None, why? Because this should be in Android forums, thats why.
MIUI = Fail.

CM is the best
CM. MIUI just seems to change everything, it's too eye-candy'ish when I just want to unlock the screen instead of pull something seperate down and wait for the animation etc.
MIUI just offers a good UI.its buggy and quite unstable for gaming

Bah, I don't get all the "iPhonish" complaints about MIUI. How many people even use the stock launcher on the default Rom, let alone custom Roms like CM or MIUI? Cry me a river =p
Anyway, MIUI has been far more consistently stable for me than any other Rom I've tried, and this is especially true on Galnet. Theming is simple and I find it very easy to customize status bar, framework, etc. Also love the ease of customization of notifications and LED settings. Works perfectly with my overclock and V6 settings. Yep, I'm a MIUI fanboy just like many in here already are clearly CM7 lovas.
The gauntlet has been tossed at your feet, gentlemen!

I love 'em both. MIUI looks good, it has some very good built-in apps(music, dialer, messagaing and what not) etc., but CM has way better performance.
I'd say CyanogenMod anyway. My phone has a crappy processor and a crappy GPU, so I need a rom with good performance...
Not sure... Both are based on CM (you noobs), so the perfomance is great on both ROM's. I don't like the MIUI launcher but i like the rest, like the notification bar, the settings menus and so on.
Cm.

QFT. I've seen many change their tune once they've actually ran a stable build, and for more than an hour, at that. MIUI has a lot of great built in control and features, and the easy - yet extensive - theming is a huge bonus.
Either way, I'm all AOSP. In the end, that's what I see being the main thing. Always been a big CM fan, though. Love me some options.

currently neither... I'm on the rezound
now if we're talking about a while ago... I'd pick both. they're apples and oranges, and I've used both to much satisfaction.
The games i play give a better performance on cm rather than miui so i prefer cm

I've looked around for ages, and have seen no answer. Is there ANY WAY to add additional lockscreens in CM7 without having to download some crap like WidgetLocker.
I would really prefer to be able to just get the glass lockscreen or puzzle lockscreen or something similar... The ones included with CM7 kinda... stink.
..something like this one?

you can use widget locker and for this app you will find hundreds of lockerthemes
whatch mine: buddhadharmasangha.deviantart.com/#/d41b627
you can add lockscreens to cm7 using metamorph or zipthemer
I had this same question. I couldnt get widgetlocker to work on my Nook Color. Ill try the 2 above.
Widgetlocker stanks, IMO. I am watching this thread as I too would like to find if there is a way to install additional lockscreens. Actual lockscreens, like go to cmsettings and choose it.
Try this, it works a charm on CM7

Thanks but come on. I don't want all this bullcrap on my lockscreen. Just a beautiful puzzle piece of something of the sort would be great.
How is it that CM7 can be the most popular rom for so many devices, yet there seems to be just a few basic crap ass lockscreens?
Widgetlocker I tried and it absolutely sucks. Plus it is just an app running in the background, so it's just more ram to be used up and more battery to be drained.
Someone has to know where some lockscreens are at?
Yea, I think it would be pretty cool if CM added more lock screen options. For now, third party apps is all we have.

thing is, you just do not understand ... there´s no way in android!
lockscreen is closed for devs!
if you find widgetlocker bad, I´m sorry, but its the best you can get..all lockscreen apps try to make the impossible possible..
a "real" solution can only be build into the rom.
lockbot pro with honeycomb lockscreen is really awesome (best with high end phone )
Use a miui rom.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
I keep getting advice to use some kind of third-party app. Not going to happen.
It's obvious the lockscreens are built into the roms, but I have seen plenty of roms with up to like 9 different lockscreen options... not just MIUI...
It is possible to add lockscreens in CM7... I know it is...
I just did a metamorph that turned made all the icons look like honeycomb on the lockscreen, so I know it is possible to do something...
Just come on, someones got to know something.
Google searches come up blank, I must have posted 30 threads on this topic everywhere and I have yet to even get one real answer...
EDIT: HOW COULD THE BEST ROM HAVE THE WORST LOCKSCREENS EVER!?!?!
It can be done, just who the hell can do it, or if it has been done.... where is it at?

Rolling another green android as we speak.
I am definitely addicted to Android since discovering MIUI.us 2.2.3. Take the best features of IOS, add to it the best features of Android, throw in a liberal dose of nuance, style and flair and you have the perfect ROM.
I never thought i'd be saying this but it really is an order of magnitude better than Cyanogenmod. The infamous Android lag is all but gone! The N1 touchscreen wonks..gone! It's like i died and woke up in smartphone heaven. Most of the apps i used to use i don't need any more. Decent File Browser? Check. Decent Browser? Check. Decent SMS/Dialer/Alarm? Check!
What i don't need in a ROM are a hundred features that i have to turn off because i don't use them. What i do need in a ROM are core features that just work well. Consider me converted!
I seriously wouldn't trade my two year old phone for anything on the market right now, not even if it were free. Not a chance!

It depend on which touchwiz. Touchwiz 4 is actually optimized for the phone it is on. That's why it never lags. But touchwiz 3 is a complete different story.

Yeah you're right, but i just don't like it in the same way i don't like Sense. It's just too much
I'm hooked on IceCremeSandwich's with no-sense!
pure curiosity
first, i have the android phone, then switch to iOS then at now, android again feeling to be more comfy with android (though iOS still rocks on perf and display)
but guess, loving now android coz to put my dev-inside
MIUI.us is working out so well for me. I have apps that never worked well on CM7 that are working perfectly now. The famous N1 touchscreen wonk has disappeared completely, (which is a miracle in itself), and not only are the stock apps better than AOSP, (Gallery, you know i'm talking about you), but they're better than the usual replacements. (Sorry, Quickpic).
A big plus is a beautiful U.I that is consistent throughout the software and on par with IOS. It's like somebody read my mind and made a bespoke ROM for me! It's all the little touches too. The nice animations, the way the music fades out when you pause it, (not to mention Lyrics support and a pretty visualisation), options for re-ordering Bookmarks in the Browser, a good Notes app, in built backup for apps, system and theme. It's incredibly fast and smooth too. Without the OC i had in CM7 it actually performs better!
Pics for the uninitiated:
How about a stock Data usage app, or a Firewall:
How good is that?
I love my android phone...
Still my first (galaxy mini), but i hope my next one will be better...
Im curious on what people like more. What do you like. HTC, Or Samsung. Sense 3./3.5, asop or miui and why. Ill start. HTC and asop. HTC are usually more high quallity feeling. feel more durable then the cheap feeling easyy to break and brick galaxy. Aosp because its light. Has better things to do. More customizeable and user friendly.

I knew someone who bred them. You couldn't walk across his lawn without falling over one. They were enormous buggers though and would eat 20lbs of vegetables a night, before eating all the remaining grass and deposing the remains for cleaning up the next day.

I Like MIUI this is so cool
Samsung, with ASAP SOAP SOPA AOSP. I like HTC too, but they've become boring, and they're pumping out "new" models every single week.

Full Rom: 2 weeks, or more...
(trying to get everything ported, currently using CM10/AOSP/AOKP apps for: phone (FCs with port trying to fix.), browser, mms (will remain aokp, a themed one), and settings (will remain cm, a themed one. If I can get a good kang version I'll use that instead because it has better customization for the rom) ...
The theme is pretty stable though, good battery life too. I just need to adjust some things, get some TW libs to fix compatibility and more on our phone until I'm fully satisfied.
I'm gonna put the port up for devs to add suggestions sometime next week, It'll be on my batakang, here.
Hey MIUI fanatics out there!
Last night, I stumbled on this post on G+:
https://plus.google.com/103335486449456213484/posts/DHeDAbUeVsQ
The guy clearly runs a full blown android 4.2.2 MIUI rom on his GNex, which is pretty exciting, cuz a port to our device shouldn't be that difficult at this point. Or is it...?
Well, thought I had to share this. Let's keep our fingers crossed...

OP, if you look at the MIUI forums, they have launched beta builds for Gnex and believe me there are a lot of bugs now. Once, it passes onto stable, someone or I might port it for mako.
Miui is always lagging way far behind Google on Android versions. And the version that they are on is usually very bug ridden. I like it but I hate dealing with major bugs, little bugs don't bother me to much.

I also tried on the i9300, and it is quite nice over there, so there's hope.
But I agree, it is not as fast as a nice aosp/cm 10.1/AOKP ^^.
