Does anyone know how to replace the sense 2.1 gallery with the sense 3.0 gallery? I have tried just swapping out the HTCAlbum.apk but cannot get it to work.

You may need to reinstall the ROM or kernel. Removing it like that could have broken something
i use this one for gingerbread so not sure about froyo. Also make sure you have a kernal that supports call recording. I have herd alot of people having issues with the GB kernals and getting this to work properly.
The link is broken. Is it possible you can re-upload it please.
Same link is no good.
Can anyone repost the link?

Thanks Denonlake, but I cant seem to find the setting to make it ask after every call. Is there something im missing? I appreciate you sending it my way.

I'm assuming the utkanos kernels do not support call recording?
I flashed this first one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1025199
and ever since the call recording does not work on 1.8.6

If you hit menu when you have the APP open and select preferences. the option that needs to be clicked is Show dialog for delete the recording

You could always just sideload the old APK

Im trying to make due without pinch zoom, but its tough, lol.
Quick question, how would i replace the default launcher in a zipped custom rom with another one.? Do i just replace it or is it something more complicated? thanks.
Its as easy as just replacing it...or just adding it in without replacing
The second option will give you a pop up when you first turn the phone on asking which one you wanna use and if you wanna enable it by default

Hello,
I would like to remove the smiley's from the default 4.1 Messaging app, can anyone help me with this? I have located them in the framework-res.apk, but I can only replace them with others, not completely remove them.
Does anyone know a solution?
Is that because your not a very smiley person ?
Sent from my Incredible S using Tapatalk 2
It's because I hate the ugly green alienlike smileys and I prefer normal text smileys.

Of course there is. It's not really a menu it's just a heading in the list if you tab settings.
That's all there is.

That's a screenshot from my Galaxy Nexus But the app is the same on both. But looks like I got a modified messaging app...
And copying the app from a Galaxy Nexus ROM to an Inc S isn't a good idea I guess.

You can try it if you want But I guess the resolution will break it You can surely find a similar app in one of the ROMs in the IncS section. Try Paranoid Android. If the app has got the feature there you can just copy it
I'll try some other ROMs, thanks for the help anyway.
