The app looks great, I really like it. If only I could find the option to change language to English. I can't even speak or read a single word in French.

The app is pretty much self-explanatory, so there isn't much to ask about it. What I'd suggest is to make the backgrounds an option. I prefer a background that matches the rest of the OS (black or white, depending on what the user has chosen). Other than that the only things I notice were little mistakes in the english translation.
I gotta get a credit card finally. Once I have, I'll purchase the full version of Arcadia. It's pretty useful for my job.

(V 1.1) here's more:
For an updated info "Arcadia Scan 1.2" is supposed to arrive next weekend with several patch especially for scanning networks with its problems and it remembers the last scan done and adding new pages / content with news.

* Fixed bug that prevented to leave the application correctly. No problem now since the key "return".
* Fix / change language translation on the interface in general.
* Added recognition function of type of language used in "scan Html page"
* Fixed alignment when displaying the "Network Scanner"
* Fixed animation that continued to scan after a failed "scan html page"
* Fixed error messages on the IP calculator

sweet! How about adding a wifi scanner? IE- scann all available wifi networks and return signal strength, ssid, encryption type, channel, etc...

[WP 7] BSA Eagle Tracker v1.1

BSA Eagle Tracker is a program I make that lets a boy scout track his progress towards eagle scout. The program is meant to be an unofficial means to track requirements done for the various ranks. The official scout handbook is still the official way to record that a requirement was done, but this gives boys a way to track their progress so they can "pocket" it and take it anywhere. The program was designed for offline use and to be totally independent of the Internet, so boys can use it "in the field" where they might not have the scout handbook with them. All of the requirements contained in the scout handbook for each rank are found in this app.
In the future, I plan to include the WHOLE merit badge requirements book and the scout awards, including religious awards.

I will say this is a terrific app - works like a charm. Very ingenious! I would like to make a request though. If it were possible to save area calculations and email them, that would definitely be a big PLUS!

Thank you! But what exactly do you mean about area calculations saved. Just the result number? It should already be possible even now to select it and copy-paste into an email, if needed.

Mobile First Aid translation

Hi,
i've finally found some time to update Mobile First Aid application and since many users asked for additional languages, i seek your help for translating all the strings. I've created a repository on GetLocalization, all you need to do is to register for free and then translate one or more entry (every help counts ).

[Project Idea/Suggestions] In-App Automatic Translate (a.k.a. google trans+chrome)

I have no idea if the project is feasible, and ideas/suggestions are welcome!
Project Idea -
What I want to do is translate all in-app text from one predefined language to another at runtime.
Say for example an app is in German (Not necessarily just the strings from *.xml, even text generated at runtime).
A user predefines the package name, and the required language conversion (say German to English).
Then whenever the user uses the required app, all the string, ANYWHERE in the app, are replaced by their translated equivalents.
Something similar to the way google translate works in chrome (minus the auto-detect page language part)
Project Implementation Proposal -
[*]Get all text drawn on the screen by hooking
TextView.class, "setText"
TextView.class, "setHint"
"android.view.GLES20Canvas", "drawText", etc.
[*] Use an online translation service (preferably Microsoft Translator as its free) to translate all the strings.
Note - Cache these translations offline since they will likely be needed often.
[*] Use beforeHookedMethod to replace any such String methodHookParam
Note - I understand that using any such online translation service will result in significant delay.
but if the delay is of an acceptable level, I would consider this project a life-saver. Perhaps caching the translations should suffice?
Any ideas, suggestions, criticism welcome!
