plz can anyone help me how to upgrade RADIO ROM for my g4 wizard

does anyonew help me how to upgrade radio rom for my g4 wizard ... plz plz help
cuz i dun really know how.. is it them same like upgrading ROM or something else
can anyone show me the steps to upgrade radio rom...
my G4 wizard has been unlocked by hardspl

Flashing radio Rom is very simple.Download the radio Rom which you want to flash,hook up the phone with pc via usb cable and run the RUU in the Radio Rom,it'll start to flash,it'll hardly take a minute or so to flash,phone will reboot to new Radio Rom.There's no special method to flash a Radio Rom.

oh really....
i didn't really think it was that simple.... cuz i thought it must have been really hard and complicated to flash any radio rom to a wizard G4 ... i got that from someone who wrote a message like this: upgrading ur radio rom could brick ur device if u don't really know how and what to do...
If it's as what u said: "hook up the phone with pc via usb cable and run the RUU in the Radio Rom,it'll start to flash"... so it must be really simple

Radio problem

Hi can somebody tell me a radio rom which is for german cards like a vodafone card. I had the problem that i can not turn the phone on by every rom that i flashed. I had use the 1.17.25.26W and the 1.09.25.14 but both does not work

Have you installed the correct rilphone.dll? Is it Simlocked?

rilphnone.dll? what is this an where can i find it? It isn't simlocked

are you using a WM 6.5 ROM? and, did you flash HardSPL (1.56 OliNex) to your device before flashing? not being able to turn the phone on with "every ROM you flashed" suggests that you have the wrong SPL (e.g., have not used HardSPL or USPL to prep your device before flashing).

I had used Hardslp 1.56 before flashing

I'm assuming from above post that HSPL 1.56 was successfully flashed then? Did you check SPL?
You can find rilphone for each radio in radio thread (which is where you should have posted your query!)

[Q] How to downgrade SPL/HBOOT from 1.33.0013d to stock SPL or to 1.33.2005?

first of all, i'd like to say sorry for this stupid question.
im searching via google everything about downgrading 0013d SPL to 1.33.2005 SPL and found nothing.

letme make it clear, got some spinning bird above my head
so, after installing this 0013d SPL,
in case if i want to go back to my previous SPL (1.33.2005),
i should do this:
Dream
1) Download: orange-1.58.73.2.nbh (MD5: aca4dee0c1ece7e9773f2ecbdfbba7c0) (mirror)
2) enter fastboot and run 'fastboot flash nbh orange-1.58.73.2.nbh'
3) wait for the entire nbh to flash
4) boot into the bootloader again (it will be an engineering SPL 1.42.2000)
5) You can now re-flash the radio/hboot/recovery via fastboot that you wish to have installed.
So, wat ive got is, after flashing orange thing, now i have SPL 1.42.2000? not 1.33.0013d? So from this orange SPL i can flash radio then spl back to dangerSPL combo again?
btw im indonesian, well id like to ask u if u know ,about wats the best radio for 0013d in my area?

Yes, exactly, that's the procedure. A bit long way, but secure, because you are using only fastboot, no need top flash SPL and/or Radio through recovery.
About the radio in Indonesia, I don't know what's best, but as far as I know there shouldn't be any differences for different countries.

battery lifetime is the 1st one then speed then stable..

First, why do u want to downgrade? Ur current spl can gv u extra ram
For battery life and stability, I would recommend ezterry's AOSP for froyo(2.2), if u wanna try gingerbread (2.3) roms, go for AndDiSa magpie, check his signature
Gingerbread roms are not fully finished yet but they are very stable

[Q] Help with Chevron/unlocking mango?

Hello, new to 'hacking' the WP7 but i want to flash a custom dev unlocked ROM to my phone, but i want to make sure i dont use the wrong ROM, so i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction?
I have a HD7 (T Mobile unlocked, US model, i'm in the UK if that makes a difference, also using o2)
It's currently running the official mango by the disconnect internet trick in zune.

any Schubert ROM will flash successfully to your HD7 with RSPL or HSPL installed.
with that said...
is either RSPL or HSPL installed?
if not... you will need to get that. DFT's RSPL/HSPL.
and here is a little how-to if you have the wrong SPL. see steps 2 and 8.
after that,
any ROM in the HD7 WP7 Development thread should flash fine.

Thats great thanks! just a few questions for you..

So if i install a nodo ROM (considering i'm currently on Mango) will it just roll back with no problems?
do i need to do anything specific with these ROMS that have different radio software versions? or can i just ignore them?
I'm trusting if i use the backup tool i can restore my text messages etc again, i dont really feel loosing them. :/

RSPL is, basically, a temporary SPL, which returns to OSPL (stock SPL) after reset.
HSPL is 'permanent' until you flash another SPL or return to stock.
both allow you to flash a custom ROM.
if you flash a RUU_Signed.nbh from a NoDo ROM it will 'roll back' fine, but will erase all data currently on the device.
but if you just flash the SPL_Signed.nbh from a NoDo ROM, it will only flash the Radio and SPL. i recommend task00 to flash this.
unfortunately, through Zune, SMS doesn't get backed-up.

I've managed to roll my phone back using the zune software, i didnt know that was a option, so now it's back to NODO but with the problem of my SPL is set to v4.5 and the link you sent me here takes the SPL to 4.05 if i'm reading it right.. but DFT RSPL only goes up to 3.4... so have i hit a dead end completely? :S

nope. not a dead end.
quickest fix.
01. visit HD7 Radio Wiki, link in my signature.
02. download a stock NoDo or Pre-NoDo Radio for your device.
03. extract the SPL_Signed.nbh from the 'stock' folder.
04. flash SPL_Signed.nbh with task 00.
05. SPL has now been rolled back.
from there...
06. flash RSPL.
07. flash HSPL, if desired.
08. flash newer Radio, if desired, using RUU_Unsigned.nbh from desired Radio.
09. flash Custom ROM of choice.

Sorry another question, I had found this program for making backups, now for some reason i cant post on that thread but it wont restore after i installed the new ROM, i dont suppose you have any idea why? it says restored in 6. something seconds then restarts the phone with no changes :S

best bet, is to ask the question on that thread.
i haven't ever tried using it to back up my device.
actually, i haven't ever backed up my device before.
too busy constantly flashing and testing my intrinsicROM.
