This is a basic deodexed update.zip for samsung galaxy ace s5830i only "DDLA2 (XXLA2)"
What does it do ?
1. Deodexes your ROM (removes .odex files and saves internal space)
2. Roots your phone and adds superuser.(latest)
3. If you have flashed a theme and want to revert back to default stock theme then flash it.
4. Deletes all the installed apps and retores the factory apps.
5. Will update all d Apps
6. New PLAY STORE added..! (much Faster)
7. Sum app problem removed..!
8. 1% battery mod added..!
9. ICS animation..!
10.MIUI music player

How to Installation :-
1. Download the file for DDLA2 (XXLA2)
2. Place it in the root of the sdcard.(not in any folder)
3. Flash it via recovery.(Press middle key+power key+up volum button)
4. Do a factor reset.

Thanks for the ROM My question is where should i look if my current ROM is DDLA2 (XXLA2). In Baseband version its S5830iXXLA1 and in Build number GINGERBREAD.XXLA2 . What of those two is my version of the ROM?

If u want still to try first take full backup using CWM

i find something in music player if you have the option with shake to change songs, when the phone is locked and the song is finished,and you shake the phone is change the song...sorry for my english

I'm back with a new version of my custom rom based on "Unofficial Sony ICS 4.0.4"(4.1.B.0.431)(10x to zdzihu). This rom is stripped of bloatwares, home.apk removed being replaced by ApexLauncher.apk
What's new in this version:
*DefaultThemes is customized -->Screenshot_7 - 10x to auni
*some apps are updated, other removed
*ported some ringtones and notifications tones from xperia sola
*quick panel and battery mod included in system
*new bootanimation
*new lockscreen
*other things that I can't remember
How to install:
If you want a fresh install (recomended)
>copy rom to sdcard
>reboot in cwm and do this *wipe data/factory reset
*wipe cache partition
>go to advanced tab and *wipe Dalvik Cache
*wipe battery stats
>after this go to install zip from sdcard -->choose zip from sdcard
--> IceCream_4.0.4(_4.1.B.0.431_)
If you want quick panel and battery mod:(only for version 1 or version 2)
after phone boot, choose your settings, reboot your phone (power down -->power on)
enter in cwm and flash "quick panel settings.zip" than "Honeycomb_byMe.zip"
to get power notification and battery mod. reboot phone
>If you like my apex launcher configuration --> unrar and copy Android folder(from attach) to sdcard,
go to apex settings --> backup&restore --> restore apex settings
after restore it ask you to restart apex, just do it
*latest version --> download here
If you download my rom, just press "Thanks"

I've been using this since ICS was launched and am now on the stock (leaked) 4.0.4 and it works fine.

If you have stock kernel with cwm is ok. First i was thinking you have the stock kernel without cwm

If you have Arc S and you like my rom copy/replace build.prop from attach to system --> build.prop
Also you can change cpu freq (if your kernel allow you) with no frills cpu, and mark "set on boot"
lockscreen deep sleep many time i press home button but not showing lockscreen just black screen

Based on latest firmware XXLF3.
Permament CWM when u flash the ROM.
This ROM is for GT-S5830i only. DO not flash on GT-S5830 It will brick your phone. Other models same as GT-S5830i make Backup and test if it works report here.
How to install the ROM:
1) Download the ROM from the link below.
2) Place it in SD Card.
3) Reboot and apply Clockwork Mod Recovery.
4) Then in CWM do the following:
a) wipe data/factory reset
b) wipe cache
c) Go to Advanced > wipe dalvik cache.
5) Now install zip from sd card.
6) Choose the ROM zip file and wait untill installation finishes.
7) Reboot and ENJOY GingerAce

wow..its raining roms here..i guess i am the first one to dowload this..thanks for the upload man..i will try it out and provide my feedback..who would have known 4-5 months back that custom roms would become a reality for 5830i...kudos to all the devleopers here who have made this possible..

Is in the rom including CWM with not working backup/restore or other CWM?

Great rom..its really quick and light on resources. Iam nt a huge fan of LP so i removed it and installed holo launcher instead. Works great.
2 things i noticed..
1. There is no way to change the wallpaper of the lockscreen.
2. Many of the default audio sounds are missing. Were they removed intentionally?

audio sounds hd been removed by me in simplicity. So it wil nt b in dis rom as well.
Flashed without any problems, but I´m facing network problems. My ace is S5830M, firmware WHLA1 I know it doesn´t matter since rom are compatible with every firmware, but any idea on why i cant connect to network.
Edit.
Fixed, just need to stop data pack for a moment and it´ll catch the network. After that just restart data packs.

The CWM Backup/Restore feature works. You just shouldn't restore a backup made before you install the ROM with permanent CWM. Because It will restore the CWM and it wont be permament. Otherwise if u make a backup using the new CWM U can Restore it aswell.

1. That is because the default Gallery app is removed. You can maybe use Holo Locker as it adapts to your Homescreen wallpaper.
2. Yes I removed them because they take space and are useless. I usually use Zedge for those stuff
U can empty the hostfile and del some fonts too.
Nice work, but imho, a barebone shouldnt have a launcher.

I dwnloaded the gallery 3d app frm play shop bt i guess that is different frm d default gallery app? Although d luk and feel is pretty mch d same bt it doesnt have d option to manage lockscreen wallpaper.
I find holo locker to be snaggy. Its nt as smooth as d stock locker.

Guys, I think I will be moving this rom over to XXLA2 baseband. I will flash PDA.tar from raj. deodex it and try to move the rom on that Baseband.

sorry mate it can be done only on samsung based stock and custom roms,CM7 has this feature by default..i remember using this feature in cm7 on my Galaxy Ace

I found out that stock rom and kernel is the fastest and smooth kernel and rom build so far that's why I'm using stock
