anyone who has ever installed CM9 should know this already. There's been a place-marker for themes in CM settings menu for a LONG time.

hey guys.. i rocked this theme on my incredible before i got my thunderbolt its an awesome theme and has sick animations and boot animation.. was wondering if someone could port it so it can work on our phone!

um if its a theme apk for the theme engine why do you need to port just apply it with the theme chooser.
I didnt relaize its an apk now back when i ran it it was a flashsble zip like a normal theme my bad

I wonder if there's a sticky thread which has a compiled list of available theme apks on XDA for the Tmo theme engine to pick and choose from. I'm going to take a look at some of the forums for older devices such as the EVO and hopefully there is one. I'm currently rocking the Linear theme here and absolutely love it.

Guess what? This will probably be the final version of this mod! We were unnecessarily over complicating the search key remap. Well there. Fixed it. This should work on every ICS ROM for our device. But I've tested it on CM9, MIUI, AOKP, and Paranoid. No promises.
This is a slight modification to remap the search button to Recent Apps. I think it's loads more useful and destroys that extra half second of time it takes to hold down the home button. Think I'm being anal?(I am) You try using the capacitive epic parts mod. Holding down the button just doesn't work sometimes. And that makes me a sad panda.
I will be maintaining the search key remap for sure. I still need to look into the app switcher a bit more.

This is using framework changes. It won't work with the AOKP builds.

I did some investigating and will be testing a mod tonight. Should have something up tomorrow for remapping the search key.
Since we have a variety of roms, are people interested in these mods for all varieties of our ICS roms?

cool idea, downloading now. Gonna flash this when I switch back to cm9. messing around with miuigb right now, then updating aokp, then going back to cm9 to check out some themes. this sounds cool tho. Anyone who's tried it able to comment on functionality?

+1 to aokp, is it possible to get this on miuiv4 as well? Jw. Also, the search key mapping sounds good too. But, doesn't this already pop up when you long press the home key? I'm also not sure, but I'm thinking cm9 will have options for long pressing menu, home, and search keys upstream.

Doesn't work with AOKP Build 29?
I couldn't get this to work with Build 29 of AOKP, fyi. It gets stuck in an infinite loop when booting up.

Yeah alpha 0 and 0.1 are build 28 and the only mods that are interchangeable between builds are apps because the system is different. My question for the dev is will this be updated to b29 or are you just going to wait to b30 because I'm not moving from b28 without this.

Its really really stable its just as good is alpha 0.1 but is on 4.0.4.
Edit: forgot to mention it only is experimental because b29 was only officially released on a few phones.

Yeah, I can see why you didn't bother doing it for an "experimental" version but it is just as stable as the previous builds so I've been running it as my daily driver.
I will work on the 2 Mods for AOKP build29.
Should be posted later tonight.
Well I used to love the Honeybread theme for CM7 back on my HD2. Now on GNex, while I like stock ICS theme and the custom ones, I very much miss Honeybread. I would be very grateful if someone took up making the Honeycomb theme for CM9/AOKP.

BUMP this up, really hope someone can port one of the honeycomb themes to CM9
This is my first CyanogenMod theme, and its just been put on the market. I'm calling it X-Vision Blue, and its a theme I have put many months into developing and I doubt I will ever finish so please be sure to give me a review positive or negative although if you have some criticism, be kind about it so I can look into fixing any issues. Please get the market version because I will make changes and add other screen sizes over time. Feel free to make any suggestions in the reply posts or market reviews, I will read them all. Also stay tuned for my lime green theme which hopefully won't take too much longer but I do have school work to do in the run up to Christmas but I might make it into a present in the form of a free download link for all who buy my blue theme up to Christmas.
Built for CM10 but should work on any ICS or JB rom with the T-Mobile Theme Chooser

I have the latest update on the market, not updating the beta as it was only intended as a free beta. I'm working on green and using my green keyboard as I type but its a long way off as I can't seem to be able to use the same base theme as a template so I have to start from scratch. Almost immediately after the green theme is done though I should be able to upload purple and orange

no sorry I think thats an mdpi or ldpi phone and I havent added complatibility for that yet, the theme has been pretty much abandoned for now until I have the time to complete it
I am in no way affiliated with paranoid android.. Just wanted to get that out of the way.. OK I'm looking for people who make theme chooser themes to make themes for paranoid android 3.5 and up...as I look in the play store the selection of themes specific for this ROM are very limited and often don't fully theme...anybody interested hit me up.. I'm looking for people on toro, toro plus, maguro , and mako...look forward to any responses

Well technically all theme chooser themes work on paranoid but not all will theme everything since paranoid has so many extra resources due to the resizing stuff.

Yeah I know that's why I was looking for some people who would... What's the point of a theme if it doesn't theme everything... That being said I know zilch on how to do it myself or else I would nor am I ungrateful for the developers who make them has I have purchased my fair share... Well, it does normally theme everything. However paranoid offers resizing which makes it almost impossible to theme everything. Due to that most themers hate paranoid actually because its a pain to theme for. Also, there are plenty of guides for making theme chooser themes. Might want to check them out and feel free to find good theme devs and email theme through play store and see if they'll be willing to help.
