does anyone have any ideas on how to make the camera roll in the gallery start at the latest pictures and go back ? Mine starts at the oldest pictures and it takes forever to get to the latest ones taken.

Put your pics in folders labeled accordingly. Then you'd have less to go through

The stock gallery is garbage. Go install Gallery ICS and things will be a lot nicer for you.
Thanks ill give it a shot

Or check out quickpic. It's really fast and and allows you to organize the folders that are shown and hidden. Definitely a great replacement for the stock gallery

Random restarts?
None here. I have been runnig this ROM for close to a week now and have not see anything like that. Have you tried to contact the Dev for the ROM? Thats where I would start.
Days on with no reboots here

Same here, no reboot problems.
Altho I do have a oroblem when I receive mms pics, they appear as if they were videos. The pic is there but you can't zoom in on it and you can see the movie player control at the bottom. It's if it was a short 5s video with only 1frame. Quite annoying....
Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

Same usurious as the infuse. Only way I know around it is to save pic and view through gallery

It's like that on a lot of Android phones. You need to save the attached picture and then look at it in your gallery.
Thats not a bug or anything, it is how a lot of mms works. It isn't a video it is a slideshow with only one pic...
Well it doesn't do that on my wife's Inspire or my old iPhone 3GS. That kind of stupid. But hopefully LG will improve their UI for GB or ICS.

Yeah, LG needs to step up their game in UI. Their music player is great, but a few tweaks here and there could make all the difference.

I have been using this ROM for about a day and no issues yet.
I cannot find any of my recently taken pictures on my Bionic. I recently moved all of my pictures to my external sd card on 2 separate occasions. But for some reason, after I took a picture today and tried to remove it from my internal storage, it wasn't there. I can find it in my gallery, but not in any file, anywhere. I tried searching using es file explorer and nothing. I am rooted on stock. Does anyone have any advice?

Did you check the external?

Have you tried importing the files to your computer? A lot of times it will tell you where they are stored whether it be an sd card or simply a random file folder....you can also change where you want images stored after taking a picture, let me know if this helps and if you have any trouble I'll be glad to help fix it.

I have not tried to import, I will try that as soon as I get home from work and let you know the verdict. Thanks.

If you see the picture in your gallery you should be able to select the picture and hit options. After that hit details and on the bottom it should show you the path to where the picture is saved to.
They were on my external sd I didn't notice them because all of my instagram pictures were at the end of the list, not my most recent pictures, lol. Thanks for the help.

I haven't seen this talked about too much. Did a search and nothing came up as well. But if you take a full 360 photosphere, you can make it into a Tiny Planet!
Instructions:
1. Open your camera and switch to Photosphere mode.
2. Using Photosphere, take a FULL 360 picture. You must hit EVERY spot possible.
3. Save the picture and allow it to render.
4. Open your gallery and tap on the picture. If you did it right, you will have the option to share to Google Maps (using the share icon) and also in the bottom right will be a button to turn it into a Tiny Planet, which opens up more options.

I asked about this in another thread. Apparently this was a early feature of photo sphere but got removed in final version. Let's hope we see it make a come back would be awesome!!

I'm running the latest OTA and it is there. But like I said, it has to be a FULL 360 photosphere. Meaning you need to get everyone single spot you can see. This will also allow you to upload your photosphere to Google Maps.
Ohh cool. Will try it out. Thanks

May be this video will help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ls6MOyUpcg, specially the last minute or so.
Dude this is cool! Thanks!
I can't believe everyone with a Nexus doesn't know about this neat-o feature.. Seeing as it'd exclusive to your phone..
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Looks cool.
Also if you take the photosphere and flip it 180° in the gallery editor, and before saving go to the last tab in the editor (the one with the +/-) the first option will be the tiny planet, but this time it would create an inverse tiny planet. The sky in the center and the surface on the outside. A little more difficult to create, but can look really cool.

Get the apk from Sky ROM then
I did get the apk from there but it won't work on hellybean
Sent from my SGH-I897 using xda app-developers app
Why do you want the camera from Sky on hellybean, what's the difference between the 2?
The one on helly bean is with gallery then the one with sky is by its self I don't use two gallery's I love the gallery ICS but I want to use jb camera tho but I did come up with some thing I been using hide my pics so it works out now so far helly bean been doing good for me even on battery really dam good I all so been use super charge I just really like the miui camera

I gotcha, I'm not sure about compatability between the two ROMs and cameras, I'll try to do some research tomorrow night when I'm back home.

I have gallery disabled at startup with system Tuner pro.
As long as you don't launch gallery, it doesn't run or build thumbnails, except images in DCIM folder,
that get created when you use camera. I use quickpic, set as default for jpg and png images. Any other app that wants to view images either uses its internal viewer or else calls quick pic to view.
The gallery app space usage is pretty low. It stays at about 3.0 MB total, with the settings described above, even after taking pictures with camera.
You could also try camera jb+, for 1.99. Developer says he will refund money if you aren't happy, more than the usual play store time limit.

Does this make sense to anyone? There are a few nice filters in the camera app, granted I don't particularly like filters. I just want to experiment with them from time to time. If you edit a pic already taken, you get different effects/filters than you get before taking the pic.
I'd rather apply my filter/effects after taking the pic rather than before. But doesn't seem that's possible. I've already gotten an app for this, so I don't need any suggestions. But kind of bothered HTC chose to do this.

All I got from the OP was I don't like a feature I know I have no control over...useless. Camera and the editing software on Android phones are generally two seperate programs, so yes something (filter, effects, etc.), that the developers choose to leave out of one side of the software is not intertwinable with the omitted functionality of the other program by default. You would need to build or more likely wait fora custom Rom that incorporates the feature you 'prefer' which will probably never happen.
