Hi guys, I've flashed MIUI 5.2 yesterday and I didn't have time to play around with it. But I've noticed today that even when left idle, the battery drops from 100 to 84 in about 2 hours or so. All the other services are off except 3g. Plus when I fiddle around with it, the battery drop is even more noticeable. I went from darky 10.1-Miui5.2, just fyi with the default kernels on the miui page. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Miui is to heavy
If u want longer life then Miui aint for u.
Miui is by far the best rom for galaxy s ever if u like to be able to change every aspect of ur phone but the more a rom can do the more juice it takes.
If u want more life and less tweakeblity then u need to use pony roms like darky or ultimate aso.
Edit : Miui bat life is slowly increased by each release (5.2 is way better then 4.1)
Yeah I've noticed that. I switched back to Darky, happy to see 16hours of battery life again. But I wouldn't hesitate to go back to miui in the future though, provided the battery life increases. Or at least until juicedefender has some effect on it

flashing from stock to MIUI is a painful process and it reflects on the phone too !!
after such a vigorous beating from ODIN and Recovery flashing, the phones battery needs time to settle,
Do the battery calibration a few times, generally the battery will settle after a week, Until then its hard to judge battery life, albeit it is definitely less than a stock ROM, But some MIUI users report 1 day, some report short of 3 days..
so dont give up just yet

wow 3 days? imma try it again then, right after my battery finishes charging. what kernel do you think is the most ideal one to use? i live in the uk
Edit: I saw a guy getting 14% loss after 12 hours using JXJV6. Isn't JXJV6 a modem for the middle east? Is it possible for me to use it here in the uk?

im not sure about that modem, but i dont see why it wont work, i use at the moment ZSJV5 - i am in the uk too, that modem works fine for me .
As for the kernel, the latest Glitch V10 is good enough, you could also maybe undervolt and underclock just a little, this would increase battery life too.
but 2 -3 full cycle charges really makes a huge difference.
Awesome, I'll try that soon. Mind sharing the link for ZSJV5? And the app for undervolt and underclocking?
Edit: It seems that I have the insufficient storage space bug, I've read the faqs,
1.3 Apps not installing - Not enough memory message pop up (Known bug for CM7/MIUI)
1. (Using root explorer or any equivalent app) Delete folder /data/data
2. Copy "folder" /datadata to /data/
3. Change name of folder /data/datadata to /data/data/
But it still doesnt work. If I reboot, I have to go through the setup wizard again, and rootexplorer will be uninstalled. Any idea how to fix this as well?
Hello, I'm starting this thread to actually discuss general battery usage patterns/ concerns. I figure this might be helpful for some people if not then..... =P
currently im using stock gb battery monitor to roughly monitor my battery usage, there is a mod to make the reading more accurate but i havent applied it yet...
Also... lets put up screen of the best battery life we've managed to get our phones here heee, would be fun to see =P

question is,
1) is it normal for mobile standby and phone idle to be ard 50% ish?
2) is it normal for my phone to stay in awake mode when i turn on the alarm

Nice idea..
I charge my OB every night, and reboot after alarm in the morning. I dunno if it is from alarm or charging but if I don´t reboot the juice is gone in about 8 h. also battery usage app is frozen. I have this issue on every ROM, ( stock 2.3,CM7 from kang to about 60, marvell, zeus test v2.1, nova v8).
If i do the reboot in the morning the phone uses about 50% of the battery during the day (17 h). i use it for a few sms´s and calls, about an hour of websurf (wifi) and some facebook/ Xda usage..

I dunno, if in not mistaken, when you reboot it deletes your old battery stats bin but I'm still trying to understand how resetting a stat could make the battery last longer its what most battery calibration apps claim to do...
For me once a week I manually delete the stats thru cwm and yeah it does make the battery seem more resilient.....
And yeah I got the same again as my photo again, phone stays awake when I turn alarm on.... :/

I did all in my battery, but the maximum is a day and a half!
Depends on the intensity of use.
I'm using Android 2.2.2, v10a

Deleting batterystats.bin does nothing to callibrate your battery. It just stores info, like a logger. BatteryUsage retrieves the info to display it.

Something is causing a wakelock, what happened to you is not normal. Usually a reboot solves things like that, if it doesnt, then it will either be a rom bug or an app holding the wakelock. Use Better Battery Stats to find whats causing it.
thanks for the app recommendation found that my dialer is causing a portion of my wake lock..... and system too.... hmmmm
ok lets just say my dialer keeping my phone in a wake lock is caused by malware... would a clean install of a rom and manually reinstalling of apps w/o data get rid of the malware?
meanwhile... googling wakelocks =D
Hi, I have some experience with sudden huge battery drains and wakelocks etc. both on stock V20N and Zeus v3.2n. I did not figure out how/why it works but here are some things you can try. I did not have any huge battery drains anymore the last 24h! (on Zeus v3.2n, did not try on V20N stock)
- I have an IMAP email account installed with K9 mail and an ordinary hotmail account with the hotmail app. Both accounts are set on push and in this configuration the hotmail app causes my wifi to never go to sleep, causing increased battery drain. Removing the hotmail app solves the problem.
- automatic update of time and date settings can cause wakelock. Unchecking Settings > Date & time settings > Automatic might solve your problem. I read this somewhere on XDA.
- Use wireless networks to determine location might cause wakelocks as well. Unchecking Settings > Location & Security > Use wireless networks might solve your problem. Read this somewhere on XDA again.
As I said, I did all of this and my wakelock problem is gone for at least 24h! Now I already have 60h on one battery and still 43% left... I cannot remember the threads where I read about this but if needed I can search... Also I did not try yet whether any single thing actually caused my problem. I just killed all of it as I do not miss it I am happy. Keep me updated if you found out which one worked for you
Tip: the BetterBatteryStats app is written by somebody on the XDA forum, you can download the apk for free from some thread in XDA (search is your friend)
I think a day and a half is a good battery lifetime for the OB, if there is no app or something that drains the battery in a hard way.
I can manage to get this with the marvel rom, and my personal user-settings. Also i think every smartphone u can actually get needs to be charged around every 24 hours.
I also want to share my experience. I use the cm7 2.3 gb rom and the battery response is very bad. Battery completely dead in 18 hours. Then i switched to v20n german gb rom. It gives me better battery timing about 28 -30 hours on normal use. The i change the settings of account syncronization of gmail, hotmail, facebook etc to manual. Then there is a big difference in battery drainage. Now my battery consumed in 48 hours on normal use.
Sent from my LG-P970 using XDA
On android phones, if yours phone gives u 24 hours backup then it has good battery timing. Further you can increase the timing through the steps and trick mentioned by different peoples in this thread

Battery should last at least 18 hours on normal usage with 3G and sync with gmail , contacts and calendar. Sometimes you just turn off so many things to just make it home with some battery in it....
battery is mainly kernel related...
we need good kernels that all..
Thank you for the wakelock tips.
It seems that V20o is way better than all the other ROMS concerning battery, without any tweak. Maybe it can be further optimizet with tweaks.
A short comment: it is true that theoretically battery is kernel related issue, but in a real world high battery drain is usually caused by bad apps and other non-kernel related things.
using zeus v5.03 lite.
battery drains so much when the screen off. nearly 1 percent in every 2 minutes.
but it is ok when the screen off
Ok wasn't an sod but a random reboot, and it reset my apn settings twice when that happened

Hi,
What is your battery life on the Note? Does it last a day even two?. If it does, then that is pretty much normal. You whine on a phone that you just use for only 2 days? Stop whining and complaining. You havent have had utilize the full charge and recharge cycles of your battery and now your whining already.. Man, give your Note a week or two and your battery life will be okay.
Hmm.. Is this the first time you use an android device? What phone where you using.before? If you we're using a non android device e.g. Symbian or etc. Then my reaction to your complains (of your Note) is justifiable. Symbian for the fact has always been known to be very good or decent in terms of battery life.
Now android OS, is known throughout (irregardless what smartphone/tablet you have) to have the AOS bug. It is a bug where there's some sort of a battery leak and hencefort most android users tend to root their phones so that they can stop background stock applications from running in the background. The births of custom ROMS and Kernels have given some tremendous wonders also especially on phone's UI and more so on battery management.
Again. Stop complaining and go down root your phone and install battery saving apps or custom ROMs. It's all over the thread anyway.
The sooner you customise your phone to your heart's content, the better you can appreciate it's full potentials.
Cheers!!!

My battery life is 5 - 6 hours. I am accept 12 hours. I wish it last 12 hours. Before I used Iphone4, it is not so long for battery life , however it is acceptable. I did not understand how notes's battery life so short.
Moreover I can not use custom rom. because they r not good as well as stock rom. ALl of them have some problems. But I can change my kernel.
to get battery life you either
a) dont use your phone or
b) get information to use your phone more wisely
So..
a) download a battery monitor.. there are a bunch recommended..
b) read the other 200 threads on battery life and dont start another one. Each and every question has been asked and answered ad nauseum
while you are figuring out root, and task killers, here are a few easy tips to help..particularly when you are putting the phone down for a while
apps>task manager>active apps> CLOSE ALL
apps>task manager> RAM> CLEAR MEMORY
settings>applications>running services> review and shut down apps/games that may be running in background (and that are not critical)
Again.... RESEARCH the forum.. the answers are already here. and you should read and post in existing threads

You could also have a defective battery.
On my iPhone 4, my first of 4 that were faulty, battery life depleted in less than 12 hours of STANDBY only on wifi, nothing syncing. Only being on. Battery life was so bad.
It's not uncommon to get a dud battery sometimes.
Try doing a complete restore, stock EVERYTHING, don't push anything (except email, cal, and contacts, you know, the basics) and see if you're having the same results. If on a fresh, stock, install you're having the same issues, then you've got a defective unit and/or battery.
Hope I've helped.

There are quite decent custom roms for the Note. I have tried many gingerbread versions (Chracks, rocketrom, cassies etc) currently on chrack's v18 small (LC1) with speedmod latest kernel.
I have not faced performance issues on this. But each user is different so u r the boss.
Best give the custom kernels a try for now. If u find the battery life better then ur problem is solved. The advantage of custom rom is that so much useless bloatware in the stock is removed for better space mgt & performance.
have provided some tips in the following link, feel free to go thru.

dude, you are ridiculing some of the well known devs who have made custom ROMS for all to appreciate and use. IF there was and is a problem on a particular custom ROM, it is or might be cause indirectly on the user itself, on what apps he/she insatalled on his phone. Surely you cannot generalize all custom ROMS have problems do you? if all have problems, the devs have some new revisions to fix those bugs and in no time at all your Note would be in tip-top shape again.
If as what you say, Custom Roms have problems.... then why the heck most people I know have used them and have big wide grin on their face to show off what they have and even posting a copy of their latest ROM pictures here... not to mentioned in YouTube as well.
ok. Which rom is the best stable than ? Which I should use ?
go read the threads on battery performance.. loading a new ROM will not fix problems if you do not know what you are doing.

Hi there.
I had the same issues but only after the update done on ICS.
I have over 140 different application and nearly all of them have been purchased.
What happens is that, when you are not using your phone it should go to "deep sleep". This allows your phone not to run any application and merely use any battery. Your problem probably come from somewhere in your setting an automatic update. That drains a lot....
I downloaded different application hoping that it would work out such as Juice Defender, watch dog and many others. After lots of research, I found out that it is not good for your phone to have an auto killer app or even an application that modifies the functions of other applications.
So I downloaded battery spy and cpu spy on "google play" and followed the instructions.
I needed a deeper analytic application "Kernel" and this was THE application that allowed my phone to go from 6-8 hour to 28 hours.
"Better battery stats", it's not free but was really worth the spending.
Google play chronological download
1) watch dog
2) battery spy
3) cpu spy
4) better battery stats
Good luck
I keep switching my cellphone off while not using, and same goes for wifi. Using it as a secondary phone as well. It lasts only 4-6 hours.. :S I keep closing background apps, and kill app once im done with it..
Also be aware that in areas with bad network strenght, the GNote really suffers.
I normally have no complains (0,6-1,5% battery usage per hour) but where I am now, the GNote really works hard to keep the connection and my consumption easily goes to 4-6% in deep sleep and 15-20% when using it...

If you like stock samsung looks try CleaNote 3.10 , very good n battery life , I get around one day backup with heavy usage and 2 days plus with moderate usage .
If like pure google , then try cm9 , very stable and quite good on battery back up .
And if you dont use 3g or 3.5 g or any such networks then select GSM only or use 2g networks only ( Settings -> under wireless and connectivity , More -> Mobile Networks )
Also keep your display brightness to minimum , control the brightness manually instead of auto brightness .
Turn off auto sync ( big advantage over battery ) .
Scan for running apps and cached apps and force stop the ones which you dont use .
Use titanium back up and freeze some of the bloatwares ( stock samsung apps ) or uninstall them , like readers hub , mydiary , they are **** .
And dont use task killers , they drain your battery . they may clear rom but some apps restart automatically and that needs more juice than running those apps . Hope all these suggestions help . From my experience with this phone

You need to purchase and install "better battery stats" and also install cpu spy (I'm assuming you're rooted) and use them to monitor your phone and battery in order to solve your issue. Google both and you'll find several good threads on xda about using and interpreting these apps, but if you get stuck post some screen shots from both and someone here can almost certainly help. There are a number of potential sources of such problems, generally rogue apps, and also a bug or two, but it is impossible to offer help without the details these apps would provide.

Thanks for that, i will install it. By the way i got the "battery widget" installed, which has gained popularity on the market.
Also im only using 9% of brightness of my phone.
I'm using a rooted stock 4.0.3 and I'm finding battery life its pretty good - better than unrooted GB was in fact. Simply freezing bloatware via titanium and limiting sync on some (not all) apps and services makes a gigantic difference. Design your phone around your own needs and you'll end up with an amazing device that you'll fall in love with all over again.

My phone (galaxy mini) has battery life issue on cm10.1 rom, which is that battery drains very very fast. for example, i just do texting, browsing, tweeting and lil bit gaming, my phone battery lasts only for 4 hours, even less. i ve used tweaks, scripts, apps to improve the battery life.
I found these all work:
No. 1: calibrate your battery
drain your battery till your phone shut down, charge it till is full (wait till no charging sign on the battery icon - ignore charged notification on lockscreen).
do it couple of times.
No. 2:

No. 3:
odex the rom (partially, so you are able to change phone's theme).
Follow these steps:
1. move these apps : contacts,
mms, phone, settings and systemui, from /system to another folder (use non-default launcher).
2. run the app (attached on this thread forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2156287 ).
3. ur phone will automatically reboot.
4. move back contacts,
mms, phone, settings and systemui to the /system after odex has finished.
No. 4: recalibrate battery using rom
(use lastest erikcas' cm10.1 rom or goldchang's cm10)
it happens times ago.
so today i backed up the rom. then i installed goldchang's cm10 (my phone lasts up to 12 hours in standar usage when i was using this rom), i used this rom for couple of hours, and i backed it up. then i did factory reset-wipe cache partition-wipe dalvik cache and battery stats. and i restored rohan's rom. i dont know how, but now my battery life gets much much longer. it's been almost 6 hours (when im typing this thread), my battery has 29% remaining. for me it's superr.

the trick is with battery stats wipe and not with goldchangs rom...that's quick calibration..
some times old battery data might cause excessive drain..so wipe battery stats also while installing a new rom...it wont effect much but u never know..i recently saw an article about this in google tech page somewhere
but mostly the drain might due to an app, so see if the app activity is still running in background even after u killed it..if such an app exists then uninstall it u will get more battery life..
actually, i wiped battery stats after fully charged maany times and freeze some apps too, those things didn't work.
well, like i mentioned before, i have no idea how it happens, but my battery life gets much longer, for real, yay.
yeah, but what if the 'background' app is must not be stopped i.e launcher, we shouldn't stop it right?
we talking about 1200mah baterry, righT? manufacture said it last for 6 hours of Edge, that means heavy usage, right? so, if you are using your phone a lot, that means 6 hours of internet, mms and calling, it wont get any over 6hours...for me, facebook offiiciall app and whatsapp drain battery like hell...so i delete fb, but whatsapp is must for me...same result...so no matter you do, even with deep sleep, its 6 hours of heavy usage...i also have Nokia e7, same capacity of battery, and same durability, 6 hours of heavy usage, except on nokia e7 battery goes quickly for its screen , not background app...android consume a lot of battery, its a fact, so there is no a chance that someone else calibration or tweaks can result better battery capacity...but, if you set your CPU mhz at normal level (600-248 at ondemand), you can get a good battery backup...is that cpu level its ok for you, than its ok..but running cm10.1 with that cpu level for anything else but music and opera mini, its useless...so, what ever you do, its still 1200mah capacity, remember that...your usage, is something else
take a look at my first post, my phone had has three 'phases':
1. rohan's rom before (poor battery)
2. goldchang's (awesome battery)
3. rohan's after (awesome battery, yay!)
my phone usage on those three is nearly same, even the number three i suppose is the heaviest because i haven't charge my phone till now (i charge whenever battery came to 4-1%, it's long enough from my last charging). take a look at ss.
here's a thread about battery calibration
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821870
*there's a link tells that battery calibration is a myth, IDK
About Battery Callibration, I dont think it increases battery life. It just resets the .bin file stats to show the battery indicator (in status bar) correctly. Do it once after you flash a new ROM (after charging 100% + 15-30 minutes) & then calibrate either from CWM by resetting battery stats/ using the app in playstore called battery callibration . It will then show the correct battery indications.
Many people dont do this and then they complain about battery dropping suddenly but it is actually not dropping. Its just the indicator which is wrong.

Only the first time you flash a new ROM. Just let that notification come and then charge an extra 15-30 minutes & then callibrate once. Thats more than enough.
Re: [Tips] Prolong Battery Life on Rohan007's cm10.1 rom
I tested battery with Extremely Heavy and Harsh usage. And it lasted for 1:40 mins.
What was the test?
Running whatever the phone could.
So what was running?
1. Wifi(scanning mode, not connected to any wifi)
2. Bluetooth (scanning mode all the time not just 120sec; not paired, connected with any device)
3. GPS with Gps essentials app: struggling to lock GPS for 15 min, then locked for 10min, then again lost the lock... in short it was alternating in lock and unlocked states with time gap of 10-15 min as I was indoor)
4. Video Playback: Alternating Background/foreground playback of 320x240 to 640x480 res Videos with mx player
5. Screen brightness 100%, wake lock on, speaker volume 50%, cpu usage 600mhz ondemand
6. camera on all the time(+ small 10min video recording), with gps essentials app
7. Egprs: 20min surfing, sync on all the time(no social apps)
8. May be I forgot something.
Specs:
Device: galaxy mini
ROM: CM7 autoradio v8 or CM10.1 (forgot)
Battery: A newly purchased genuine 15 day used battery.
Note:
Test date: 6-feb-2013
Everything I mentioned was CONSTANT, SIMULTANEOUS On for all the test period.
Battery was calibrated which was showing true stats.
I do not have any battery usage (right now searching for any screeshot if i captured, mistakenly )
phew, so harsh test. how did it managed. In normal scenario the battery only last for 4-5hrs with no gps, wifi, Bluetooth, camera or 3g on. Maybe I will switch to Stock rom for long lasting battery usage as battery charging even when the phone is off is totaly, wierd.
Like post? Just Thanks me in ur hearts, no need to "presss" thanks.

extremely dangerous, do not try this at home .
i thought GB stock rom has a poor battery life, even for standard usage.

Thought not, I'm switching to GB only for pure/normal usage with no root, no data hogging apps Just for few calls, one hour egprs browsing, enjoy local videos and music(no streaming).

currently not works on 4.2.2 build 15022013. tried it, tho, but it only gave me 5 hours battery life :/

take a look at my first post, my phone had has three 'phases':
1. rohan's rom before (poor battery)
2. goldchang's (awesome battery)
3. rohan's after (awesome battery, yay!)
my phone usage on those three is nearly same, even the number three i suppose is the heaviest because i haven't charge my phone till now (i charge whenever battery came to 4-1%, it's long enough from my last charging). take a look at ss.

you can do it with Titanium Backup Pro... settings > Integrate sys dalvik into rom
Hello guys, sorry for my bad english, but I'm not American. Well, my question is:
I bought from a guy a Galaxy S I900b, Brazilian model with digital TV. Came with stock 2.3. As I had already read enough before, upgraded to JWB Saurom with semaphore kernel, which I think is the default for this rom. Well, the phone had very poor battery life, evn on idle. Then upgraded to 10.2 CM. I saw that had some wakelocks, and with BBS and the help here, I used the Scan Media Root and my problems are gone in iddle. So, my phone goes into deep sleep and today during my sleep, only lost 3% battery, 3% battery drain on idle during about 5-6 hours it very good to me. But during use, it ends up very fast, and with GSAM and standard monitor of the android, I saw that after the screen, the Android system was what had higher %% battery. So what could it be ? The battery life is ok, checked on info, and its condition is 'good'. I use to Greenify, and close almost every game\app, so running is just grenify and ram manager pro.
So the prob just could be a app or the 'android system' ? Or even hardware ?
I dont have much time now, so any info or screenshot you want, I can provide later
Thanks
What about your connections? Do you have 3G/wifi enabled at all times?
calibrate....maybe useless, but u can try....but somehow, try bigger mAh battery, maybe.....n maybe .... it will help.
juz charge it with screen turn on till it full, n waste it to 0% till it shut down, turn it on n charge it with screen on till it full again, u ll be fine
if problem occur again, keep an eye for sneaky app that run at background (email...exchange etc) n juz delete some sys app that u dont use using titanium.
if it still occur again, wait for arc reactor battery....

I've deleted the batterystats.bin and used until 0%, so charged while off, but nothing :C
It's true that the battery needs to 'learn' ? Like, a few charges and discharges and could estabilize ?
I'll take a few screenshots right now
Callibration of you battery eg: Wipe battery stats is onluy helpfull when you get weird battery stats.
If you are on any CyanogenMod ROM you have to get used to the higher ammount of battery use by the phone. The application Greenify can help a lot by hibernating the huge battery suckers like facebook and google maps.
Some tips:
- use 2G instead of 3G
- Turn WIFI off when you're outside the house or leaving for some time
- Turn GPS/Bluetooth on only when you're about to use it
- Dont use taskkillers (they are used to free up ram but killing apps makes android restarts them and this consumes extra juice)
- Put brightness on Auto
- Use a dark theme and background/lockscreenwallpaper
- Dont recharge your phone when below 5% this can damage the battery
- A new battery needs to "Get used to" the life of being a battery xD After a few recharging cycles it will work like normal
Here some screenshots, if need more, just ask
Note: Was with 14%batt, rebooted and drops to 11-10%

i am using greenify on almost everything.
used to use ram manager, but now i've disable it.
brightness is on low
I really dunno what 2 do ... almost 1 week with it and this insane drain, everyone says that plays or browser on wifi and get almost 10 hours... my dream this happen to me lol
Remember that this is just on use, on idle it use virtually nothing, like I said, almost 3% on sleep, but is just I start use with app or browser and its gone
Screens are from a too short period of useage. Use it from fully charged, and make some new screenies This can help futher
Well i got problems with my battery too so im planning to buy a new one because this one cant even handle 3-4 hours when im doing something like playing games,or listening music...Just buy new battery with more mAh and dont get bother with this

About 2 hours later that I fully charged, here are some ss
Just used whatsapp and opera in this time
I was thinking in change my kernel, currently I'm using semaphore 3.0 with CM10.2, is Latrop or Mackay better in battery life ?
I think its my last shot ... I'll provide a new battery next week, but i've heard some people with batt probs that even with new batt the problem persists :crying:

It looks like wifi and 3G have been kept on for most/all of the time. Turning those off while you're not using them may significantly increase battery life.
Also, related to kernels, personally I've found Mackay to be a bit better in terms of battery.
Also it looks like your screen's pretty bright if 61% of the battery usage is because of it. So if you don't need it so bright turning the brightness down may help.
Start by doing those, and see how your battery life fares first- if not much changes, then it may help getting a bettery battery/changing rom even.

So, like i said, in this 2 hours after charge, i've used opera mini with wifi, I dont use 3g. Right now the battery is less than 10%... it's strange since have people telling that can use almost 5 hours wifi and the battery is > 50%
And the brightness is at lowest bright :\
The problem could be some corrupted file ? I have the options:
- format EVERYTHING, and dont use titanium backup, since somthing can be corrupted.
- change my kernel to Mackay
- change my room back to SAUROM 2.3.6 adn semaphore kernel
I'm very sad cuz I have a very old Nokia E5 that can be on with wifi almost or more than 10hours ... and this phone can barely hold 5hour
What u suggest me to do ?

How long have you been using the rom? Roms take time to calibrate the battery and this is through charge/discharge cycles.
Alternatively, go into Performance settings and change the profile to powersave/conservative (it differs from rom to rom). Lock the min CPU frequency to 200mHz- apparently this helps.
Again, this would change depending on your kernel.
And if you have a three year old battery like mine, best not to expect miracles...

Using bout 2 days ... but i didnt knew about ' calibrate '. Good to know that
Now i've formated everything and will put a stock 2.3 and see in a couple of days the perfomance ... if gets better, I put the saurom 2.3.6 and be with it, cuz 2.3.6 on brazilian model allow to use digital tv, and 2.3 everyone says is economic.
I'll get this updated if my situation changes, if not, will buy a new battery
Thanks for all your help
Note: How long your batt last ? With high\low usage
