How do i exactly flash a modem using oldin?

Im still learning and one thing i cant learn or find is how exactly do u use oldin to flash a modem? I was trying to drag and drop it into oldin but it wont work. So what do i do? I have the i897ucjf6-final-ocd-rev0.exe oldin if that helps thx.

You need the other version of odin. Then unzip the modem and place it in the phone slot. And flash it.

Where can i find that version?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797282 I found Odin here. Download the file and extract the contents. The Odin3 standalone is there. Save it on your pc, you will use it for flashing kernels, modems and some ROMS.

Both, first put it in debugging mode. Then you power off and run Odin as administrator, put the phone.tar in the phone slot on Odin and click start. It takes about 30 seconds.

Thx but i already found it and have it on my pc my last question is if i put my phone into usb debug or download more when flashing a modem

Long time ago,I had a almost similar issue on gallery 3d.Its turn out that its cause by use chainfire3d & reduced screen quality by default(I not remember much since I don use it anymore).If u use cf,maybe thats the problem.

we both had same experience
actually if ur using cf3d and applied the graphics to reduce by 16 bit then definetly ur problem is that

is there anyway of porting s voice in our phone? coz google now cannot be use in offline mode.

Just search on xda or Google for "Ported S-Voice" and download the required file and it works on our phone. I'm currently using it.

HELP !! Htc one stuck at update screen

Well, i S-offed my Htc. flashed CWM to take a stock backup, and than i reflashed the stock recovery image found here in XDA, and tried to update my HTC, it tried to update but now it is stuck in update screen

Yeap, i can flash new recovery, and and the stock rom bootsup again after i restart, but when i update again it gets stuck at the same place, i don't know where the problem lies. Does anyone else have similar problem ?

Hmm s-off and rooted? Why update thru carrier? The custom Rom will give the latest base

Well i my HTC One is only S-off not rooted, Does anyone else have this problem ?

Same problem here, stuck with an old update and no one is offering me a solution so far

I don't understand if custom roms are being installed on the phone, why are you installing an OTA from your phone carrier??

Useless app :laugh:

I have downloaded the app, but it won't install.. Does anyone know how to get around this? I saw someone posted in a different forum how you need to put it in system/priv-app and select correct permissions and reboot..
So I moved it to that folder, left default permissions of rw-rw- and reboot, but still didn't let me install it.. Any idea how to get it to install?
I have an HTC ONE M8 - rooted, s-off
