[Q] Google system framework

i heard that clearing the cache on Google system framework will help the problem where you cant download apps from the market. theirs one problem, when i got to NookColor Tools - All settings - Mange applications - Filter - All i cant find it! any help to this please?

Is it not in running services?

no i cant find it at all! is it called "Google system framework" or is it named something else?

Never find it on my autonootered 3.0 nook too...
So i flashed nookie froyo

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications >
Then make sure you look under the all tab. The downloaded tab is the default for me.
It is called Google Services Framework and you clear the data for this one and cache for market.
Also I would like to note that I am running Nookie Froyo 0.6.8 SD Card Rom. Good luck!

when i do that, in the "G" section i only have these: Gallery, Gingerbread Keyboard, Gmail, Gmail Storage, Google Apps, Google Search, Google Sky Map, Google Talk Service, Google Talk Storage, Gsearch and thats it no Google Services Framework, even in the "All" filter.

It's not there in a stock 2.1 install. Only in froyo and up.

oh wow thanks man! well is their a way to fix this problem on stock 2.1?

[Q] Can't enter google account on nightly 166

I was running nightly 150 and updated to nightly 166 using Rom Manager. I chose the option to wipe Dalvik cache. When I rebooted, and tried to launch the market, it would give a message saying I had to add an account. I would go to the accounts menu in settings and there would only be options for corporate and YAHOO accounts, but no option to add a Google account!! I don't recall there being a Yahoo option previously, and there was always a Google option. You need a Google account for the market, don't you? Anybody else experience this and any ideas? Also, when I tried to open g-mail, it just immediately forced closed.

Go back into rom manager and reflash gapps. This should restore the access to google apps.

Android Market is missing

i freshly installed gingerdx 021 and i noticed my android market is missing.
when gingerdx launched for the first time, i deselected the google sync and location. is this the source?
i searched in applications -> manage applications -> all and there is an application called market version 3.0.27 but i dont have it in my menu.
how can i install android market back?

Nothing to worry about. Just login to your Google Account and the icon will appear.

Also, there are installations for newer markets out here on the xda forum

Log-in to Talk. If you will be correctly logged, Market and other Google stuff will appear.

[Q] Problem with Account Sync Settings

Hi, I got a strange Problem with my mobile
whenever I add a google account, in the Account Sync settings I am unable to check/uncheck the options. Those are all checked by default
Does any one have the same problem or can some one suggest if there is any app which can change the settings?

Is this a custom rom?

No.. I am on V10H stock ROM, rooted

OK.. This is what I have done. Since it did not work, I continued and after the setup completed I could see picasa albums in my gallery. In order to remove this I went to settings, Accounts and sync and unchecked the sync settings for picasa. But still I am able to see images in gallery. Next step, I went to settings-> Apps -> All -> Gallery -> clear cache and clear data

[q] cant find the ui settings in google apps and more

PLEASE HELP!!!
Hello, I just flashed pacman 4.3 and gapps, when I logged in to my apps I can't find the "My Apps" icon, when I open my google calendar I can not see the settings tab, when i log in to my amazon app i can find the 3 dot settings tab as well.
Am I missing something here, do i need to reflash or is there a setting somewhere on the rom that i need to enable.
