On GB i can send mms but when i upgrade to ics and enter all settings from provider internet is working nicely but mms is not responding. Any clue?

mine are sending just fine on t-mobile using stock lpy ics. This may seem so simple but a lot of my stuff wasn't working properly until I did a battery pull. Once it rebooted everything was working fine.
Tnx 4 reply will try that
Edit: was trying diferent settings and found the right one,not the same as provider gave me LOL

Change the rom .

I'm liking this rom tho. Has to be another way to fix or some particular reason why they aren't working?

Maybe APN settings are wrong...
Regards
Thanks. Needed to reset settings after installing the new rom - never even thought to do that

This issue still isn't fixed for me. I have contacted my provider who doesn't know what the issue is either. Has anyone had similar issues and know how to resolve this as there has to be a reasonable explanation

Not to be judgemental, but you do know that mms can only be downloaded using the data network.

I am having the same problem on MIUI i am on Rogers. Has there been any fix for this?
I am having kind of the same issue except I cannot send mms messages at all. I am also on rogers. I have tried restoring a couple older son back ups, nothing. Tried turning off wifi, nothing. No super user conflicts either....any help would be greatly appreciated..

Hi
My 9305t running ripper rom v9 wont send or receive mms. I have tried all 3 telstra modems available via update me and also tried both samsung sms app and also go sms pro.
The mms sits trying to download before eventually timing out.
All other data/calls etc work fine.
Any ideas?
Sounds like an apn issue.
You need to either remotely or manually install the apn settings yourself or take your phone into your carriers store and get them to enter your apn settings again.

go try from your original rom maybe it is not rom problem
if its it is apn go to settings
mobile networks then access point names and check mms see if there still there if not call telstra and they will give them to u over the phone or i can give them to u im with telstra on same phone

You could also try installing GoSMS and see if it will be able to send MMS. I had a similar situation and GOSMS was working well.

Yesterday I installed benz 4.1.2 rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2119219) and today I tryed to text to friend but I can't send text message but I can recive it ,not sure is it because of rom or something with my carrier .I reset setting to defould and reboot my phone but error is still here.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this.
I installed benzrom a couple of days ago and the sms was working fine until this morning. I tried wipe caches, mount/unmount data etc.. Same thing. Can receive but not send.
I installed another sms client and it now works fine (any sms app will work, I have gosms for now).
Did you do anything prior to this? As I was messing about with link2sd.

Flash this via CWM/TWRP
Thanks it's fixed. You should include Android stock 4.1 JB messaging app in your rom, available from play store. It's much more appealing than the one from your rom..
