I don't think it's dangerous to uninstall busybox. Of course you can reinstall it any time using BusyBox app.
Now, if you're wondering, flashing a stock rom wouldn't be an issue, but if you're not sure just install it again and then Flash!

[Q] Update Busybox ?

Hi,
i want know if it's necessary to update Busybox for OB after rooting ? And if not necessary, can i make this, and what are the news ?
Thanks
Busybox already installed by rooting, and it depends of what you need. Perhaps you are a developer to trying script or command. For me, I'm not updating busybox.

You can update it via Busybox Installer via Market. It will give you lists from newest (update) to old. So you can Update or go back to previous.
Same as updating CWM and Superuser, fixed bugs if there's any.
no need.
Sent from my LG-P970
But if i update it, does it bricked my phone ? Or remove my root access ?

[Q] Superuser not updating su binary

I upgraded to v20p and rooted using megatron. Every time i try to update su binary it sails receive manifest failed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled busybox. I've tried to uninstall superuser, but after i uninstall it just says "open" and "update". so when i uninstall it just uninstalls the update.. i've tried using titanium backup to uninstall but it doesnt see superuser installed. so i have no way to uninstall superuser to reinstall. I have no idea how to fix this problem. Maybe the su binary server is down? Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Are you trying to update with wifi or data plan? I haven't had any problems updating my SU binarys.

But this happened to me with v20c.

cant you redownlaod or from galaxy apps?
or just push it back via adb
if you can remove with adb you can probably add back. search is your friend
Just Google for an apk for the app and install it, from a reputable source obviously.
Should have just disabled it instead to avoid issues.

You need adhell or package disabler pro to disable system apps.
And no sorry I don't know, you might have to look for a modified one as I believe ones just ripped from system won't install as they're not signed

Just out of curiosity, is that possible? Does flashing firmware through Odin not wipe the phone automatically? Also if he can't or won't do that, his only option is a factory reset as I believe when you remove an app through ADB it removes it from the the current system/data, but the factory ROM image obviously remains intact.

Go to your root folder, priv-app and install your stock camera from there. there will be a camera apk present

I'd suggest starting a logcat just before trying to reinstall it then stop it after it won't install. Check the logcat and it will probably have a good indication why it's not reinstalling.
How did you uninstall it? Exactly what did u do?

I didn't uninstall the previous version. There was a list of different ways to update Magisk within the Magik app. One of them was marked as 'recommend' which I chose.
I hope someone will answer your questions.
