[Port][ROM] Ihero -(re-continue soon!)-

OK, as i and heacatae talked about the Ihero port we came up to that were trying to port a CDMA verision to GSM, wich will make it harder to get the gsm to work (as the libs, is not located anywhere)
(P.S, Anyone know where CM7 2.3.2 Verision is, as the rom is based ony 2.3.2 we need 2.3.2 lib files)

its based on CM7 from htc imagic/ihero, i think its based on CM7 aswell

yes it is based on CM7, wich is heavly moded, as this is from a port, from a port, from a port,
everything wont work as of now, but its at least much thing that does not work
its a port to start with xP

no that is a p500 rom and has color issues! u have to modify carlosrom cuz thats the only that works for it.

Just flashed the ROM and the first thing that came to my mind was .... WOW !!!!
It has a lot of bugs, but I,m confident that SWEATTAIMI will be able to squash them and deliver us a working version.

Wow... How supportive you guys are.... Still this is fun no matter what you say.... I still research myself. And so you know probably in two days i'm gonna release a guide how to run debian + lxde on our mini without losing android . And btw - most of the guys release just news too.... But you don't say anything to them... Either way what you said got on my mind and i will keep that. But it won't change something major in me

They threw in the source for a few apps...that's all.

Because MIUI is based on CM, we just take CM9, integrate MIUI source (apps, framework) in CM9 source and compile.

Correct.
Miui guys just took CM and modified it and kept it as closed source for quite a time.
But I think first we needa have stable CM9.

For the short... my idea is work together with Nitin to make a new soul of miui with .35 kernel... (Wondering if I can play with it everyday... )
And for the long... miui ICS which already "kick off" by ardX and Zuk...

is cool mate if you get use new kernal .35 for rom miui,i have already tried it but not lucky....anyway for this rom next update i want to use kernal .35 and i already tried it and i get boot, but cant get signal line and give the reboot every minute..

Yes, you read that right! With the project cyano plus we will try to port the cyanogen mod 10 on our device (GT-S5570I).
As you may know many devices have hardware libraries updated to support the cyanogen mod, many, but our...... we have always said: Why the Galaxy Mini because galaxy mini has the cyanogen mod and we don't? Why the galaxy mini has a different chipset from our although the indirect predecessor of our device?
So, why port bring a cyanogen mod on our device? Impossible?? So why not create a rom that has the same motto of cyanogen mod: to be an alternative to the stock rom! For now, the project is limited to a stock-based rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2171934

I think closing the thread waiting for a release candidate is not the thing to do. There's people that will use the ROM even with all the bugs and the lag, if it's present.

A difference between porting and building, and if he did build it, it will never have hw and will be slow (due to the lack of GPU drivers)

Why so much hurry in making cm9 based roms..Let atleast stable version come..
My suggestion..Not discouraging you..But according to me wait for stable cm9..

This thing you said is absurd. Porting will create more bugs. And a port takes libs from base rom, so porting and building makes no difference at this point, but porting might create bugs as it was built for another device.
