Yes i did full wipe and also install another ROM but it doesnot help Really guys please help me with my problem because im running out of ideas what to do ..
Did You install drivers from Flashtool folder?
And - does Your x8 recognize the charger? Cause maybe USB port is damaged.
i did install Gordon's Gate..
Well when i plug in the cable my x8 is charging ..
i also tried to connect my brother x8 to the computer but the same thing happens , i cant enter flashmode and i cant see my sdcard ..
oh yea i forgot to add that the same cable its working on my other computer but not working on this one ;(
You have to keep the back button pressed and then plug the usb cable, and release the button when green light appears...
Maybe this helps!

yes thats exactlly what im doing , yesterday it was working perfectly but now it does not . But the key is that the green light its not appearing.I don't know what is the cause of that.
Sounds like something terrible!
Can't the x8 be flashed while in recovery mode? Once this happened to my tab, it wasn't going to flash mode, luckily it flashed in recovery(cwm) mode also!

OK i tried to look for the drivers but as far as i can see they are not there.Hey does PCC still installs the drivers automatically? because some time ago i remember it was , it was actually saying ''installing drivers'' or something like this , but now i downloaded the newest version and there is only install bar , not any other as it was in previous versions ... maybe thats the cause that i dont have proper drivers?
I have this problem too week ago. I tried to connect and disconnect the usb. Didnt work. When i checked again, usb port on my computer didnt mount my usb cable correctly.
thanks for the thanks......

So I was flashing a stock rom from Odin, and Odin froze, so I unplugged the phone and took out the battery. Now, when I try to get into download mode, all I get is a screen with a phone-!-computer. Even with a usb jig, it just goes to this screen. My captivate is also not recognized by the computer when I plug it in when its on the phone-!-computer screen.

But I don't see the Libusb tab in device manager when I plug my phone in.
When u initially installed the drivers for Heimdall, they only installed to the usb port that u were connected to. So u need to be plugged into that specific port and then u should see it in the Device Manager.
And u really don't need to uninstall the drivers that u need for Heimdall, as long as u installed them after u installed the drivers from Kies. See this post... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19998299&postcount=115
And if u have tried everything in the Stickied thread--Captivate Connection Issues and Download Mode Help to no avail, then ??

Yep I made a jig and it works but it doesn't go to the downloading screen with the shovel instead it just goes to the screen with the phone exclamation computer.
Then try this...may sound odd but anyway--just pull ur battery and leave it out for 5 minutes or so and then put it back in and try getting back into download mode and see what happens.
Btw, which stock odin were u trying that got u in this mess ?

happened to my cappy yesterday. went through 7 hours to fix mine. had the same issue as yours. no download mode showing with any combo I try even recovery had 4 micro usb cables and still my pc is choosy. that screen is actually download mode. you just need the proper drivers for the pc to read it. I used the one from heimdall. tried for atleast 100x before my pc recognizes my cappy as gadget serial and then boom! after installing, uninstalling and reinstalling all is A-ok now. just try it and have faith on your cappy

What did you try before it was recognized? Did you just plug and replug the usb into the computer until it worked?
Mine did this before, when I accidently forgot to convert back to RFS before flashing back to stock, and I thought I was totally screwed. After this screen comes up the first time it will not go away, even if a download jig is used, until you get a good flash.
Try this:
Open your Odin, and have it ready with whatever you were trying to flash to begin with. Pull the battery on your phone, put your download jig in, and now put your battery in. It will still be the error screen that comes up. Pull your jig, and now plug your phone in. It should show on Odin now, and this flash should take correctly.
---------- Post added at 01:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:50 AM ----------
Also make sure the USB port you are using is a direct link to your board. I always use one of the original USB 2 ports on the back of my computer. Not using a USB hub either, but straight from the port to your phone.
Hey guys.. it's me again..
With a little question..
i've searched for a solution and i found nothin unfortunately ..
Maybe it's me .. i don't know ..
Anywhore..

nAa Kernel?
Well... let us try to diagnose the horse the other way around ...
When you connect the X8 in Flash Mode does Windows show the device as "SEMC Flash Device" in the Device Manager OR is it some "SEMC HSUSB Device" without a driver (yellow exclamation mark) OR isn't it recognized at all?
- If it's correctly recognized as SEMC Flash Device then Flashtool should be able to recognize the phone (assuming you're doing everything right).
- If it's mis-identified as "SEMC HSUSB Device" look around in the Forums - there's a modded Android driver that resolves this problem (this happens with one of the custom kernels ... I fail to remember if it happens with nAa or Alfs).
EDIT: Seems the misdetection only happens by chance with Alfs, but in case you experience that problem see this post.
- If it's not recognized at all ... check you're keeping the back button pressed while connecting the X8 to the PC until it's being recognized - check your USB cable - try another USB port - check your System for possible virii infections.

yes the exclamation mark says that you donot have proper drivers
search and install the latest drivers for your phone .. shouldnt have taht exclamation mark
the drivers should also come with your flash tool .. in the drivers folder ..
you can right click in device manager select update driver .. and point to teh drivers in your flashtool ..
if you dont have a copy .. search for new drivers elsewhere and install

Well My sister and her boyfriend were trying something whit her phone, I dont have a clue what the hell they were trying, at the end of the day, she comes to me with her LG P970H with the screen S/W Upgrade please wait while upgrading.
I try to Connect the Phone to the PC with the battery and The Pc makes a Sound and says that the USB is not recognized.
I connect the Phone without Battery And the same happens, Sound and not recognized.
Connect Pressing the Vol - , Same happens
Connect Pressing the Vol + Same Happens
Connect Pressing the both buttons with and without the battery Same Happens.
Allright then its the drivers, I go Ahead and download the Lasted Usb Drivers from LG, Try again and nothing new happen.
Download some Old Usb Drivers, Same thing nothing new happens.
Why and When does the S/W upgrade Please wait while upgrading screen appears. I think I can install another OS or make a Hard reset on the Phone if i can get the PC to Detect it. Its not the Cable and its not the PC. Tried 3 diferent cables and 2 pcs and a Macbookpro. I live in mexico and im phone company its TELCEL if that helps.
It appears as soon as i turn on the phone.
PD: please if you know what im dealing with , write the answer for dumb people like me, its hard to know what you are talking about when using names like ST, KDZ and stuff and english its not my mother languaje so dumb it for me. THX!
You must read this.
And you need the bin and fls from KDZ to extract and root your device(if you want it rooted). Since here you should look for yourself.
A soft reset is keep pushing Vol+ + Power for 5 secs.

I think the phone was rooted i really dont know i think they were trying to update the system. I tried the Soft Reset Nothing happens, I think its not charging anymore it will only turn on when i connect the Usb cable. I tried removing the battery for 10 mins and tried again all steps. My Problem its that the pc Detects that theres an Usb, but it wont recognize it.
After i plug in the usb cable to the phone and i disconect it, it will remain with S/W upgrade screen for a few seconds before turning itself off. I cant turn it on by the power button.

Just press F8 during bootup. if you get a promt fo selecting boot-device, press enter and quickly hit F8 again.
when System is booted remove the Batterie, press and hold vol+ and connect to usb (Batterie is still removed)

Are You sure you disabled Driver Signature Enforcement.
this must be done every reboot you do or your phone will not be recognized in S/W Upgrade Mode. After flashing with SFT it is not needed. Only for flashing in S/W Upgrade Mode.
The currently available drivers work fine with x64...
I never used SFT on x86, and I never had a problem. I didn't even need to disable driver's signature enforcement, ever.
What's weird here is that his phone boots in to S/W upgrade mode without any key press. It seems to me that now you got there a flashlight...lol
Hi everybody,
First, i would apologize for my poor English, and I hope you'll understand me
Phone : Xperia SP // Paranoid Android // LBL
Computer : Drivers Flash/Fast installed // Flashtool installed // SEUS installed
For 10 days, I get a little problem, my XSP don't restart. In the morning, my phone was 100% loaded, and I plugged in a bad battery charger from ebay. After use it, I would like to lock the screen and black screen but back light doesn't switch off. I tried to unlock the screen but i couldn't. Then i pressed off button behind the case and i was expecting that the XSP restarts, but nothing.
I re-plugged it on my good battery charger and the LED stays off.
I let it for 10 days and today i re plugged it to wall battery charger and surprise! the LED switch on red. Then I tried to get it onto flashmode but when I plug XSP to the computer with volume - pressed, there's nothing happen.
Is anybody could help me? Pliiiiiiiiiz!

Yes I'm sure, I disable driver signature checking in W8.1, and I installed fastboot/flashmode driver. But to be really sure, can you get me a link to download guenuine fastboot/flashmode please?
Thank you for your answer anyway!

You should try the Minimal ADB and Fastboot. It's a really great tool if you don't wish to download the whole Android SDK.
Also see the FlashTool Xperia Driver Pack by @DooMLoRD. Downloading and choosing Fastboot and Flashmode Drivers while installing this driver pack will probably fix your problems. :highfive:
Press Thanks if I helped you

You should also go into the Device Manager and see if your device is listed there or if it is shown as an Unknown Device. If nothing is shown click Scan for hardware changes and see if something comes up! :fingers-crossed:

USB Debugging mode has nothing to do with Flashmode. We can go into flashmode even if there is no ROM installed. As USB Debugging is a setting which can be toggled inside the ROM I don't think it has any effect on Flashmode. So thats not your problem.
Have you tried the steps I mentioned above?

Yes but the Minimal ADB and Fastboot doesn't recognize the phone when it's plugged but I successfully installed the FlashTool Xperia Drivers Pack!
But when I plug my XSP with volume-, it still doesn't work...

New tests :
When the XSP is unplugged, the LED light up twice when I pressed power button
When I plugged XSP, the LED light up and my computer recognize that a device is plugged (it's sound like), and then turn off for a second and at this time the computer think I unplugged the phone, and finally the LED gets red and after few minutes, there is no LED anymore...

That is definitely because of a driver problem. Goto Device manager and then try connecting the phone. When you connect it there will be a new entry in the list of connected devices. Right click that and uninstall those drivers and try starting over.

I tried, but when I plug the XSP, it's too quick to get into Device Manager, the sound notify that the phone is plugged but 1 second later, it's unplugged.

Now I'm stuck with no OS, TWRP won't recognize OTG, tried to transfer files via ADB sideload but my PC won't recognize my phone and when I connect it through Fastboot I don't get the FASTBOOT USB :'(. Now I don't know want to do guys I need your help here guy's please.

Try to press volume down + power off buttons to enter fastboot mode.
You have to find a bright light, move your phone closer to the light, the light sensors should face the light, then press those buttons. I dont know why the light but it worked for me. I used a lamp as you can see in the aatachment.

Looks like something is wrong with the usb. If you can't get "FASTBOOT USB" to show in bootloader when your phone is connected, that's because it's not detecting any data connection with the computer. Make sure your usb cable works fine with other device (not only for charging but also for data transfer) or try another usb cable. Try another usb port on your computer and make sure to use usb 2.0 ports. Also make sure you have he latest drivers installed. If it's still not working after all this, maybe the phone usb port is damaged.,,

This trick is used for phones that refuse to power on, not for the problems described above.

THAK YOU ALRAY AND MOSE, I'm too guessing that it could be the usb port, Because I tired everything which you guys have mentioned in the reply and received all negative results and I think I may have to replace my mobile usb port. Will let you know guys and again thank you so much.
