.
seems like an error with the zip file. try a nightly from a day or two before.
The build prop doesn't match the built asserts in the Zip, they have to match for it to flash... what ROM are you currently on?

that would make scene by the error. hmm he said he went to stock odin one click...
which odin one click?
Maybe he just did that...

So I did the one click to revert back to stock. Then I did a one click root and now have SU. 10 hours later and a freakin home made jig that I've made i'm still on 2.1 with root. Please for the love of God I'd like to install current nightly of cm7 and CWM. There are soooooo many ways I've read to install. Now from you pro's can you hook me up with some links or direction to get this going. I've literally killed my Saturday reading my a$$ off. Thanks guys for replying to my lame noobness.

Just clear ROM managers data and then flash the original Captivate CWM not MTD and the reboot into recovery... reinstall packages 2 times, and flash in CWM
Sent from my I897 using xda premium
Thanks for the fast reply. I bought ROM manager premium and will try it out. Install twice I guess to be on the safe side right? Thanks again. My wife hates my life right now being i've spent all day doing this. So i'm down to try anything on her cappy at this point.
Not "to be on the safe side"...the first time you choose reinstall packages in stock recovery it'll boot back into stock recovery, then reinstall packages again and it'll boot into cwm.
yeah thats a must do.
So i've cleared cache and selecting captivate recovery galaxy s 2.5.1.x booted into recovery ROM manger and did reinstall twice and got this.......I don't understand why i'm getting this.
Edit: I got it to work! I kept trying to go through the recovery from ROM manager after installing and it hung up a couple times. Then when selecting install packages with which I did it twice...it was in cwm 2.5.1.7. Installed nightly after full wipe a couple times and it boot looped. Then if I remember correctly I pulled battery booting into recovery, the 3 button way. it booted into Cwm 5.x.x.x. What the heck!!! That was a fun ride, why did it do this? Anyways, glad to join your guys community. you guys are awesome. Thanks buttons hit. changing first post and thread to.....solved.
When you flashed the nightly it contained a kernel with cwm 5 baked into it.
from what i have heard sometimes the cm install needs to be done twice.. too. i dunno dont mess with cm7
Sorry

Go in the Dev section (stickies) and get Odin KK4 without bootloaders. Flash it in download mode.
From there, Get Corn kernel, which you'll flash with Odin 1.85 and finally, you can get back to your ROM.

I got it when i rooted my tab.
I think root access is required for cwm btw...
now i rooted by super1rootclick.
and now i can access recovery mode.
that's mean cwn is not require anymore ?
You can always access recovery mode.
The stock 3e recovery.
But you want custom recovery, ClockWorkMod recovery being the only one for tab.
Flashing cf-root kernel will give you cwm.
But staying on froyo is not so good, with some having protected boot loader.
Why not just find overcome rom in dev thread and flash it.
You won't regret.

Thanks a lot for that link priyana! Now got a nice guide with pictures
The overcome guide works like a charm, used it on my GT-P1000. It's now running the AOKP ICS 4.0.4 build #36 nice and smooth.
After completing the full overcome guide you can simply flash the AOKP build with cwm.
Download this file:

Also download odin v1.7 (google it). Boot your tab in download mode (turn off tab, then hold power button and volume down button simultaneously)
open odin and select the above mentioned file as pda
connect your tab to your pc
start flashing
you will get a rooted tab with cwm installed
please thank me if you found this useful

Basically you need to try flashing gb stock safe package from overcome using Odin.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Hi Priyana,
Do you recommend I do the following but with gb stock safe ?
1) download overcome 4.0 kernel tar file and keep it in your PC
2) download aokp build 38 and gapps-ics from the link in aokp post. Put both on external SD card.
3) read the guide and jump to the part that guides you to flash overcome kernel.
Make sure Odin can see your tab and everything looks exactly like in the picture.
4) flash the overcome kernel and the tab will reboot. There will be a female robotic voice. Stimpz0r recommend no need to wait for finish. Just force power off the tab.
5) power up to recovery by pressing volume up and power button.
I find it a bit tricky sometimes, maybe the way I hold the button. But you will get there.
6) from cwm recovery, choose to install update from external SD card and browse to aokp zip file and install. Some message about checking bml/mtd and you see the tab reboot.
7) you may get a boot loop, it may not boot into recovery, or it may go direct back to recovery. If it does that it is normal.
First time coming from bml to mtd will do that.
Just flash aokp one more time.
You will notice the cwm is not the overcome one anymore. It looks similar but it is not. You will have to browse to internal SD card instead, because this recovery somehow calls your external SD as internal SD.
8) so flash aokp again, and when completed, flash gapps-ics
9) when completed just reboot and sit back and wait till it is done!
I see you came across my old post.
Yes, that should work. But download stimpz0r AOKP build 40.
The post was back when 38 was latest.
If the AOKP failed to flash, you need to go for entire gb stock safe though.
Go ahead try as per this AOKP install post and let me know if you have difficulty.

Great , I am out of the endless boots I was having and now have Gingerbread installed. Bit behind the times though my tab is functional and bit more snappy then the old Froyo. If you have any ideas on how to install Jellybean or any other roms you recommend for GT-P1000 I would really interested. Thanks again champion you have saved me alot of heartache.
Go for AOKP!
you have the instruction laid out here, nothing stopping you.
And if you are bored you can try cm10.
From now on the steps are the same.
Boot to cwm, wipe data, cache, and dalvik, and flash the rom and the gapps.
Please note gapps for ics is different from gapps for jb.
Btw, this is the many times I see cf-root way fails while overcome method works.
Thanks to team overcome we have such a reliable method to get cwm recovery.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
I have the rom and gapps from this link http://www.androidauthority.com/gal...-4-1-1-jelly-bean-cyanogenmod-10-cm10-106995/ but I don't think I have clockwork installed as my recovery looks stock. I'm not too sure on where to go from here asthus where I kind of got stuck last time.
You have the 9 steps I wrote.
From step 3 to 5,
At the end of step 5 you will have cwm.
Which one you didn't get?
The guide? I was referring to Overcome guide.
Jump here for the kernel and the guide:
Here is the kernel (tar format for Odin, zip isn't the one you want I guess)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27801159&postcount=8
and guide here
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7k...EyNS00Yzg5LWE0MTktYmYyMjA1MThmYzQz/edit?pli=1
So, open the guide:
3) read the guide and jump to the part that guides you to flash overcome kernel.
Make sure Odin can see your tab and everything looks exactly like in the picture.
4) flash the overcome kernel and the tab will reboot. There will be a female robotic voice. Stimpz0r recommend no need to wait for finish. Just force power off the tab.
5) power up to recovery by pressing volume up and power button.

Thanks I will give that at a go now but reading through the guide I forgot to flash the modem file. Am I able to do this seperately?
Don't worry.
The modem was for non mtd.
Once you flash AOKP and the mtd conversion takes place, all partitions are wiped out.
On second flash the rom is installed and jpz modem is included.
It will be just a file in /radio/modem.bin in MTD rom.
If you need to replace the modem in the future, just unpack a modem package and use root explorer to copy and paste the new modem file to overwrite the one there and reboot.

Fantastic From Froyo To JB !
So let me get this right, If I want to change Rom in the future.
All I need to do now is boot up CWM Recovery then Flash Rom And Gapps and if anything goes wrong Flash GB Stock Safe through Odin in Download mode.
Can I ask which Rom you are using/prefer ?
This JellyBean Rom looks good but is not as responsive as GB also I'm having difficulty rotating in home screen.
Thankyou for all the information you have provided me.
You did see me mention AOKP many times, right? that is my favourite.
AOKP and CM9 are ICS.
CM10 and Paranoidandroid 1.99 are JB.
Btw,
don't forget to flash gapps.
Yes, most rom for ICS/JB here are MTD rom, so just do the wipes and flash from cwm.

samsung galaxy tab p1000
running 2.3.3 stock firmware
rooted with doomslord kit
i am new to flashing an android
i have downloaded and decrypted a firmware from checkfus downloader
question:-
1. Is the overcome's stock safe v5 zip and the checkfus downloaded zip same???
Please reply asap.
Wholehearted thanks for your help
I think checkfus downloads are many. You can't compare. They differ even amongst each other.
Overcome stock safe zip is not just a rom.
It is a package containing Odin, drivers, and modem radios, as well as JQ1 stock rom.

When you say factory reset do you mean the "Factory data reset" under privacy? or did you successfully install the Safe-Stock-Rom from Overcome's website?
There is a complete guide to how go from stock rom to Overcome 4.1.0 here: http://www.teamovercome.net/p1000/?page_id=17
I successfully completed it the other day and works perfectly on my Galaxy Tab.

Hi SGTABHI,
You have heard wrongly. I am not a dev, just a busy body trying to help
Dimitrix points rightly to overcome guide.
The images there are broken, so go here instead
Go to

See the guy phlooke posted a cached copy of the overcome guide.
Download it, it is a .PNG graphic file.
Now, you don't need to go through the whole restocking. We only need an overcome kernel 4.0 so that you have cwm.
So,
1) download overcome 4.0 kernel tar file and keep it in your PC
2) download aokp build 38 and gapps-ics from the link in aokp post. Put both on external SD card.

Remember if anything go wrong you may have to restock to gb stock safe. But quite unlikely.
Good luck.

Thinking of flashing my Tab with CM9. Some questions though.
How easy will it be for me to revert from ICS straight back to Overcome? Can I just flash Overcome kernel again, then flash Overcome ROM?
Will that work?
Also quick question while we are here, how stable is ICS? Can it play 3D games like Fifa and Nova without crashing?

No, you will need to do repartition with the correct pit file to go back to GB. You will need to do it via odin or heimdell.
ICS now is quite stable for daily use. but some lags in some 3d games.

10 sec boot?? My tab takes 2-3 mins to boot: first 2 boot logos, then black screen(1.5 mins), then laggy boot animation (1 min). Is that normal? B#38

I found out a solution......use Bluetooth explorer by medieval soft....and install it on both android devices...the received and the sharing device....then open it's directory and it's done......
10 secs thing was written out of ecstasy..... but my tab takes no longer than 20 secs......
Priyana can you guide me about changing the default boot animation .....

As long as you installed AOKP SGT7 or CM9 correctly you shoul have root access.
1. Download Root Explorer from Google Play store if you don't have one yet.
2. Download the bootanimation zip file and rename it to bootanimation.zip
3. Using Root Explorer, go to /system/media folder. Change access to R/W by click the R/W button on the top.
4. Find and rename the original bootanimation.zip to origboot.zip.bak.
5. Move the new downloaded bootanimation.zip to /system/media

IN AOKP SGT7:
1.Go to System Settings > Rom Manager> Navigation Bar > tick Auto hide.
This only work if the games or apps actually support auto full screen.
2. On home screen, Add > Shortcut > System UI >Toggle NavBar
This will allow you to manually do hide NavBar/status bar for full screen.
3. Go to System Settings > Rom Manager > Power Menu Options > tick Show Navigation Toggle. When you want full screen, just long press power button, you will notice new Navigation Bar Controls toggles. Press the power toggle under there.

Hi guys. I have a I9000 and i want to install the CyanogenMod 9 on it. I`ve Already rooted my phone using the Unlock Root. However, I can`t go to the Clockworkmod recovery to install customs rooms. I tried to flash the CWM recovery using the Rom Manager app, but when i was installing, an error happened. I figured out that the problem is my kernel that is not compatible with the CWM. I know that i have to flash a compatible kernel using Odin, but which kernel should i flash??? My device is a Galaxy S I9000, 2.3.5 android, and 2.6.35.7-I9000XXJVT-CL617736 kernel. Already rooted. Please someone could help me??
Thank you so much
Don't use rom manager, use Odin to flash, CWM is bundled with rooted kernel (CF-root, Semaphore)

Hi, I have the same error problem, cf root was not bundled with my own root package. I flashed to gingerbread 2.3.6 xwjw1, I also tried rom manager to flash recovery and it was successful, but when I rebooted to recovery to backup my current rom it bootes to the android (3e) recovery. As I've discovered it seems rom manager is not compatible with the xwjw1 series. How do I get the correct cf root for xwjw1? Believe me I have tried google and am scared of the things I see since "jw1" is not behind any of the cf root packages I see. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

On xwjw1 you can Odin flash as PDA Semaphore 250 tar kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14481782
Untick re-partition before flashing.
After reboot you may need to install Superuser from Play Store.
That will give you root, CWM, gingerbread ready for CM9.1

Use Odin to flash (put .tar in PDA and uncheck repartition). You can flash Semaphore JVT 1.8.0 or CF-Root v4.3

Thanks Sunny men, but OT's advice worked, I can now boot to semaphore recovery and wipe etc.
Question though, if I now flash cm9.1 rom, will I be able to boot to recovery without the holding any button combinations. What I mean is can I boot to recovery from the shutdown menu or do I need an app for it?
Also is cm9.1 the best rom for my phone? any thots guys? Thanks again.

Yes, in CM 9.1 you can boot directly to recovery from the shutdown menu. CM 9.1 is very stable and fast, so try it. And when you flash CM9 for the first time, your galaxy will go into a bootloop. Then remove the battery, put it in, go to recovery with 3-button configuration and flash it again.

Thanks sin007, that is invaluable advice. Will do just that. thanks again.
Hi guys, thanks for all the help. I have flashed CM 9.1 successfully.
Everything works OK for now.
Also flashed gapps, CM 9.1 seems to be a great ROM.
I have a question though, the gapps I flashed seems to have only a few Google apps, play store and Google talk. The file size was 49mb so is that all that's in gapps or is there a hidden mode or something.
Also, sin007 I can't find any reboot to recovery from the shutdown menu, though I flashed a stable version of CM 9.1 and not a "nighty version". Could that be the reason? But no biggie, CM 9.1 comes with rom manager.
Finally I wouldn't mind any tips you guys have on making the most out of the ROM.
Thanks and all the best.
Shutdown menu - Reboot - Recovery
OK?
There is an APP on google play, sgs kernel flash, it is easier and faster than Odin. And works perfectly. I've flash the speedmod kernel and finally upgrade to cyanogenmod 9.1.
Anyone knows if this APP works on galaxy s2 (i9100)?
Thankss

Thanks xsenman, you're a lifesaver. Love all ur posts, really useful to have. Thanks again and also a big thanks to all who helped out.
Cheers everyone.
Today I tried to update my phone to a new custom rom.
I followed the instructions of the threads and tried to get it to work.
Of course it didn't work or else I wouldn't be here right now asking for help.
Here's the current situation.
I am able to boot into download mode + recovery mode and also boot into cwmr and install a different kernel.
I used pc odin to install it each time and it does pass and the rom (i've tried installing a gingerbread rom so that I can try everything again) does install.
the problem is that it is currently stuck in a boot loop at the "Samsung galaxy note gt-N7000" screen.
I have looked up dr.ketan's posts and tried some too.
currently i am booting abyss note kernel 42cwt touch original. (I know for sure it is a workable kernel because I've been using it this whole time.
here's what i've done. please tell me what i've done wrong and the possible ways to reverse it.
1. backed up everything
2. went into recovery
3. factory reset/cache clear
4. use pc odin to install new kernel (since I was looking into switching to another kernel anyways)
5. use pc odin again to install gingerbread rom (I do get the green light saying it did get installed
6. phone auto reboots
7. it gets stuck at the boot loop like i have mentioned above
i will try to attach a few pictures of my note as soon as I can so you can see what's going on with it.
What rom is there on the phone now ? if you boot into recovery .. what recovery do you get now ? CWM or stock ardroid 3e recovery ?

Right now it reboots to 3e recovery.
The rom that I tried to inject to it is currently a the stock gingerbread rom from dr. Ketans thread.
The rom that I had on it is the official ics rom for the hk region.
The rom that I wanted to inject to it was a custom jb rom that uses hydracore as a kernel.
Thanks!!
try installing a prerooted Gb rom or an ICS stock rom using PC odin.. if you choose ICS, after flash install a safe kernel..

If I do a stock ics update can I just do it through kies or do I have to do it through pc odin? Also. Would abyss or hydracore considered as a safe kernel???
yes if kies can do it then good but at this situation i dont think. its better to use PC odin for now. yes both are safe kernels

I've tried your suggestions...and it didn't seem to work out too well.
I am able to flash to different kernels and get in and out of different recovers and such, but ya...still no luck with running a rom.
Well I am not sure but I soft bricked my phone when I tried that Abyss Kernel. In my view Hydracore is safe. Philz is super safe.
Flash ICS which matches your region using Odin. If phone boots flash Philz, If not, then be ready to read a lot of stuff or get phone repaired.

the only thing i have...
Hey guys. my note seems to have cooperated and allowed me to flash a new rom and also a new kernel. Here's the catch though, now it's stuck in the samsung logo and won't boot beyond that. Any suggestions of what to do? I am continually searching on the forums to find a solution.
At least I'm happy to know it's not a brick that can't be fixed.
Thanks nokiamodeIn91 for your help so far. I really appreciate it.
which rom did you flash and which kernel? how?
He spent a lot of time helping you. Be sure to hit thanks button

I currently flashed the abyss note kernel 42 cw touch and I downloaded an old gb rom from sammobile .
Here's what I did.
1. Put my phone into download mode
2. Run as admin on PC Odin
3. Selected the Abyss kernel then flashed it.
4. Boot into the cmw, wiped cache then booted the phone into download mode again.
5. Then I installed the old GB Rom on to my phone and restarted it.
6. Phone starts, loads past the GT-N7000 logo and goes into the samsung boot logo.
7. Phone repeats the animation of the samsung logo a time or two then restarts on its own. This loops until the phone is completely drained. I know that the rom works because that was the rom that I used to root my phone. I definitely don't mind downloading another rom if I have to.
my current goal, if we can fix this, is to quickly just update to the official jb rom for n7000 and not play around with the rooting and such until I have even more time to learn more.
at least I know for sure my phone isn't hardbricked, I would imagine I have either missed a step or something that caused the problem.
I have read through the forum and I did come across one post talking about checking my phone's partition and such.
I got to be honest, I'm really not technically skilled enough at this point in time to dare to mess around with that type of thing yet especially with so much coding to make sense of it. (I know this is kind of dumb to say especially when I rooted my phone and screwed up this bad). More importantly, I don't even know for sure if I need to do a partition or not.
Please let me know what I did wrong and how I can fix it.
I got a question though (out of curiosity), how come there's no toolkit for the n7000 like the S3 and also the note 2???
this is the name of the old gb rom that I tried flashing.
N7000ZSKJ6_N7000OZSKJ6_N7000XXKJ6_HOME.tar
I actually have tried several other roms as well (from GB-JB, official and custom) and all of them so far has gotten to the samsung boot logo
I have read on the forums to try using Philz-cwm 6 kernel but I don't know if it'd solve my problem.
let me show you one of the threads I have read, if I dived into the wrong material let me know and I won't consider using it (or learn how to use it) for my current situation
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661590&highlight=samsung+logo+bootloop&page=2
like I was saying before, I really have no experience in coding so all the things that really made near no sense to me. I understand the basic concept of what its trying to do it's just seems like a very unsafe method for me to try especially when I lack the necessary knowledge in this area of expertise.
did you flash the GB rom using the standard PIT file ?
also you could try with the 5 file flashing method from this thread
