How to Install
Code:
0 - Start from a rooted Eclair/Froyo rom
1 - Download these files:
a) Latest MIUI release (see bottom of post)
2 - Copy the latest MIUI to the SD card.
3 - Enter clockwork recovery
4 - Flash the latest MIUI version
To uninstall MIUI, you should Odin back to stock.

problem fixed. Don't know what you did. But just like the 1.6.17 ROM i was stuck on of yours, because of the Google+ issue, it works like a charm.
Either way, glad all of the folks still working on ROMs for the Vibrant are continually doing what they do. I appreciate all of the devs' work.

I've been trying the 3 button method to get into download mode but it keeps booting into MIUI, never had a problem before getting into download using this method. Is there any other way to odin?

Whats the difference between this and the miui.us release? Is this more official than miui.us because its by miuiandroid?

I think that is a known bug on miui.us
I just switched to the official one because I thought u said u stopped. Definitely switching back now

It's not more official, translations are just done by another team.
This, however, is my custom MIUI rom with the miuiandroid base.

Yes, apps that force closed from location issues should be fixed. Google+, textfree, browser, etc.

Ok, just flashed this ROM and I am not sure if something is wrong. I went in clockwork, turned voodoo off, rebooted and flashed, but it didnt finish and went straight to the MIUI boot logo, now keeps going back into clockwork flashing and the process repeats. Is this how it is supposed to go?

Boot into recovery mode manually and try flashing again.

Data on boot has been improved and should work all the time in LTE areas if not follow note below.
NOTE: For now you MUST dial *#*#4636#*#* or use Phone Info from the market and go into phone settings and toggle to GSM only mode then wait for data to come up. Do not toggle to any other mode JUST WAIT.
Google apps are not inclued be sure to download and flash them with the ROM.
What works:
Pretty much everything. Full media codec support for Netflix and YouTube HD, Camera and video camera (front and back), HW acceleration for Google Chrome.
All media codecs are build from source now with omap enhancement from ti omapzoom.org.

Very stoked to see this. I'm going to wait a bit to see if any other ICS Leak-based ROMs release and get an idea how stable they are. I'd be very happy to see MIUI.

The answer will always be no. If a device isn't officially supported, then the ROM won't have the same visibility and expertise that the CM process provides.

They are dhackers roms. Ive been using cm9 for ics leak since 233 came out. I haven't had any issues. He also has aokp for pics leak and aceoyame has miui for the leaks there also.

everyone has the screen rotation problem with this rom right? with the screen getting really small? i know some ics leaks were having rotation problems but my 232 leak rotates perfectly

So what does not work with this rom?

There is a major problem. The current version. It seems this ROM is not establishing any network. I thought it was at my end. Tried to install this from past 3 days but exact same problem. There is always unknown baseband in About phone menu. See screenshot. Please see through.

redownload rom and try. i just uploaded fixed rom and flashed on two phones and is working i belive there was a problem with phone.apk that was giving this problem. let me know if it is fixed or not

do you really name it DARNESS_[4.2.2]_CM10.1_V1.0?? missing k here (in build number)... without this k everything will be a mess..... k is very important you know...

This rom is source built by me and based off the Evervolv 2.2.0 ICS sources (android 4.0.4). Evervolv is a custom built rom based off cyanogenmod and has man y fixes and performance enhancements for older devices, such as the HTC buzz. For the htc buzz specific files, i used ErwinP's source which is the most up to date for our device.

To get started yourself just sync up the sources:

No the camera problem is on the evervolv GB rom.:/

Don't know if aosp ics work as stable as aosp gb, but will hiver à try.

So at first when the ROM booted, the system was very laggy and after when i went to app drawer the Device went completely blank and the phone switched off, although the screen was still on.
Rebooted system, all works fine
It's an ok ROM but very laggy at start
But then again thanks for bringing evervolv to our device, i'll be trying out the GB version now

That's just a guide to build it yourself, download the rom! in the second post and flash in recovery

I also uploaded it directly to xda if you click download on the tabs above the Rom along with the direct link.
And as of right now its nothing more then the port itself just the files of the two roms cut and paste working .....like I said its a port in progress.
It's still mostly pa framework riding on our cm devs kernel..... the kernel source is still the kernel of cm 11. I'm having issues compiling a working kernel (my first kernel project) once I have a stable working kernel ill upload if I figure it out.....

edit: got it working with phils touch recovery but as soon as it starts up ui crashes and it doesn't seem to want to wake up or screen shuts off

Needs the latest recovery in order to boot. A clean wipe probably wouldn't hurt. Most of the vendor drivers are not working like in the cm build, so its slow working and laggy..... I'm away for the weekend so if I do any work it will be from my tablet. Going to try to start the kernel build this week when I get home.hopefully have my own device tree/kernel up this week....build permitting...

Hey I just tried this port on my galaxy tab 3. The only bugs I had with it is:
1. No Setup Wizard
2. Very slow and laggy
3.Wifi does not work no matter what
Anyways many thanks for this rom and I believe that once laufersteffenwolf recovers he will try to fix the bugs on these type of roms!
Anyways again many thanks I can't tell you how proud i am for you Rom Developers

Unfortunately I haven't had time to work on this, however, I may have some time this week. And @gr8nole got hwcomposer working in CM11, so I may try fixing that.
