Just out of curiosity, we don't have an ENG HBOOT readily available, do we?

Does anyone have a copy of the engineering hboot that was posted here a month or so ago? The thread appears to have been removed.

I went looking through the forum for an ENG HBOOT but I didn't find anything at all. I wish someone would come forward with one though. Was it for the GB build or the ICS build?

Gb but it shouldn't matter. Should be able to flash it now and then just update it to the lastest firmware excluding the new hboot. I don't know why they deleted their post.

What about the ENG HBOOT of a Raider or Velocity? Could you use that? I'm looking for anything that might help.

I think any eng hboot will work so long as its in the proper nbo format. Having it signed shouldn't matter now that we have s-off

Would it help to try to track down the owner of the prototype?
Found this post and was wondering if it would help or if it's too old:

EDIT: Or would this help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515969
Nope, we need an ICS ENG HBOOT as far as I know, if we want to continue using ICS. I'd rather have ICS than ENG HBOOT if I had to choose.
I'm pretty sure we don't. If you have the eng bootloader you can remove the bootloader from the ics firmware update and flash it in the bootloader and this should update the old eng hboot with the ics firmware minus the updated hboot.

So we can user that bootloader

Can I change my CID to a superCID by typing this command 'fastboot oem writecid 111111111'? Saw this at the sensation's general forum.

At the bottom of his post is his "signature" which has a link to the BlackRose thread. You simply need to click that link and read all about BlackRose.

Stay on revolutionary. Anyone can feel free to correct me, but none of the custom roms here need the lib partition provided by the new hboots, you're losing cache and I haven't had any situation where I have actually required blackrose to do something that revolutionary cannot.
Didn't see this infill it was too late but I actually managed to install bkackrose hboot. And I can't see what the big deal about it is as you said. There's no major diffrence and it does exactly what revolutionary was doing for me. Maybe more trouble then what its worth (maybe) lol. Never the less I have it will keep it for a wile if it becomes no use I will go back to revoukutionary

Sorry If it's not the right place to ask for this.. How do people usually get their hands on RUU files? Are they officially released by carriers or device manufacturers?
It would be awesome to find that RUU so that going back to stock would be very easy. I don't currently have a problem on HTC__001 4.2.2 but you never know.
They are usually leaked, might take a very long time to get the ruu for your carrier
