How to add language/dictionary to rom?

1. de-compile all apk´s u want to translate
2. look in re/values folder for tose files: arrays.xml and strings.xml
3. Translate all Srings and arrays from english into ur language (Notepad++)
4. Push ur vales-de from every apk for German Language into all apks u translated ;-)
5. Re-Compile and voila ur translation is done xD

I`m working on translating wwe rom to Latvian.
If there is anybody interested to test and help to translate is welcome.
I found an easy way to do the translation , but still takes some time.

Its been talked a lot how to change language in roms. but not realy how to translate.WHot I did aftre trying again and again:
extracted from wwe rom mui files.(YOu can downlode eng.zip with mui files to start)
then unsighn .eng.zip files are alredy unsighned.
The tricky part is that YOu need PE Explorer and Restorator 2007.
those 2 programs give the best solution for editing mui files.
open PE Explorer then select resource viewer/editor
and go to menu folder duble click on resource and translate whots in caption window.
the same we do with Dialog folder.
save
now open Restorator 2007 and edit String. (By editing string with PE Explorer it messes up the mui file)
dont forget to enable edit mode or press F6.
and edit like
18001, "Simple PIN\0x00"
whot is in red
Save
Now YOu need to sign the file with siggner ( can be found on this forum)
move it to phones memory card and with Resco explorer move to windows dir.
replace existing file. reboot
Generaly thats all

there are Language Extenders for Pocket PC
the latvian did not work with wm 6.1
so easy way to translati is open original mui file in one window and the extender language file in other and copy-paste the text to otiginal file.
esti.zip is just files for looking, copying thext strings. do not use them in YOur phone. they will not work

this works in wwe rom.
try soft spl.
english mui files dont mach with dutch rom. You need wwe rom to play with mui . or edit dutch muis

I found a way to add additional lang to settings!!! we must edit firmware apk
1) use apktool to get xml sources
2) create in res folder new folder with name like strings-ru (for russian language)
3) translate xml and put in our new folder
4) compil framework-res.apk
5) profit!!! Lang will be added automaticly!!!

Hi to all. If you look on my signature, you can look a program that is called "ModernLogin".
This screensaver/tool is translatable and I will ad this feautre to my other two programs.
I need translations to other languages.
If you want help me, you can translate language ini file [L] and help file [H] and then send it to me.
In the ini file you can insert your name or nickname in "author" tag (attention, not ini-author tag!)
Oriental languages are not supported for now, but you can translate the file in your oriental language without problems because i will add support soonly .
Language file: [L]english.ini
Help file: [H]english.rtf
p.s. English, Italian and Chinese are translated yet

Something like translations of the settings.apk or the general android system? The only way for translation is to add the it in the strings.xml (res/values/), I don't know any existing translations, that means he must translate it.

I need Translate language for my country.
I know all file game windowphone is format: xap , appx, appxbundle (i can unpack, repack, mod, Edit, Translate, Patch...)
But.. i not is Tool for View & Edit format: .dll , .cub .dat .txt .xml .bnb .xnb for working Translate language
Sometimes this files contains the language and I want to see and Translate it.
Sometimes the file contains encrypted (i can not see for working Translate language by the file format)
Please help me.. I need Tool for Translate language in format .dll , .cub .dat .txt .xml .bnb .xnb
