Having a few problems with this rom. First of all the camera works fine but the video camera in 720p and 1080p is squeezed and not full screen recording. Second is I can't seem to make a folder icon on the desktop? There is no option when I hold down on an empty space or press the menu key, also I cannot make a folder in the apparently menu either. Thirdly is it possible to customize the lock screen to add my own unlock things?

I want to make few folders or labels if possible with apps shortcut inside it, is it possible?
daily use>few apps inside this folder
gps> 4 apps inside this folder
photo
games
education
kids
multimedia
etc
Also I would like to rename the apps shortcuts which have long names, is there a way to do that?
Basically I want to remain quite organized on my home screen, as of now I have to browse a long list to reach the app or place the shortcut on 1 of the home screen but then I forget on which home screen the app is?
Sure,
Long press on your home screen, then folder (new folder - long press on it -> edit -> chose a name/icon). Then go in your app drawer long touch on the app, and finaly drag the shortcut in the folder you created.
Wao!, I didn't even know long press existed on blank screen, I did what you suggested & that solves my issue now I can organize my apps in a better way.
Thanks

Yw, just change the topic title as [Solved].
I can recommend Simi folders, its free and it allows you to customize your folders a bit. Also gives nice launcher options. like and iphone popup or transparent background etc.

So I just got CM7 running on my SD card and was loading Netflix when I noticed that the icon with 4 boxed that lets u view your apps that is located in the small 3 icon tool bar thing at the bottom of the screen is gone. Is there another way to get to my apps or some way to get back the icon.
You might try hitting menu on the home screenm-->settings-->ADWLauncher-->Reset ADW
Just a shot in the dark here, but I'm guessing that will fix it.
Also in the menu you can go to general behavior-->Swipe up action and swipe down action, which will allow you to set what happens when you swipe up or down on the homescreen. Personally, I don't even use the 3 little icons, I just have swiping down display the app drawer.

On the Home screen, tap and hold on the empty space to bring up "Add to Home screen" window, then tap the "Launcher Actions" then select "Open/close App Drawer". It will bring the icon back on your Home screen, from there, you can drag it back to one of the 3 boxes on the Dock bar.
I kept having to reset it and got tired of that so I deleted the bar and put the icon on the screen itself. It hasn't disappeared yet since doing that.

It does not "disappear", you're removing it. Put it back and select "Lock desktop". You'll have to unlock when you want to change stuff on the desktop.
Disappeared

Good, close to OLED friendly.
Is there a way to get rid of the "google" and microphone in the upper left or to make the color yellow (to avoid burn in)?
If the white/grey in the pop up settings screen in lower right could be changed to yellow that would prevent burn too.
Also if the "APPS" and the + sign in upper right could be made yellow (no blue component) Then we would have a fairly burn-in free screen.
Thanks.
Also what all does this change? Just the stuff shown in the picture?
Very nice theme.. but letter (H) of hsdpa icon in status bar still blue , would you make it red please
Better but I am more concerned with the microphone next to the Google in the upper left corner of the screen as that is always on.
How exactly do I load this in a step by step instruction? I am not very experienced in this. I am not sure how to go to recovery and load this.
Where are these graphics located, I could edit the ones I want if needed.

hello guys,
i just wanna know if its possible to add folder icons without the (line, grid, fan)
just a single icon and when i tap on it it open with the app icons in it. is that possible with zooper widget ?
any help is more than appreciated.
thanks
Yes, no widget needed. Just create the folder, then long press and select Edit to choose your icon.
Alternatively do the long press and tap edit that h0bnail suggested and then enable "Swipe to open folder". It will then default to the first app (and display the icon for it) but when you swipe up on the app it will open the folder. This only works with home screen folders but thought you might want to know.

thanks man for the help. much appreciated. and yes i want to use it on the home screen only
I switched last weekto the AOSP Oreo build for our beloved OnePlus One. So there I'm missing the possibility to customize hardware button remapping. Since I also don't like to waste place on my screen with the navigationbar, I polished up an app I developed once for my old Samsung Note 1.
VSB places a virtual button on the bottom of your screen (the grey circle in the screenshot). You can hide it and you can change the size. This button will always be there. So, now you can attach different events on different triggers of that button.
Triggers:
click
long click
double click
swipe up
swipe left
swipe right
Events:
Nothing
Home
back
Recents
open notifications
open Quick settings
open power menu
lock screen
open volume panel
To do this the app needs the following permissions enabled:
android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: to show the button over other apps, otherwise you could not click it
android.permission.BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE: to trigger some events (home, back, power menu, ...)
android.permission.ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY: to open volume panel during "Do not disturb" mode
Downloads:
In the third post.
The app is complete open source: https://github.com/scoute-dich/VirtualSoftKeys and a heavily modified fork of VirtualSoftKeys, which is licensed under the Apache License.
The app can be used on any device running Lollipop+. I just want to share it, because for me it's usefull and I hope for some of you also. This is my way to say thanks to all other developers and to give the great community on XDA something back. If you have suggestions or if you find some bugs, just tell me here or open an issue on Github.

If you could add open app drawer, this would be perfect.. I know I'm a small case scenario, but your dot will interfere with my layout (see screenshot).. If there's an app drawer ( or select app) feature, it'd be amazing.. Oh, and moveable too..
Volume option takes me to do not disturb option, not the volume panel..

1. I don't think, that opening the app drawer is possible. I can't call "a launcher method" from outside the launcher. In my setup the dot also interferes with the open drawer function. But with my launcher (Flick launcher) it's possible to swipe up on the dock to open the drawer. Perhaps you have a similar possibility?
Also with your current settings it should be possible to touch the open app drawer button without clicking the VSB.
2. Moveable would be nice. I will look out for possibilities, when I have the time. At the moment I'm very busy at work and don't have much time. Also this app has a lower priority than other apps, I already published on PlayStore and F-Droid, which also have some outstanding issues to solve.
3. The thing with the volume panel is strange. I used the app on different Nougat and Oreo roms. And it always opens the "ringtone volume slider"...
But anyway, thanks for your feedback. I promise to take a look in the second suggestion.
