I was looking at getting something upgraded from the revo but not like latest and greatest because I would be paying full price.
I love the display and its dual core. Any opinions on this phone?

According to the few places I've checked out, such as engadget, it does fairly okay for a mid-range phone. The LG GUI and bloatware are atrocious, though.
I didnt even a section for it on the forums.

Ask Mt he has one so you could get his opinion on the phone.

Rehomed is basically the stock rom with Bing removed (Google installed instead) and some apps removed, but not stripped down like Revolt. Ive used Revolt for several weeks and liked it alot but I prefered the stock launcher over using anything else so I switched to Rehomed. I cant say its any slower honestly and the stock rom was pretty quick to begin with so... its apples and oranges... which do you prefer.
I am going to install bloat freezer and remove more apps I know I wont use, but im really happy with it so far.
Word...I'm liking revolt.Wish there was more developer's for our revolution if I was smart enough I would be making some..ohh well keep up the good work making the 2 roms we got now...can't wait til we get gingerbread

gingerbread will be great for 2 reasons 1 so we can actually have gingerbread into custom roms based off of that and so we can get cm7 going. It's a win win!

Don't get 4G in my area so I would of never known.
I was browsing r/android and I came across this thread:
Showing the upcoming update list for some verizon phones
and I noticed that it looks like we may be getting some type of update on or around 5/16, according to the second picture:
Here
Anyone have any ideas what this may be? I know it's not going to be a major update like ICS, or they would include us in that list and probably make a big deal out of it, but with zv8 having just come out, I wonder what they could be pushing now.
If that's correct its a pretty big update. 127mb

Our update is 21mb. The line below that is the spectrum which is 127mb. I wonder what is getting updated though. I had my first random reboot ever this morning and I have had the phone since October.

I'd much rather have ICS then have the touch screen issue fixed
Well we already know we aren't getting ICS might as well hope for the next best thing

Sweet, that's 2 updates within a few months. Can't complain there!
Coming from T-Mobile LG thrill and g2x. I'm familiar with unlocking and all that good stuff just wondering if the vivid can be used with T-Mobile.
Also how the data speeds are if anyone is using it with T-Mobile.

I wonder if this will be of any use to PG in getting ICS up and running on the Revo?
ICS for the Revolution... I can't see that happening at all. Definitely not buying an LG phone when my upgrade comes around.

Honestly I don't worry about it or think much of it happening. Just wondered if there may be anything of use from the spectrum/lucid ICS update.

Yep, it's looking like b.o is it for us (unless pg pulls of the incredible). No more LG for me either now
