Hello peeps,
Does anyone knows why my google play store crashes?
When i go to the store it opens and then force closes.
How can i reset the store?
Thanks in advance
Probably because you post Q&A topics in the Apps&Themes section...

This is a fix for the Market, it is what I had to use in order to make the market work IN ICS....... I do not know if the same issue would be true in GB.... but when they updated to play store some phones didn't like the update.
This is a Q & A issue not Themes and Apps... it is your lucky day that I didn't just delete this thread. In the future, post correctly.... hope you get it fixed ....thread moved.....

It is app related... but general discussion belong in general and questions belong in q&a. The apps and themes section is for posting threads that contain created apps and themes.

I think you need to post your Q to the HTC Desire C forum and not here (on the Galaxy Note N7000) one. Perhaps somebody can help you there seemingly with the same device as yours.
I would put it in the HTC Desire C forums but unfortunately it doesnt exist yet... it seemed relevant as it is to do with the same problem

Does anyone has a youtube apk that switches to HD mode? sorry if this has been anwered somewhere, but bored of searching google for another half an hour.
Thanks a lot
edit0: I can't see this thread in the forum, i guess no one else does either. If found by a mod, please delete, i posted it in the QA section again (it belongs there anyway)
thanks!
edit1: and now it's there... what's going on..
I am unaware of any hacks to the youtube app to enable HD for the galaxy s but I would most certainly love to have one.
Was reading over in the SGS2 forum that you have to change the dpi to enable it. It appears as though it is only for high resolution devices. The thread was in their general forum.

Go in Youtube application > Settings > General Settings > High Quality on Mobile . Check this option and you will have all videos loaded HD by default
Pretty much every time I head into the market it randomly disappears and I have to open it again. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

The problem seems to have disappeared with the new version of the market (Play Shop) but I'm still quite worried about this RAM leak, how do I check?
Delete any shortcuts you have of it. Then go on the app hold down go into application data and delete cache. Then recreate the short cuts etc. ... that worked for me.

My problems were fixed, but thanks for trying to help.
hi guys,
sometimes you see a screenshot and you want to know what's that for an app or feature. So I thought to open a thread where you can post these things you can't live without it. I'm interested and searching for new things - so let's post!
So I would start:
For me it's an app called swapps. It's like the @ppbar who's integrated in some custom roms. See the screenshot.
Play Store link.

Not sure it is related to N4...
Anyway this might be interesting but this app you talk about, I don't see the point as you can do it with recent apps or simply go back to home screen?!
(Sorry about negativeness of this comment^^, this is a good idea to discover interesting apps though)

Check this thread. Not yet sure if it's going to work on our devices. I've been trying to test the launcher but I got fc. There's a workaround to fix fc but I can't get it to work.

KitKat - too sweet?
Google Now will be part of the operating system, SMS will be integrated with Hangouts. These will close the last relevant "information gap".
I am toying with the idea of stripping off my phone everything related to Google.

... and the presence of Google Search is now compulsory.
Microsoft was dilettante in comparison.
does anyone have success getting it to work for them? I have the Google Search fc every time i try to switch to the new launcher but Google Now works

So am I. I am so sick of the privacy concerns that go along with Google. Not to mention the increase in ads that Google is now releasing

Been following some forums here again after a break due to the frustration from the format change, so I thought I'd try installing the XDA app again - and I'm sorry, I find it completely unusable.
The old app was very user friendly, brought up your participated and following easily - in the new app, even when I search the forums for a topic, it brings up a bunch of unrelated cr*p. Now, perhaps the forum I'm looking for is in there somewhere, but I don't have time for that.
No doubt there were good reasons for the new format and new app, but not gonna lie - they aren't apparent from this user's perspective. Uninstalled again.
