LEWA ROM PORT...
This is my first rom so be gentle...
its a Merge of CM7 RC2 for p920 / and LEWA ROM
as a result you still need to install the Gapps zip that you normally would for CM7
LEWA looks alot like and functions very similarly to MIUI.
For people who notice that in cm7 roms their sdcard is affected or emmc and sdcard are swapped... this Rom does not have that issue... internal is recognized as emmc and ex_sdcard is recognized as sdcard
FOR THRILL OWNERS WHO ARE STILL ON THE FROYO BASEBAND THIS VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE SO IF ENOUGH PEOPLE WANT IT PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Notes:
-battery lasts well in sleep
-This rom has the majority of the same stability as the CM7 RC2
so no 3d or hdmi.
-off the bat the SD manager app FC's.
-the included calendar is not really useable because it has not been translated...

k i just flashed this. im having trouble unlocking the phone to see it. as in, after turning it on all i see is the lock screen. and wont unlock. nothing moves. and after the screen goes off, theres no way to turn it back on but to pull battery and wait for restart. after which, same problem
That's very strange. No body else has reported this. Try factory reset...
i did a factory reset, then flashed the rom, followed by gapps. it did that anyway. ill try again.
Did you wipe dalvik cache
how is the battery life when compared to the current stock gingerbread roms?
does it use the same blu tooth stack as CM7?
does it have access to 3d?
Same Bluetooth stack, better battery then official cm7, no 3d or HDMI

Are you going to update your rom against the latest nightly?
Sent from my LG-P925 using xda premium
Eventually ..
There isn't anything major new in the latest nightly though.. so once there is I will
About to flash. Running v21D with the newest RC3 CM7. Curious to see how stable this is, along with the battery life.

Hi All,
I would like to know if there are any current themes out here that are safe, ok or compatible to be used with a custom JL2 (Bell) ROM?
XDA Member seeARMS has created a fantastic ROM for us JL2 users and he is working on porting some themes at this time and I would like to know if there are any current themes that I could try and perhaps mention to seeARMS so that he could tweak and port them for JL2.
Please advise and if you are running JL2 and would like to flash a FAST and STABLE ROM and keep all the benefits of JL2 then I recommend that you try seeARMS ROM. It can be found in Android Development.
Thanks,
yiannisthegreek
I don't have JL2 themed, but I did modify it to give me the AOSP lockscreen and version E circle battery mod if you're interested in either of those...

Id love the battery mod u have. Is it installable from CWM recovery? Can you link me to a picture of the battery mod?
seeARMS custom ROM has the AOSP lockscreen in it so I have that already. Perhaps you could offer your battery mod to seeARMS for his ROM? I think he'd be appreciative of the help!

That is the battery mod.
Attached is the CWM install .zip
After you install it, make sure you wipe the dalvik-cache in CWM options.... If not, you'll get a ton of force closes upon boot.
seeARMS' rom is a little different (deodexed and zipaligned) than the stock rom I made it from, but it should still work. If it doesn't, let me know. I'll download seeARMS rom and make you a zip to get back to normal
That would be cool dude. Ill give it a go and let u know how it works...
Also... can u possibly make me a battery mod that is in blue when full? I would kind of like my theme to be black and blue...
Thanks man...

Can be a bit flaky - anticipating updates that aren't there yet, and so on. And a tad slow.
Even if it's slower thx for sharing
Too much for our Hero to handle
It's pretty laggy unfortunately I like the new layout better than the old one though. Shame it stutters like that when you scroll horizontally.
How do I leave comments on the new market?

It works but it is realy slow for me.
Using Elelinux rc1 3.4
Slow for me on Gingerbread Edge rom.
How does one go back to the older version?
Is it as simple as uninstalling and running a previous version apk?

- Just install old market as normal apk, reboot.
or
- Remove market from system/app with Root Explorer and move old one there. Restart phone and must be ok.

Hi everyone,
I have been running a custom GB ROM for some time, it worked perfectly this morning, made a phone call that lasted for like two mins, few hours later I get back on my phone, and it shows "Invalid SIM Card".. I tried rebooting several times, it asks for PIN Code, and then it just shows an X on the statusbar at the network service.. This is what I have tried besides rebooting the phone 9999 times:
Installing [ROM] NVFlash Opti-3D v-1.4.4 V20s Stock GB Clean CWM | UNBRICK
Installing [ROM][Stock][ICS] LG P990 Stock ICS flashable zip by harsh & tonyp (based on v28g)
Installing [NOV20][ROM][STOCK] Gueste2X "GoodBye" v2.0R - ultrasmooth [HYBRID][UNBRICK][RAMHACK]
Installing like 5 different BB's.
Installed the Euro Open original firmware from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
Everything results in the same: Asks for PIN Code, and then an X at the network service..
Really need some help!
Thanks.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have tried my SIM Card on another phone and it worked perfectly.
Try out a different RIL.

Same issue
Strangely, I have the exactly same problem! I dont think that it's a RIL problem since other SIM card worked!
But, i'll try!
One of my customers had the same issue once and I fixed it by just fully wiping his phone and reflashing CM7. Maybe that'll resolve your problem. If not, make sure your SIM card is placed correctly in your phone. Sounds stupid but who knows..
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
Thanks man... I'll do that!
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
Just so you all know, I have had this issue before too. Flashing a new baseband, a new ROM, anything with Smartflash or NVFlash will NOT help. This is the only thing that will help:

Thanks @Tquetski for this nice rom. Also as a quick question why for most Chinese ROM use cm10 4.2.2 as a base

It's not easy to fork such specific mods to higher android revisions, often work begins on 4.2 when 4.3 is completed for example so the company chooses to use a lower base.
Like for example, only recently Lewa added 4.2 support It's better to look at the chinese firmware as sep. from CM/AOSP in a sense, as far as function goes
this rom is very fast, and yes, WiFi Tether do not work,I think this will be my daily use, thanks again
Good looking rom. It have some miui taste to it. But unfortunately is not for me due to tethering and kitkat floating around. Thanks for sharing though.
I tried it and it looks good, it's easy to set themes, feels smooth... But I had too many FCs. First of all with the Gapps (PA), then when using the camera, the gallery. I tried to keep the ROM but eventually I got stuck in a "Launcher stopped working" loop, so I couldn't do anything else. I had to uninstall it. But generally it's a good ROM, even if is 4.2.2, just need to fix those bugs. Also, there are some sections with chinese language only. For example, in the first boot, the first thing that you see is a chinese screen. I don't even know what I choosed, lol.
Thanks for sharing!
Great smooth rom. How do I get root access? Root is not enabled by default! Otherwise very nice. Thanks
Lollipop has been released for a few weeks now, but no one had asked if there will be a rom for our outdated Touchpad
So i come to be the first one who raises this question
Hope to get a positive answer
its definitely coming. just give it a little more time.

Eagerly anticipates a possible JCSULLINS build
After having Lollipop on my phone I'd love to see it come to the TouchPad. Supposedly CM has builds planned to be released out in about a months time. Thus something should be on its way shortly afterwords would be my guess.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/hp-touchpad/development/rom-evervolv-5-0-0p1-data-media-t2949521
Here is another version, tried, it, but prefer cm layout, so wait for cm version
Unofficial 12.0 is out now (this thread is a bit over a month old i see):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/hp-touchpad/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-0-nightlies-t2993197
Installed last night, seems to work quite nicely. Lollipop seems a bit more streamlined than KK, although it feels like a kids cartoon when setting it up with all the bright colours.
I did have to wipe with TPtoolbox and create the volumes manually with sufficient size but it wasn't much of a hassle at all.
Cheers

How do you resize the volumes using TPToolbox? What size do i need to add? cache, data , system ? please help

I believe you only need to make sure the "system" one is at least 1GB. if you get "unable to allocate" error when you do it, make sure you go into "Data" and click "-1024" or "-512" then hit "Apply" and after you can go back to Resize "System" and you should be able to add the one you removed from Data.
P.S i said either "-1024" or "-512" this depends on how big your "System" already is and you just want to add enough ton make it 1GB
New TPToolbox
I just downloaded the new TPtoolbox version 42 and the fixed the problem thankyou for el the support
