HoneyIce - ICS Themed Honeycomb
Hi everybody,
The official HC3.2.1 for the GT-P7100 (10.1v) ,was released a few months ago and i found it to be almost as smooth and stable as ICS, only with one major benefit, the camera works.
Unfortunatly Honeycomb looks like pants and ICS is beautifull; so I decided to Completely re-theme the rom. V1 is out now for you to play with and Features:
-Pure honeycomb with almost no additional apps
-The additional apps included are : Flash, Titanium backup, ES file explorer and Go launcher HD
-Rooted , busybox etc..
-All non updatable apps and UI are ICS themed
-Fast, stable and everything works
Future updates will include:
-More UI theme
-Bug fixes
-custom bootanimation
-SMS
-Overclocking
-A Go launcher ICS theme, when go launcher HD becomes themable
-More ....
DOWNLOAD : Mediafire
install the zip file with Clockworkmod recovery (make sure that you go to mounts and storage and format data/cache and system before you flash)

dont add bugs unless you verified them with a clean install (format data/cache/system, then install rom)

-Unfortunatly I brought in my tab for repair this morning and i forgot to take off the screenshots, so if anyone installs it and would be so kind to post some screenshots of the main screen (with analog clock widget), the app drawer, the lockscreen and the camera, it would be awesome !!!​

Can you tell me how to install your rom if I come from ISI rom 3.2 ?

just download it and install with clockworkmod recovery , dont forget to wipe data/cache (factory reset)

semi-dev, most dev's out here are way much more experienced than me
I did set up a linux machine today and made an acount on github, connected to github etc, so i'll be building from source soon, now it's copy paste stuff

for now you will need an app from the market or with adb

strange it worked on my tab before i uploaded the rom, i will have a look at it when my tab get's back from repair

ok, there is not much i can do right now, as i don't have my tab
I expect to have it back next week, please add your bugs (seperatly) to the bugtracker

flashed the rom. looking good and seems to be smooth.
But i get FCs very often. even in the settings. can't even set up my google account. did a wipe, but after installing (did it before, then recovery couldn't access the sdcard where i copied the rom to flash).

this rom is quite promising, but actually it has too many FC. will flash back stock.
but will definetly keep an eye on this one

Its motion sensor is not working properly. it shown inverted screen. I putt off the auto rotate then i can use it properly.

Hmm many issues it seems, i might have an idea what went wrong with the build i have put online, let's pray that my tab is repaired quickly so i can make a new build that deals with it, i also got my hands in the kernel source, trying to figure out now how to enable overclocking and adding some governors

The reason I wrote MAYBE.......
seriously these noobs jst think that our Mighty MAclaw is giving all his attention to the Dev. Thread only, Please guyzz HE is working on all bugs. if a bug has been reported then it doesn't mean that of you report it again then it would jst FIX automatically. Even Maclaw has a Life, He is doing all this for free, why don't you give him some time!!!

facebook app and instagram app not showing its content!! just showing white screen instead of content!! could not solve it so switched to alternative apps!! have you not noticed that problem?

can u confirm its not problem with your display!?? because i havent heard of any one complaining of such problem!! and is that line present only in some app or at all time is it present??

Try reflashing without wipe..if that doesnt work then do full wipe and reflash another rom and see if that too has this problem..if that rom also has this problem, get your display checked. If not, then you just have a bad flash..

can you go to setting- developer option and see if you have checked any option like show touches, pointer location and other similar options?? if yes try disabling them!!

Yep..disable the show touch pointers and all and see if problem persists..if it does..download a new copy from the galaxyICS website..do full wipe and reflash..
also check if any app causes this to happen..

Yes!!!! this even sometimes happenes with DolPHIn Browser HD
NOT olways but it starts randomly then I hve to restart dolphin and it works fine for sometime and it starts again.....
I thought it was a problem with my connection!!

I have that problem on all ICS roms, probably because they're all based on CM9 but when I was using the AceSIII rom by thatgrass I realised that if I removed FB from recent apps it works. Not sure about stock CM9 though. BTW does anyone have a link for beta 8? I find it a lot more smooth than the latest nightly and the galaxyics site now only provides the links for the latest nightlies

i flashed cm9 ics and i ws stuck at boot screen wit a blue or sometimes black screen, waited for upto 20mins bt no use!!
i hv done factory reset,cleared cache,dalvik cache etc bfore flshng,

CyanMobile eXperience PORT PERMISSION

CyanMobile eXperience now with stable release, and have major fix, so now i opened for all porter, all of you can port or use this rom into your device as base for your custom rom, without my permission,
this Rom is already on ldpi, mdpi and hdpi, choose one that close on your device
remember to put setprop ro.squadzone.build 1 into init.rc, to make this rom works and run
all binary and library is upto date, so if this not work on your device, i cant help, DO WITH YOUR OWN RISK..
cm7 is update to 2.3.7 but some binary is old, so you will see different in this rom,because i rewrite and combine them with base from samsung source leaked, zte source leaked, huawei stuff and also from CAF, and OMAPF 2.3.6 source, also AOSP ics source, but remember this cant use as base port other aftermarket rom (MIUI, JOyos, lewaOS), because its different...
and because of that, i update version to 2.3.8, for notice user this different build not same like 2.3.7 again, since this rom have a lots of update APIs, but still remain in level 10, to prevent unsupported 3rd party app,
all kernel source is already on github,
you can share this my post when you trying to port this rom, so people will not judge you...

is this gonna be your last release for CyanMobile and/or Galaxy Mini?

Wow the last update for galaxy mini is very fast and very smooth. But sometimes I give hot reboot how to disable this?

Squadzone, i thin have found a bug, or a disfuntionctement of language.
When the Rom are in english, i can see all option in Cyanogenmod settings, like COmpcache can be 32 % or can see and choose EXt-partition in application Settings, in Cyanogemod Settings.
But when i change language i can't see this option but, i think the options i do work,even if i can"t see them in settings.
have you an idea to solve this ?

Welcome back Squadzone, The rom is super smooth n playing more with the rom. The only bug i have come across till now is that.. In Menu whenever i click and hold any app to create as a shortcut on homescreen.. It is not coming on homescreen.

i tried with cyanmobile options in lockscreen options...call screen style but the option i set don't stay

Cyanmobile settings
Sound settings
Scroll till u find call features
Under call features
Uncheck the two options
1.Back button end call
2.Menu button answer call
And check Allow Incall UI
Then u wil be able to answer call by sliding

You answered my query. I asked if external SD card mounts, and if i can access it using file managers and apps.
It was not so with the CM10.1 preview build.

yes u r correct......
Base is Akop 4.1.2 stable unofficial.........it has almost all features ported from 4.2.....
4.2 in heading indicates jelly beast's version......
enjoy the features integrated in the rom dear friend ............ :good:

[ROM][JB][Update] MIUIv5-3.5.17 Port from Htc touch HD2

Hi, here is my MIUIv5-3.5.3 ported from HTC touch HD2 following @rcset tutorial
Everything works as it is.
Minor modification of build prop
EGL libs updated
Themes not checked, i guess it should work if you follow FR's theme installing procedure in rcsets thread (The system theme it self is beautiful)
MIUI camera is retained. it shows black screen for the first time just change the resolution to 2048*1536 in the settings
MIUI video recording force stop problem, recording should work with third party apps

@rockakhtar : since i used base as rcsets miui. we should ask him which cm10 rom he used as base rom.
note : i guess keyboard(baidu) in the uploaded rom is in chinese(i'm not sure coz i don't know chinese).
to change it to english click an second button from bottom left. this is for your info guys

Missing Additional settings like enable SWAP, Tweak Memory Manage & Power Manage. These options exists on RCset & FR MIUI V5 roms.

Some please tell me how to implement these things in a rom

Camera
the camera is not work (always FC)
the transition some times little bit akward...
but this is a very beautifull ROM
Try and u will love it

I'll update this time based on today's MIUI Release

.. camera is working .. you just have to change the resolution to 2592x1944 at 1st use ..
or using another cam app ..

keepup the spirit.
how to install
1. if the previous rom is MIUIv5 just install on top of that without data wipe.
2. if the previous rom is CM10 factory wipe is recomended.
3. if the previous rom is .32 kernel upgrade it to .35 and flash
everything which works in cm10 is working in this rom also
this is just a plain port. i have not done any mode. i want you guys to mod yourself and let us know if u have a +ve results
