hi all,
i'm reading the posts about this problem but the issue doesn't work for me :
i'm tried that's written in the first post :
"-Uninstall logsprovider by titanium
-reboot in recovery
-flash file provided in above link
- clear davik cache
-reboot."
Titanium Backup indicates the Note will boot twice and it's well done to input the new file but in fact my Note root once and indicates it can't find the update !
I reboot in recovery, flash the new file, clear davik cache and reboot but nothing changes !!!
Could you show me the right way please ?
Thanks !
Check in the thread itself, he posted a solution for the same.

Hi fellow blackers,
My optimus black was on Nova Rom 2.2 v8:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161015
And I flashed it to v20n:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441901
I followed the instructions specifically these two before proceeding with the zip install.
1. Wipe Data/Cache (if not wiped, might cause problem)
2. Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache (same as data/cache, might cause problem)
After flashing, I can't seem to install any app from Market. It says that I have insufficient space on device.
So did some searching (google and here on XDA):
Here are their suggestions:
1. Install Marketfix - unfortunately, I can't install this because it is already saying I have insufficient space.
2. Clear market cache - after clearing (cache and data), I still says insufficient space
3. Uninstall market update - Going to settings - Application - manage application then selecting Market, I don't see any uninstall button. Just Force close, cancel and clear cache, clear data..
4. Finally I saw knzo's supposedly fix for this: Something to do with file system (nova is on EXT4 while stock is on EXT3)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212370&highlight=insufficient
I wasn't able to try option 1 because the file was removed on all file sharing sites.
Options 2 and 3 - restore factory settings isn't working. The phone is not doing anything after I click Erase everything. It just hangs
Any other suggestions?
Try reflash ROM with wipe all data and cache in CWM including dalvik cash and formating partitions in "mounts&storage".
Or this!
Try wipe cache and dalvik cache...worked for me
hmm pardon me, but how do I boot into recovery? I tried powering the device on while holding volume down (also tried up and G button) but it didnt reboot into recovery.

Since I can;t install anything (rom manager etc.), I think I needed to do what you advised.
I was able to flash the stock then started up from there

Hi
I recently downloaded 2.12.29 Official MIUI ROM from http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/2-12-28-29.19143/
However, after flashing, when I reboot the phone, the phone stucks at HTC white screen for a couple of minutes and then reboots into recovery..
The only strange stdout I see during installation is :
>> format system
>> do not formate system
Has anyone come across such issues.. are there any known workarounds..
Help appreciated..
EDIT: I follow the following steps for flashing:
1. Factory reset
2. Wipe cache
3. Wipe dalvik cache
4. format system
5. install ROM
6. wipe cache
7. wipe dalvik cache
8. flash boot.img
>> 6,7 because I read on one of the MIUI forums that if the ROM is flashed on a phone already running an MIUI then these steps are required..
Looks like issue is resolved after following the documentation at: http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/how-to-update-upgrade-miui.15424/
Hey guys,
First time post here. I've looked through the similar threads and I don't think any relate to my problem.
My issue is that after flashing Resurrection Remix ROM (which i believe i have followed the correct procedure) and reboot, all i am rewarded with is that the phone boots into the "downloading...do not turn off target" screen. ie i flash, reboot, and it goes to the download green android.
The obvious question is, what am i doing wrong?
To help you guys answer i'll list my processes below as i do them at the same time:
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9305. Android Version 4.1.2. Original stock firmware is installed on the phone
All files were downloaded through the links provided at
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815285
1. Rooted phone through Odin.
2. Flashed CWM through Odin.
3. Downloaded the ROM and the GAPPS zip files and transferred files onto external SD card.
4. Entered CWM.
a. wipe data/factory reset
b. install zip from sd card>choose zip from sdcard>installed the ROM.
At this point it all goes well and gets to "Install from sdcard complete.
c. install zip from sd card>choose zip from sdcard>installed the GAPPS.
At this point it all goes well and gets to "Install from sdcard complete.
d. advanced>wipe dalvik cache
Dalvik Cache wiped.
e. advanced>Fix Permissions
Fixing Permissions....Done.
f. wipe cache partition
Cache Wipe Complete.
g. reboot system
And low and behold, it boots into the "downloading...do not turn off target screen".
So. Questions are:
- is this ROM compatible with the GT-I9305? (im 99% sure it is)
- If it is, what am i doing wrong?
Please help guys, I am having the same problems with other ROMS. I DONT WANT SAMSUNG STOCK POO!
Thanks in advance.

Hmm.. Please try something like that: when your phone is showing "downloading... bla bla bla" press and hold power button+home button (together) for some time. This should reboot your phone normally. It seems like your recovery is rebooting your phone into download mode (needed for odin).
Try rebooting before installing GApps .
Other usual suspect is you are trying to install the wrong file for a different phone or file is faulty .

Hey guys..thanks heaps for your replies...I have fixed my issue!Lol just carelessness on my end...whilst looking through my original downloads, although not a 100% sure, it looks as if I downloaded and flashed the wrong cf-root package..I think I used the i9300 instead of i9350...so I started from the beginning and used the correct one and multiple ROMs have now been successfully flashed and trying them out thanks all

Really???
From first page...
HOW TO INSTALL
First time installing CyanogenMod 11.0 to your Galaxy Note N7000:
Read known issues ans FAQs
Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/TWRP = correct kernel like RAW4 (kernel & recovery is ONE part!!!)
Copy Gapps and CM11.0 ZIPs to your Internal/External SDcard
Boot into Recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
Format System
Flash CM11.0 zip
Flash GApps zip from SDCard
Reboot
Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Hi guys
heres what happened
I flash my device via spf flash tool to stock MM
then flash TWRP_boot_root_s228 then
copy CM13-2016-09-26 build & tron kernel
then I put my device via recovery mode then
flash the cm13 restarted all good then
flashed the tron kernel, all good again
here's the tricky part:
after I install facebook via google play store as soon as it as it is finished installing. there's several apps that stopped working like trebuchet, package installer, calculator and several more and when I check the settings several apps contains 0 bytes, none whatsoever. what am I doing wrong, I have been flashing several times ends up same result.
btw I wipe dalvik cache, system, data, cache, internal storage before flashing.
pls help me guys
There is no need of wiping internal storage
And
The problem you are facing can be solved by changing the rom
Simply download a random Custom Rom and gapps then flash them through your recovery -> this time just wipe dalvik, cache, system and data only.
I faced same problem once and i found solution through this step
