Does not work in my wingray with CM9.

I think this doesn't support wifi.

IIRC it won't work if you have Vlingo installed...maybe same with other voice actions apps.
It installs fine on my bionic. But won't install on my Xoom. It hangs at the install screen for minutes til I close it.

Edit: gonna install it as a system app and see what happens.

It works ok with my Wingray... Tends to lag sometimes or Fc's... can't change the name so your stuck with saying "Hi Galaxy", and I haven't found a way to change any of the settings cuz there's no menu key... I pushed the apk to system/app if that helps anyone...
Here's the apk

after installing, try turning the apk into a zip file, extract it, find the libsvoxtts.so file and push it to system/lib and see if that helps

There have been issues when you only install the apk.
Here is a link to a flashable version of s-voice http://wanamlite.com/2012/05/22/mod-hacked-siii-svoice-voice-talk/
This has worked without issue on my Galaxy SII t-989.
Hope this helps.

I purchased the full version of SwiftKey and when I try to download it I get the error "download unsuccessful" I have cleared caches, data, installed the latest cyanogen daily. I am at a loss. SwiftKey says to contact Google and I have tried the suggestions on the help forums.

No issues here either, running CM 6.0.2.1

I am running 6.0 final also and I keep getting a "download unsuccessful" error. Seems as though tech support at Swiftkey didnt help much either blaming Google. I am not real happy because I loved Swiftkey. Hopefully this will be resolved.
Check with your bank. I found out from my bank that because it is a international charge they would not clear it.
I bought SwiftKey and it also wouldn't download. I'm stuck with the beta.
Try fixing permissions in rom manager reboot try again if that doesn't work try flashing 9/30 nightly I haven't had any problems with downloading SwiftKey

Thanks, but doesn't work for me. If I use MarketEnabler, I can finde the music app in the Market, but it refuses to install, claiming that it's invalidly signed.
If I download the apk from the link above, package installer terminates with a simple 'not installed' message.

I get the same thing here after upgrading to Gingerbread (Overcome) - I used MarketEnabler to download it from the Market; happily running under Overcome 1.6.x (Froyo) but after Gingerbread all it does is force close upon running.

Yeah Google Music crashes each time since the Gingerbread update... Overcome and Stock too
Here too
Euro tab GSM, running GB overcome 2.0 beta 2
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
I pinned down the crashes to two reasons:
Obviously Samsung built our 2.3.3 on rather outdated code and modified some pieces of the mediaprovider...
Usually, the Stock-Music apk allows access to the MediaPlayBackService and Google temporarily revoked access in 2.3.3, so Samsung thought it would be a great opportunity to **** around with the existing code and Changed some things in the Stock MediaProvider-Service thingy
That's the major reason why the Google Music Beta crashes in 2.3.3 but works great in 2.2
So it is not a "Google Thing", it is a "Samsung Thing" and Samsung would have to fix that.. We all know that this won't be likely to happen, so there are two possibilities I see here... We fix it ourselves or someone clever ports the MediaProvider including access to the MediaPlayBackService from the current CyanogenMod 7.something builds to the Galaxy tab. I tried and failed as the modules crashed on boot and I had to reflash the whole system
Anyone interested in getting that done? I'd do it, but I've too little time at the moment to get it done properly :-/ it shouldn't be that hard anyways, I guess...
Someone needs to make this work. I have all my devices working beautifully with Google music without a problem except on my galaxy tab running overcome 2.0.

Have you tried deleting the application data and reboot then? :-/ I used the official market version btw. but that shouldn't make much difference... as I pulled it directly after the install from my tab.
Anyone had any luck installing the new Swype beta with Honeycomb support? I have it installed on phone and have proper beta username and all but when i try do download from the installer it gives me a connection error? I installed on phone without a problem and is working fine.
I love Thumb Keyboard but always eager to give new things a try, and to encourage further Honeycomb development.

so quick poll of people on this please... is anyone running titamat rom able to get this to download? i'm begining to think that somehow the UA string embeded in the modified framework-res is somehow an issue for the swype installer (i had to sideload the installer apk for the same reason)
im on tiamat rom an downloaded it no problem using opera mobile browser however im having the connection issue in the installer
Installed and working, LP 1.2.1 no ROM.
Typing seems much more laggy compared to stock. I hope they optimize it better in the future releases.

I also noticed this, some slowdowns on typing with the regular sized swype keyboard vs thumb/stock
Latest Tiamat kernel, stock ROM. Side loaded the installer but am stuck at the connection error.
I am also getting the connection error. I have a WiFi only zoom, but running the Tiamat ROM. Maybe it's tying to use the nonexistant cell connection?

Anyone have "Auto Space" working? Each time i swype multiple words no space is placed between them. Yes I have the option checked in the settings.
i signed in on swype.com resent myself the invite with the updated beta apk and then clicked on it in my email. Brings to a page swypes website saying "this is not an android phone".
Any ideas?
The error that states "this is not an android phone" is from the desktop UA change.
Now is there anyway to temporarily disable the UA string so this will install?

Hmm, I see. All I can think of its to set dolphin as my default browser and change the UA in the settings. Trying it now...
Edit: nope. Back to the drawing board...

Same issues last night and today, WiFi only US Xoom, Tiamat 1.0 ROM. Even trying to side load the installer apk gets the network connection error, and that's with the updated installer I pulled from my HTC Incredible.
I tried searching around for this error but there's really only one other thread on it. When I try to update some apps tonight like YouTube and Flash 11 from the google play market, I get this error. Has anybody seen it or know of a fix for it?
This seems to happen because market thinks you're running ics. Are you running cm7?
Try opening market, waiting a while and updating the apps manually

Hi Folks,
I have flashed kallt_kaffe's rom located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28871951&postcount=1
Everything worked except these:
I can't see my galaxy tab anymore on 'my computer' when I connect it via usb. Also Kies can't recognize the tablet.
I have flashed gapps however not everything installed along with it. Google Maps is missing for example and when I try to do a voice call through Gtalk, it shuts down immediately.
What would you suggest?
Just found the solution to the first issue: Enabled MTP device via storage settings.
However looks like Gapps does not install properly; Google Maps is missing and voice/video calls in Gtalk won't work
Re-download gapps and re-flash it. It may be a bad download.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
I did it like 5 times and still won't work.
Also checked the files if they are in place through ES file explorer and they indeed were.
Tried to install some of them and got 'install failed' error...

Uninstall gtalk and then reinstall. Get maps and gtalk from the store. That'll probably solve your problem.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
More importantly, I wouldn't commit to that particular ROM, as the developer abandoned it without warning almost two months ago.
I did it uninstall and then reinstall and it still did not work, so frustrating.
Very strangely, when I accessed the Maps through the store app, it told me that it was not available in my country??
and later I was able to install it through the browser.
Plus when I chose 'all the apps from Google', I could see only the one third of all their apps.
I can't figure this out... only for this I could go back to stock ICS.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found the solution to the Gapps issue, just replaced the Gtalk from an old Gapps package and it worked like a charm.
Anyway is that ROM stable yet?

I'm using C-o-M's unofficial CM 10.1 and it's simply amazing. It's breathed new life into my tablet and I no longer feel the urge to run out and get a Nexus 10 just to have the latest version of Android.
