Music Player app

hi guys currently running.simplicity 2.1 rom. it has ics music.player which turns shuffle off each.time you manually choose a song can anyone suggest a lite music app thats free? was using winamp but it was absolutely raping my phone and.making it very sluggish :'(

For lite music apps I would recommend MIUI music player (also has a very nice widget), or perhaps cloudskipper.

thanks i tried it, but its not for me
also would either of you know how i can replace ics music player with miui, so the default is miui and ics is no longer on the phone?

About your other question:
You can use an app like nitrality to uninstall the ICS player if you wish.

Player pro is pretty awesome.

Google now: doesn't see my music app

I have installed cm10 and an enjoying using Google now. My problem is that I use n7 music player as my music app, and"listen to..." commands only throw up executing them with Tune in radio or last fm. How do I get it to allow me to control my music player?

What apps do you use on your gear?

Just want to make a list of apps everyone is using with their gear. I just got a gear a week ago and i'm having a problem finding apps that work well the the screen size and function.
It would be nice to have a list all in one spot =).

Facebook and Whatsapp. Small fonts
Pocket, YouTube, xda premium hd, root explorer, Google +, Tapatalk. Hangouts, my backup root, pandora, Tablet Talk, Google Voice, Hotmail, Google Calendar, Facebook, FB Messenger, Root Explorer, Sony Ericson Album, and Google Keyboard.

I often use Facebook and Whatsapp. Small fonts but not so bad.

My favorite is Pocket.

Good collection so far. the watch can do all of this at once thats for sure =)
What about games you guys think run well on the watch?
I found flick golf, memory, basic tic tac toe. anything that pushes the gears processor?

Can you use a calendar app that doesn't require independently setting up account's on thel watch but uses the info from the note

Edit: OK, I had installed Youtube apk 5.5.27 (did not work, keeping complaining about Google Play Services version). So I looked for older youtube apks and was successfull with 4.0.8E.

What about 3rd party Youtube players like Viral?

I like stock too. Google Play Music works fine, but stock htc looks better.

I'm new to Android have converted from IOS.
I was wondering what Apps some of you Android users are using on your Nexus 6? Any recommendations?
I was wondering if any of the Samsung APKs worked on the Nexus 6 such as the video player. My brother is able to send videos from his Note 3 to my TV through the video player through DLNA, and same goes for pictures

Us MX Player for all videos

Mint for personal finance

pictures - quickpic
videos - vlc
music - shuttle
file explorer - es file explorer

Music - play music, Poweramp, sound cloud, tunein radio,
Videos - VLC, dice, MX player
Many other good apps, depends what you wanna do

I have at most 20-25 in addition to gapps. I wouldn't know what to do with that many apps. Also because I clean flash LS every time a nightly comes out it would be terrible to reload 200apps.

I used it a week ago for a trip that I took and it worked fine no lag. I download the maps for offline use and used them the whole trip.

It lags very bad in map scrolling mode compared to google maps

I've only used it once for that trip last week. Now that I have T-Mobile and unlimited data I use Google Maps because it doesn't matter how much data I consume. Its been 3 days since I switched and I'm at 12gbs used
