Hey guys i am getting a new galaxy note n7000 and just wanted to know can this model be unlocked to run on AWS frequency?
Thanks in advance.
I can unlock your sim, but first check if N7000 works with the frequency of your carrier.

It does not support AWS, so you will not get 3G.

Hi,
I bought my SGA from India. I will be in US for 2 months. When I inserted a US SIM in my phone, no network was shown.
Is it because of the difference in frequency bands of GSM in India and USA? But isn't SGA quad-band? (850/900/1800/1900)?
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance..
Indian Ace should work in USA too..
Actually, I traveled to USA with my Indian Galaxy Ace and it worked for me. I tried international roaming with my AirTel number and also tried AT&T network at USA.
have you unlocked your phone already?
if you're rooted you can use galaxy ace unlock. it's free and easily gets you the code needed for unlocking.
just search for it on the play store

Flashing US version of android firmware may solve the issue.

I haven't unlocked my phone, but have rooted it. I don't think Indian Phones are locked.

Yes u r correct. Indian fones are not locked. Try a US based firmware or try Network Settings- Auto detect Carrier and choose mode to Auto.

Rooting does not affect unlocked status. I have an unlocked telus note 4 on ATT in the U.S.
Rooting did not effect the unlock
Ok. Thank you. Best rooting method?

Yes you will want to only flash roms from the tmobile section. Our note 4 are called sm-n910t.
This will guide you in the right direction for rooting

I guess so, I just went to settings>about device>software update and down loaded it. When it was installed it said thankyou for choosing T-Mobile or something like that.
Anyone know if I can reflash my 920c to a US Tmobile Rom or flash the modems? I just want to be able to get better signal instead of 1 or 2 Bars in most areas.
Anyway to fix the Low Signal issue??

You cannot flash firmware from t-mobile version, try to enable all bands and test signal
