Hmm why did they remove the sliding on notification bar to adjust brightness. It was a very handy future. Now you had to have automatic on or to have the widget to adjust on the 2 scales annoying :-(
Did they maybe implants it somewhere else? And I missed it?

I am using the built-in calendar to keep track of my appointments and set alarm notifications. Currently, when a notification happens, it makes a quick sound and then puts a notice in the pull down bar. Is there a way to make the notification persistent until I acknowledge it? I would like it to sound off every minute or two until it gets my attention. If it can't be done with the built-in calendar, is there a good app that will do this?
Don't think there's a way with the stock calendar. Calendar snooze app is what I use. You get two notifications initially but the app lets you choose your sound and it will persist.

Is it possible to reduce the size of the Notification pulldown on the Tab when it's in Landscape mode? It looks like 90% of the screen is taken up with the quick access buttons and the brightness slider. It's nearly impossible to scroll through the notifications...
Change your LCD density and it should work

The strangest thing is happening. If I adjusted the volume for ringtone and notification it does not effect the volume for notifications.. but if I muted the volume for notification and ringtone it.. mutes it lol. The only way I can lower the volume of my notifications is by lowering the media(music) volume....
What the heck

Update: wait.. ok so by controlling the volume using the side control it only effects the volume of the ring tone. But when I hit the gear and adjust the setting labeled "ringtone and notifications" it works. I just tested this. I didn't adjust the volume any higher or lower but just tapped the setting and sent myself a test text and it worked but only when I adjust it manually and not just using the side controls

My notification appear(when i receive a mail, sms), but when the display goes to sleep, and i wake it up, the notification (unread) disappear ... i must check the NOTIFICATION menu, to see if i have received something.
how do i change this ? i want the notification to stay on home screen until i read it...
Don't know if that's been achieved yet if you find a solution to that please let me know @CristyXy..

Is there any way to have notifications light up the display and show the notification details like they are displayed after double tap ?
Glance only shows tiny icons of apps, with no details at all.

You can use an app called lightflow, so it will turn on full screen when u receive notifications
