Download the UI-TWEAK and the two themes (included in the ZIP)
install the UI Tweak,
1. run it
2. from the selection menu choose SYSCOLOER Changer
3. Choose Tools->IMport -> Select the Black/Grey Theme.
4. Tools->Apply
5. Tools -> Reset
6. Voila a completly Black Themed Device SWEET! :0

Of course it's totally undoable, since i've put the Default Theme of WM06. you can simply import it when u'll get tired of a black theme.

There is a picture.
Take a better look, the entire Backround of the Progarms is black , and the Whole device turn's black.
This is nice!

Looks great! I'd love to try it but all fileshare websites are blocked here at work. Would someone be kind enough to post this file on xda's ftp site or to a non-sharing site?

Nadavi, I'm not sure I understand how you undo it once you want to go back to the default theme. Are you saying that you need to import the default theme onto your device the same way you import the black theme?

Yes, the default theme is included in the zip as well.

P.S. Be sure to export your current theme before using this. The default theme that was included was not the one that was on my Tilt.

Nice App, the theme needs a little tweaking thou. The highlighted tabs under SYSTEM, are the same color as the text.

cant read the system messages.. that kinda sucks. thanks anyways.

I love the black theme! It looks awesome. However, some things are now unreadable. On my Tilt, my inbox is washed out, the message headers for text messages are gray on gray, editing outlook contacts is black on black, and highlighted tabs (as mentioned in a previous post) are white on white. Then there are other little problems like the dropdown arrow for select boxes being black on black. That's all I found before I switched back to my original colors.
It's probably a matter of tweaking the individual colors, but that's tough if you're not sure what does what because you have to soft reset to see what changed.
Does anyone have a black theme that is tweaked so that everything is legible? If you could export it and post it, I'd love to get my hands on that.

Nadavi, I'm tweaking your black theme to be HTC default gray, but I need a little help. What component controls the color of the selected tabs in the setting module? The text color is white and the tab is white. Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, you can always download the most current version of UI Tweaker from my site. Glad to see the interest here...it's motivating me to work on the next minor update (WVGA and VGA support) soon. Also got some bugs to fix in TdyScheme Changer.
P.S: If anybody have some nice themes exported from any of the "sub-programs" in UI Tweaker and wish to share with the rest, you can send me an e-mail and I can probably post the files you exported from the applications on my site (of course with credits).

I installed it on Storage Card but for some reason the phone start in safe mode, tried to uninstall it but the phone still start in safe mode, what happened, help would be great.

This is a custom theme that has a lot of xTheme components to it. I've edited the theme itself to be orange rather than green though. I plan on adding a lot to this theme as I have time to make it differ more from xTheme.
Things to change:
Phone and Contacts apps
Edit icons - Probably just color changes. I like the Eclair icons.
Make text color a shade of grey, to match the icons and such. (from pure white)
I'm looking into Stericson's Lockscreen. Will update when I make progress.
I've you've got any suggestions, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Note: Update of Cyanogen will work on most of his builds, unless you've got one in which he's got different parameters set in the framework-res.apk. None the less, the one included is from his latest build.

If you had bothered to read the first thread you would know that they are moving all themes to a different section and not to post in the old section.

The easiest way to customize your device

Hi,
I just wanted to present you the early version of my application that will allow you to do the easiest way to customize your device.
Unfortunately, that's a new Home so you will loose all your Hero Widgets.
Unfortunately, you will need Android 2.0 at least
No need to have the SDK
No need to sign application
You just need Photoshop, Gimp, other image editing tool
As this is a beta, I i wait for your feedback

When you open it, it will ask to download some samples. They are not very good, but that's just for a testing purpose.
Create your own theme
Download samples and browse your SDCard to sdcard/data/com.profete162.FreedHome/
You will see the samples. You can copy/paste one and edit all the files you want! That's so simple.

It installed just fine on my magic running 2.1.
The homescreen runs fast and feels snappy, but the only files that are avaiable for customization are the tray handle and its background.

Version without matermarking will come on the market in a few days. I want to add more features first and be sure it's stable enough.
Feel free to send me feedback on other things you want to see changed, if the application is easy to understand, etc...

For the arrow and the blue color when open, i wil explain you what's the problem.
On the basic Homescreen without customisation, there are 3 differents graphic files with 3 states: normal - pressed - selected. So the blues lines are in the pressed/selected mode but not in the menu.
In my customisation, I only allow 1 ressource, the normal state, so that will never change. If you really want, i can give you a modified version with the arrow and the blue line, that will be easy, but you will loose the link to the market.

Yes you can update, the beta version will leave it's beta state when will be finished. That will be the SAME application. So by installing the free version ( and making a donation if you want to) you will always be up-to-date.
The different ressources for the 3 states will come when I will be able to do that. I don't know when yet, unfortunately.

A simple countdown widget to never miss an important meeting, birthday, vacation or similar.
You can add more than one event at the same time of course!
How to start the widget?
Long press home to add the 3-2-1 Countdown Widget.
Just enter a date, time and event descripttion and click on top right apply button.
You can choose the text and background color. A personal note could be applied by choosing a picture for example a sun for a vacation countdown.
The widget shows the count of days until the event is reached and notifies you with a vibration, sound and led if you want (for more configuration see my other app LEDBlinker https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledblinker)

Xiamio got a theme editor sign up is in Chinese do.Work around it with my old phone is not bad.
Its all.from the Chinese rom package.
There is some theme editor for windows around did not test it do.
The apk editors are mostly very limited .
So building a theme is doable.but in my case i really need to sit down and take my time for it.
Sounds you really need root for that.
To discover the hidden files like system,media,audio
To convert and place the files.
And some modules like magic,exposed to make it work and address the sounds.

Hey my friend, thanks for your replie,
im moved a step forwared , i downloaded the app KLWP, its a nice App for editing Custom Livewallpapers, So this i have done now by myself and it looks very cool, i could Integrate with this app a Customized Battery Bar wich drains from right to left, also a Clock and could Change the colour of it too, But for the Telephone CallBar i wasnt able to do it by myself cause im not knowledget, The MiuiTheme Editor for Pc i downloaded too, but it was to harsh for me to work with it, here have a look at my Livewallpaperhttps://streamable.com/9wreke
