Has anybody used it? I have, but i just wanna know ur oppinnion about that... Cuz i dont realy think that it is any better than app called ram manager pro... I am using ram manager right now and i have to say games run better than with supercharger and u have different options like balanced, balanced more free ram, balanced more multitasking, hard gaming and hard multitasking... So looking forward to ur feedback
IMO, im prepare with Ram Manager
Im tried Superchager quite good, but yeah idk why, sometimes im get laggy. game and stuff.

Ram manager runs well on my w8. Easy apply and do its task well.

the best thing about supercharging was that it enhanced my battery life alot...and the small scripts it provides really work when your phone seems to get slower

So just asked myself: "maybe guys here already are using this kinda stuff.."
If you don't know what i mean, then please help me out a bit.
I'm looking for app, soft or any kinda a programm, which is like "Game Booster" for PC.
Example: Widget, that stays on home screen and you can change MODS between gaming mod where performace goes up by closing most of unneeded apps and increasing RAM (overclock not needed, it can be done by yourself).
And switch to daily use, where your apps that you need daily are turned on, performace goes less, but it's not for gaming..
Maybe out there, is that kinda app and you could share it to me.
Thanks.
Try "Ram Manager", it has got several types - gaming, daily etc.
Try "Speed Boost Lite" it boosts my games by 10-15fps

Oh, this will come handy for me also.
Also latest MiniCM could give you some performance boost in games.
why always when i reboot my phone i have 90RAM Free pass (with supercharger) and after few hours or next day i have 50 mb free and all my apps ,launcher laggy dat_co fused
using froyopro v025 alfs kernel

Supercharger has some ROM compatibility make sure you use the best one for froyo
i think i use bcz 90 ram never had without supercharger
Sent from my XPERIA X8
Oops I mean use lower version of supercharger.
supercharger has ROM compatibility so you cannot just use it on any ROM.
Correct me if Im wrong.
Take note as well, free RAM depends on the apps installed and running in backgrounds.
i use task killer for this and i use v6 supercharger and i think it's good ...myb u have different?

Which kernel should i choose ??
i use DjangoManouche 1.5 now
i have a total of 330mb ram only
any good idea i can do
I believe you have 330 mb because the rest up to 512 mb is reserved for system apps. So you can use root explorer and go to /system/app and remove some system apps you don't use and reboot the phone. Just be careful not to touch stuff that is required for the phone to boot. And no, I don't know exactly which these apps are. But here is a tip: I always remove gallery, news and weather, all google apps, music player, stock email, navigation software if there is any, live wallpappers, file explorer (not before getting another though) and everything that's about visualization in general. These things are safe to remove.
And btw the amount of free ram is pretty much irrelevant to the phone's work because the kernel tries to utilize as much ram as possible and then it gives it away to ram requiring apps for the moment. I am just trying to say that you need not worry about free ram if the phone is working correctly. And if it's not it is most likely not because of used ram but some app is not behaving as it should and is using the CPU too much.
You should consider using a kernel that has OTF settings or a RAMhack. I recommend Etana but for some reason I love Temasek's Kernel. They both have the RAMhack option. It basically takes some of the RAM that is reserved for your GPU and makes it available for your device so you'll have more RAM for running applications etc. You shouldn't set the RAMhack too high though, 32mb/48mb should be fine. Additionally you could freeze some system apps that you don't need and use an autostart-manager in association with a task killer to kill applications and not allow them to restart themselves.

What did I just read?
Don't do what was posted, you'll most likely break everything.
System apps uses system storage not ram. Deleting those apps will not give you more ram. But more system storage maybe.
Ram is used to save the current state of opened applications. Though the reason you only have 330mb left, is cause the gpu uses it as shared memory.
A ram hack is an option, as it reduces the amount of ram that goes to the gpu. But the use of a ram hack over 48mbs will break lots of things, such as recorder, camera and instability in games.
In all honesty, there is no use for a ram hack 330mb of ram is enough.

If you use DjangoManouche you have ram profiles, another option are to use swap, the benefits, i'm not sure there are
Like a previous post said.....android are coded to use all ram except the amount needed for system to run smooth, apps you open will then be stored in ram which are the fastest "sd card lol". Next time you open its from ram. If you use many apps its useful with much ram. After reboot you start all over again. If there's a memory leak you can get issues like lagging Best solution are to choose a profile with much ram for apps and not much more than nessesary for system
Our device gets better each day thanks to our amazing devs
Use guestekrnl 1.8.1 and enable ZRam, works a charm. See my recent post in the flix123 v20s thread as well.
What are you planning to do with the free ram?

Dear god, when will people learn that free RAM is wasted RAM?
Hard to get rid of Windows habbit lol
Sent from my LG-P990
To have more free RAM means it has to take some from the normally non accessible system dedicated RAM. This way your device has less RAM for things like graphics which can worsen video playback and record performance.
Sent from my Optimus 2X using xda app-developers app
The opinion free ram is wasted ram is wrong. you should realize it from daily use. its because when you have for example 70MB free and you open browser with some tabs, some game, etc. it closes other apps you dont want or it closes some of the tabs in browser and you have to load them every time you switch them. you need enough free ram to open what you want without system automatic closing other and under 100MB really isnt enough

Hi all I'm running mclaws cm9 rc1 and just downloaded order and chaos but I find it to be very laggy even the sound skips. I've seen videos on YouTube where the game runs OK.
The things I've tried are...
Gamebooster app set on ultra gaming.
Chainfire3d with nvidia plugin and downgraded textures.
I have a 512mb swap file
Ended all background tasks.
Turned off sound.
But the game still lags any other ways to boost gaming performance would be appreciated thanks
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Ending background tasks is usually useless, except for some. Most of them just restart.
You could try overclocking your phone. I believe the highest stable value is 921Mhz.
If you still want more, get a new phone.
Use cm7. Much more speedy and stable!
___________XDA Premium__________
Don't be a noob. Be a newbie..!!
Details here.

Well. You can always overclock.
CM9 will have laggy games because there are too many background processes and too much of Ram used.
Go to Developer Options and down, select limit for background processes to 1.
Your game might still lag, that's because of ram usage.
Try Ram Booster, and even try adrenaline engine on a 921 mhz oc.
If it still lags, there's nothing you can do about it.
Just go to GB. Less processes, less Ram = Better Gaming.
In short GB = BG.
Gingerbread = Better Gaming.
You should either go for a Stock ROM with lot of tweaks and OC or use CM 7 with OC
That would be the only way...

Just kidding
Dont fill up system and data
Try ram management script's
U can try using swap if u have a fast sdcard
Overlock it a bit and change governor smartassv2 always got me on the good away

Juice defender don't boost your performance and nofrills is USELESS in CM roms because they can set de frequencies without 3er party apps... cm roms have in-built a system to OC/UV CPU frequencies... installing apps you only get more lag because they'll increase your ram consumption, the best way to reduce lag is bareboning the rom, kill useless process and using some scripts could help too
I'm damn sure No-frills increases performance but increases battery usage as well, so for this use juice defender. Both of them are just ~3mb (combined) so need to mumbo jumbo for free space... lol

Use greenify, and select all those apps that remain open, such as facebook, viber ...
